Bulk Nation Usa

I’m glad I stopped in, this is a nice unique store where they have lots of bulk items that you can buy in amounts that YOU want! I’ll throw in the disclaimer to begin with: definitely don’t shop here hungry because you will either a.) snack in the store, which is seriously frowned upon, or b.) buy way too much snacks.
When you come in, there’s pretty much a wall devoted to all sorts of nuts, cut in various ways (slivered, halved, ground up, etc). They also have different flours, a large assortment of dried fruits (figs, plums, dates, oranges, mango, apples, pears, bananas). What surprised me was that they had dry powder for different baking mixes, like cookies or muffins, and also soups or quinoa dishes. In the back is where you will find the herbs and teas. One of the ladies working there recommended the Chai and the Blood Orange teas so I got some of those to try out.
They do have protein powders here, but I’m a bit conflicted on the cost. I got some of the Chocolate Peanut Butter (casein) protein at $ 19.99 per lb. Comparing that to Casein you can get online (ex. on Bodybuilding, you can get Optimum Casein at ~$ 33 for 2 lbs, so that’s about a $ 7 difference), you’re actually paying more here. That makes me wonder about how much you are really saving on other items in the store, but I haven’t really done the math for simpler items like nuts or dried fruit.
If I’m back in the area, I would easily stop back in to check it out.

My mind is blown! There’s no other store in the Tampa area that I know of that is quite like this place. Sure, Fresh Market and Whole Foods have some bins of nuts and candies that you can bag up but Bulk Nation is a whole store with aisles of bins with various spices, powdered soup, dried fruits, candies, nuts, spices, seeds, Nutella!, etc, etc, etc that you bag and weigh.
I was in awe walking around and saw many items I hadn’t seen before — they even have a station where you can make almond butter and other variations, similar to FM. The prices are great and they have specials on many items. Apparently, they have a few locations in the Tampa area so check out one near you. You’ll be glad you did!

Whether you want an ounce of something or a pound, this is the place to go. So many barrels and containers of all kinds of nuts, candies, dried fruit, flours, spices… etc. I was so excited that I could put together my favorite trail mix that I used to by in Ca. In no time I had a pound of dried cranberry trail mix, a few ounces of dried fruits
ounce or two of sunflowers seeds. mix those babies together and voila, the best snack on the planet. Hubby discovered cinnamon covered pecans while there and is now addicted.
If you just want to try a little bit or this or a whole lot of that, Bulk Nation is the place to get it!

I love bulk food stores and Bulk Nation is no exception. It really is kinda misnamed. The food items are available in bulk but you don’t have to buy 3 tons of anything. I needed some pine nuts for a bracciole but I didn’t want Publix humungo size. I bought 4 ounces at Bulk Nation.
They have pretty much anything you want and some things you didn’t know existed. Buy as much or as little as you need. Awesome selection of retro candies too. It’s fun just to browse thru and see all their stuff. You can’t help buy something.

This is a pretty cool place. Tons of items to choose from and mostly reasonable prices, however like most bulk stores you have to be shopping savvy and know how to convert what you would pay at the grocery store versus what you pay here at Bulk Nation.
I really wish that they had more scales around the store. Maybe they will consider that, but by putting them up front, they know they have you because you’ve already bagged your items.
Overall, I liked it!

Haven’t really been one to buy in bulk but this store may be reason enough to change my mind. Wandered in while waiting for a movie start time at this shopping center’s AMC theater. What I discovered made me glad I did check it out.
There are bulk bins of just about everything. Roasted coffee beans? Check plus there is a grinder so you can take care of that step too. Spices? Rows and rows of exotic to everyday spices. Nuts, dried fruits and sweets? Yes, yes and yes. Plus pastas, local honey and too much to try to list.
The aisles are wide, the bins of what’s in stock seem to be well maintained and the selection is impressive. And signs signaled which items were new so the inventory must be ever-​changing.
This is a great place to find ready-​to-​eat snacks, ingredients for a homemade soup or dessert (there is a selection of cooking utensils/​bakeware for added convenience) or just to stock up on your favorite foods.
The store signs invite visitors to scoop and save. Hard to tell how much someone might save but what a great way to new foods and flavors.

Exceeded my expectations!
The name Bulk Nation brings to mind large tubs of candy or perhaps trail-​mix and nuts, but this place has a much bigger scope. They have a whole wall full of spices, large vats of oils (avocado, grapeseed, etc), and every cooking ingredient imaginable. The pastas and grains had lots spiced combo options. There were also various recipes above the bins!
My only concern was that customers were touching all the scoops, which could spread germs. That said, there were signs everywhere cautioning against putting hands in the bins, so it seemed like the staff were aware of this potential problem.
Very pleased with the quality and the low price of my purchases. I will certainly be back for refills!

WOW! This is an amazing place for the at home cook. If you need an ingredient (say a cup of coconut flour) this is the place you need to go to. Sometimes when I am cooking I only require just a little bit of an ingredient, but you can only purchase it large quantities, this makes the recipe viable. they have all types of nuts, snacks, sugar, flour, pastas, rices, soups, and the list goes on. The spice aisle is amazing! SOOOOO glad this opened. I WILL BE BACK!
Bought the carmel corn and chocolate buckeyes. THEY ARE DELICIOUS!!!
PRICES are very reasonable, this is an awesome place to head to before the movie to load up on candy and snacks without having to break the bank.

I have passes this store many times and hesitated going in and did on a whim the other day and I’m so glad I did! It is such a cool store. They have so many item in there! You pay per weight and can get as much or as little as you want! They have everything! From Nuts, to spices, dried fruit, candy, different types of sugar, different types of flour; the list could go on and on. The items are pretty decently priced as well! I was surprised how much cheaper some of the times were here compared to there places (ie. the grocery store). After you scoop what you want into a bag/​container you write the bin number on a tag so it makes for a speedy checkout. With each purchase you get a mini scoop as well for your bulk items! Such a cool place!
