Sometimes you just need a Chocolate Extreme blizzard really bad. And you drive 25 miles to get one. Like I did. And this DQ was a pleasant surprise, b/c the staff were really nice. To be honest, I am starting to think that paying 3 dollars for a blizzard at DQ is a hell of a lot better than going to some expensive restaurant and paying 8 – 15 dollars for a suck-ass dessert. DQ rules.

It’s a relatively small location but I like the fact that it has a drive through-makes those late night summer cravings easy to please. The drive thru is a little different because you order normally but then have to pay out the passenger side. The employees are very good about stepping outside to collect your money if you don’t have a passenger in the car. There are parking spaces along the road and a couple of tables to eat at outside but I haven’t ever used them and don’t know if I will because it’s right on 60 and that’s not my idea of a relaxing ice cream outing. I do however enjoy bringing my chocolate chip cookie dough blizzard home to enjoy. Every time I’ve gone there the service has been fast and the ice cream delicious.
