The best burger i’ve had around here so far. I’ve always looked at burgers as a lazy man’s meal, and lately have been trying to see what all the hubbub about at different places not really caring about the service or other things right now just the burgers.

If only I didn’t have to give any stars but one star will do because I feel bad for this place but our server was good — our order was completely messed up so they had to keep bringing things on the side to make up for it that was supposed to be in the burger. Then the kids meals were missing ranch on the side for their chicken tenders probably because they’re too busy doing the happy faces with the ketchup… Anyways while I was enjoying my burger — there’s a piece of hair in it right on my caramelized onion so the server said ew and asked if I wanted them to make me a new burger. As this point, they’ve already messed up several times so I declined and of course they’re like«I’m so sorry» and took it off our bill but please check your food if you ever plan on eating here. None of the kitchen staff is dressed properly not wearing hats or hair nets. Won’t be back!

Oh Jeez. we had the most bizarre and awkward lunch here the other day. The server was a sweet young kid but he got overwhelmed when he mixed up our order and the table behind us. That was OK– especially for us– we got our food first. But the poor table behind us waited almost 30 more minutes for their little toddler’s cheeseburger BECAUSE the girl cooking literally argued with the server that she shouldn’t have to make the meal again since she had once already(and it went to the wrong table). He had to seriously convince her to do her job. And this is a little burger diner where they are cooking right beside you– it was impossible not to hear. That is, unless it was drowned out by the sound of the unhappy kid and even unhappier mother behind me. And of course, we felt awful and like it was somehow our fault, since the whole thing was made so much more difficult than it had to be… IMO whoever was cooking that day should be fired– she clearly doesn’t get customer service OR team work.

I don’t mind paying for a good meal, but the total for my order was outrageous. I got chicken tenders, fries, and a milkshake which ended up costing me $ 18, including tip. The most irritating part was that the waitress asked if I wanted fries with my chicken tenders(usually they come with it, right?), well she never mentioned that it was a $ 2 up-charge. Service was mediocre even though we were the only ones in the restaurant at the time. I don’t plan on going back in the future.

Food was good but service needed help. We had a teenager that played on her phone behind the counter he entire time. I had to walk up to her twice to ask for things. At one point it looked like the manger saw it and didn’t say anything. I did not feel valued as a customer.

Terrible, frozen patties, cold fries, messed up our order at least three times, then cancelled it without asking! Didn’t even get three things we ordered, finally just gave up. Shakes were runny too! And the manager didn’t apologize or check on us after all the mistakes, poor customer service. Don’t bother coming here!

Amazing service and fun environment. Great burgers and shakes! Always surprising me with new additions to the menu. Very clean and fast service. Even though the shakes are so big, they’re great enough to finish.

Went in on Sunday night. 30 minutes to get a simple order. Service was non-existent. Dropped food and never came back. Had to ask for drink refills, had to ask for an order to be fixed. Paid for the endless salad and never had the chance for even one refill because we couldn’t get Justin to pay attention to us. Overcooked cheesesteak, sans the cheese — which we had to ask for. Food was a less than mediocre and service was horrible. Very underwhelming.

Came in with my two year old after a movie and waited 15 minutes for an acknowledgment .never got it until I told them I was leaving. It wasn’t even busy. Sad.

Aww. I don’t understand what’s wrong here. We’ve been twice. Each time, the shop is dead. There were no customers and the employees were standing around. I’m happy there’s an American family restaurant in brambleton but don’t understand why they aren’t hoppin.

What do you say about cold burgers, cold fries and indifferent wait staff. I’ve had better food from a food truck in the rain. Burger was overcooked and cold, condiments on it were wilted & soft — no snap– and the fries tasted salty and had grown flaccid. Yes flaccid, I’m sure they had better days but they were done now. With all the good burger places in Ashburn the owner here needs to have a serious talk with his restaurant managers and crew. Back to Burger 21 or better yet Melt in Leesburg.

Awesome place! Great servers(I think it was Lainee who took care of me) and was fabulous! Juicy burgers and loved the endless fries. Would definitely go back before catching a movie!

