Super Nails of Brandon

I’m giving this salon and their owners a Zero!!! Not only did the nail tech… Drill my cuticles but she completely filed all the acrylic off in one area. When I pointed this out to her, she had the audacity to tell me I was getting gel over the acrylic so I shouldn’t worry about it. When I insisted that she put acrylic over my nail.(isn’t that the point of an overlay…) she put such a minuscule amount and then filed it off…
She changed the color of the polish that I chose to something I didn’t want… I chose a pearlish white… And I wanted a black line. She put a white polish and then put glitter over the top. The she told me she wouldn’t do the black line. She thought it wouldn’t look good. At this point, I let her know that I have never had such POOR service… It’s even more ridiculous that I paid 35 for this! further more my nails are crooked!!!

I have been here twice and felt compelled to review since no one else has yet. Here’s the deal, I have been in the area for a little over a year and am still trying to find «my» nail tech. I want someone I always go too and would recommend to others. I ran in here the first time just for a shellac manicure about a month ago. They had a sign out front that said a shellac manicure was 20 bucks so I thought yay! The nail tech was friendly we talked most of the time and he did a pretty good job on a basic french manicure. I did notice it was sssuuuupppppeeeer clean which made me happy and they also do a savings card where once you get five stamps you get ten bucks off which I also like. However, somehow my mani ended up being $ 35? I didn’t say anything paid and tipped and went on my manicured way. Well yesterday I decided while at work that I was tired of my nails always breaking and decided to go for a full set. I got there around 530 and it was really busy but they were nice and had plenty of techs so I only waited for a few minutes. I ended up getting the same guy I had the first time and we chatted away about football while he applied my acrylic set. I got a pink and white french manicure with sparkly tips nothing crazy and it was $ 45! Am I missing something? I looked at their price menu thingy when I came in! The prices on their price board have now not matched what I was charged twice! And my nails are mehhhh. I should have looked more carefully but the tips are supercrooked and he cut my thumb when he was buffing and filing. He also didn’t fill all the way down to the cuticle so it already looks like I am like a week away from needing a fill already! I can’t decide if I will go back… I feel like I keep getting overcharged for something one of my friends could probably do better sitting at my house. I wish I could see what other people thought of this place!