We tried Johnny Rockets again bc the manager was gracious to invite us back after my last review. This time around was 100 times better. The service was better, the food was better and the experience was better. Thank you to the manager for inviting us back and thank you to the staff for showing us how they really run business. We will be back

The staff was very friendly, but we got stuck in the side room with kids running around screaming and bumping into our table. Granted, the main dining area was packed. There was one table available in the main dining area, but they stuck us in the loud party room. Waited for 45 minutes for our order, then I had to walk to the counter to ask to take it to go or we’d miss our movie. I could tell the girls were trying their best. I think they were just overwhelmed. They apologized for the wait and got me my order and check promptly.

I really wanted to like this place. Husband and I were coming out of a movie and thought to go to Johnny Rocket’s. Going in, I knew that this was a family friendly restaurant and that there would be young kids there. That doesn’t bother me. The way this particular restaurant is set up, there were two different seating restaurant. Where Husband and I were seated, it looked like it was an additional storefront they took over. Between the kid party next to us and the volume of the music, Husband and I shouted our whole conversation to each other. It was as if any noise that was made was reverberated off the floor, walls, and ceiling. We ordered chili fries, a specialty burger each, and a milkshake each. The chili fries were quite good. The fries were crispy, so they didn’t soak up the chili and get soggy. The shakes were good. I like my shakes a bit thicker, but the flavor was good. The burgers were. .. okay at best. I got a Route 66 which came with mushrooms, onions, and swiss cheese. At least the toppings gave the burger some taste. The burger patty was blah. I gave the place two stars because I’ve had worse. Then again, I had a lot better as well. I doubt I’ll be going back any time soon.

I was there again last night… and the kids picked the place to eat. I had a salad and it was a bowl of iceberg lettuce, some tomatoes(not fresh) and a chicken tender. Blah. Edible, but I make better salads at home. Hubby and the kids had burgers, hot dogs, fries and o-rings. The reviews on the Orings was good, the burgers and fries were«fine», the choc milkshake good. Service OK but lacking in details… like when she picked up the dishes from the table, rather than walk to the area of the table where she could reach the dishes, she had us pass them around the table. It was odd. Overall, a better experience than the last time we were there, but nothing impressive.

Good hamburger and milk shake joint. Good selection of burgers cooked to your order. I have been here a few times and the Wait Staff service is hit or miss. The dining area has a lot of seating. They could work alittle bit more on keeping the place cleaner as well as better job of cleaning tables and seats after customers leave. Parking in front if the place is limited with a larger parking lot approx 40 – 50 yds across the street and a public parking garage(free) in the read of the building.

Oh how this Johnny Rocket’s has gone downhill. Now I’ve been to this Johnny Rocket’s several times, each time hoping that the quality of food would get better. However, that just doesn’t seem to be the case. As for service, I mean it wasn’t bad, but nothing special either. I ordered the Grilled chicken sandwich with the endless fries, while my wife ordered the Cheesesteak with the endless fries. I’m sorry to say this but neither my wife nor I was satisfied with our respective meals. We both agreed that both meals were pretty bland with no real flavor or taste. The only thing that saved the meals were the endless fries and the«ketchup» gods. Otherwise it would have been an utter disappointment. We weren’t satisfied with our meals at all. I mean the meals weren’t bad but the lack of taste/flavor just led me to believe that their really isn’t a lot of effort being put into making these dishes. I know when I go into places like Johnny Rocket’s I am expecting my food to be something I’ve never tasted before. Not something I could have created/made myself. I don’t think we will be returning anytime soon.

The restaurant is not very clean. The bench was wet and dirty when we were seated. It took a really long time to get our food. The menu is pretty standard for what you’d expect at one of these fake old-fashioned diner places. My chicken cheesesteak was OK. The bread was soggy in some places, and they put a different cheese than what I asked for on it. Despite peppers, onions and mushrooms being standard for a cheesesteak, JR’s charges you extra for it. The fries are very plain and standard. The service actually started out pretty good, but by the end of the meal, everyone’s drinks were empty and we stacked our glasses on the edge of the table hoping to send an SOS for refills, but no dice. Mostly the place was really loud and seems to host a lot of kids’ birthday parties. If you have AT&T, you will have no cell signal inside JR’s for some reason. Oh, and BTW, parking for this location isn’t the best. I’d say JR’s is a place you can pass on.
