This is a good place for some quick sushi if you are at South Shore Plaza. Quality is decent but I am not a fan of the rice they use for the maki(it seems a little too glutinous). I had lunch here this past Saturday, and got the spicy tuna combination along with a spider maki. The combination was good but the spider maki was not the best I had. The actual pieces were smaller than many I have had(compared to other fast food, convenient type places, not sit down sushi joints). Prices are comparable to many fast food sushi shops.

For the price and location, this place is very good. I like salmon and always get the salmon lover for $ 9.94. Highly recommended if you’re shopping in the mall and too cheap or too lazy to go to the sushi restaurant across the street.

This was a pretty good place for it to be in the mall. I wish there was a wider variety on their sushi special menu but I understand at the end of the day, this is still a business. They were quick and I was eating in no time. I had the Philly and a spicy tuna roll and I was no disappointed at all.

I was pretty impressed with the sushi here esp. seeing that it’s in a mall food court. In my opinion it’s the most fresh and decent option to eat in the mall. The price to quality is pretty fair too. Tip: $ 7.99 for two rolls is a great deal and walk up to the register to look at the full menu.

Average mall sushi. All in all, just average. Don’t get your hopes up as their is no flare or personality in the taste.

For mall sushi, its pretty good. They do make their food really quickly so its not the nicest looking, but then again you dont go to the mall expecting amszing sushi prep either. Overall, this is my go to food choice when at the plaza.

I stop here often when I’m in the area and the food is great every time. The prices are very reasonable and service is quick. I highly recommend Nori Sushi!

Friendly staff, decent sushi, decent price, FAST preparation I am a big fan of sushi and a critic when it comes to judging sushi quality and taste. Quality: 6⁄10 Fresh avocados and cucumbers, but the salmon, tuna, and eel are average. Taste: 7⁄10 The sunshine roll, umi roll, and dragon roll are good not great, the shrimp tempura is rather small and lack the crispiness that you would like… The rolls are typically drenched with unagi sauce and spicy mayo that overpowers the taste.

I am a regular sushi eating person and have tried sushi places all over boston and this place really took me by surprise. Their sunshine roll was mouth watering, melt in your mouth sushi with a crunch outside & in the middle. Everything else was really fresh & great Im a regular customer now

I typically steer away from mall sushi, but was craving sushi. I am not from the area and we had arrived in town after a few hours of driving hungry. We had to go to the mall for something and I was needing sushi like a mad woman. I was pleasantly surprised at the taste of this. It was really good and the price could be beat. Most mall«sushi» places only offer a a few select rolls, but this place had a really good selection and awesome prices.

Yet another delicious trip to Nori! I can confidently confirm that their sweet potato rolls are some of the best that I have ever had. I also think it is better to stick with their cooked rolls, as I was more impressed with my Tempura Roll from this visit than from the Alaska Roll that I ordered before. The batter-fried shrimp was flavorful, and still warm. Yumm!!! Great work, Nori! Who knew you could find such yummy sushi inside a mall food court?

I was hesitant about buying sushi inside the mall and honestly have seen a sushi place inside a food court before. However, I was craving for some sushi that day and decided to get some. When walked over to their area a lady immediately handed me a menu to lok at. I decides to get the two sushi roll combo which you can choose whatever was listed. I got the spicy salmon roll and salmon avacado roll(as you can see I love salmon). The order was made in a timely matter and once I opened it and ate it, I was happy. The sushi rolls were fresh to my surprise and it tasted good. The plus side to this is it was only $ 7.99 for 16 pieces(2 rolls). Usually if you go to a regular sushi restaurant, a roll can cost as much, more or less depending on what get. Now, whenever I come to the mall and want something to eat, this is the first place I would stop by now. I’ve also had the salmon don and unagi(eel) don dinner plates and both were just as good. So yes, I would recommended coming here for reasonably-priced sushi and I learned that mall sushi can be just as good as any other sushi joint that you would normally go to so don’t judge like I did. I should also say that not all mall food are bad and shouldn’t have sterotyped it before trying it first.

Surprisingly good for mall sushi. They offer a good selection of sushi and combinations. And the prices are cheap. It’s located in a kiosk in front of the food court but is easily seen. The service and the wait for the food are both quick. I’d come here for sushi rather than Sarku any time.

I’ve been getting my sushi here for the past year and it’s delicious, and always fresh. Because only one guy makes the sushi, their not that quick, but it’s definitely worth the wait. My personal favorite is the Nori Sushi.

Struggling with food poisoning after being given old tuna.(It looked a little grey, and I shouldn’t have eaten it, but I did anyway. My tummy definitely hates me right now.) The rest of the fish didn’t have much flavor at all, and was clearly previously frozen. :-/ Stick with cooked rolls if you have to visit this place. 3 am update: Worst food poisoning I’ve ever had. Cannot even keep ginger ale and saltines down… My husband tried calling them to tell them not to serve the tuna anymore, but of course no one answers nor is there a machine to leave a mssg. Called mall security as it’s a safety issue, and was told to call back the next day to speak to mall management. Meanwhile… more people are getting poisoned. Nice work, Simon malls.

Good quality, fair price! This is the best sushi for all the mall that i have been to. As a Mall food court restaurant, they have the best service and quality. The boss are so nice. My family and I love to go to SSP just to get the sushi, love this place! My favorite maki, orange blossom!

Had their sushi combo number 2 which gives you 3 sushi of tuna, salmon, shrimp(you can substitute if you ask) and a roll of spicy tuna? And a single of spicy salmon? Im not really sure but the sushi was very good for a value of 7.99 dollars! Some of their selections are a bit pricey but hey its boston AND its in the mall! The workers are very nice and you don’t have to wait too long for them to finish making your food.

This is the best mall sushi that I’ve had up here in Massachusetts. It’s incredibly underrated and it deserves a lot more attention than it gets. They have unagi and tako; My absolute favorites that I have only ever been able to get at one place up here near my house since Whole Foods stopped serving eel. I waited fifteen minutes or so for sushi that tasted great. You know what else there is to actually appreciate? The fact that you can watch them make it right in front of you. You know that it’s fresh. That being said, maybe some of you who didn’t grow up with raw fish as a part of your culture should shut up seeing as your ordering things like California rolls, which aren’t traditional or real sushi, period. That alone tells me how reputable you are when it comes to judging sushi or sashimi. Obviously, someone who is of a certain race and grew up knowing how to prepare this in their home knows better than you do. My only complaint is that I wish they served miso. Some miso soup while I’m on break at work would be so, so nice.

Surprising that the best sushi I’ve had in years is at a MALL! But yes, it’s awesome. They have an exquisite sushi prep area with a special storage area for the fish — better than some sushi restaurants. It’s now on my top 10 list of go-to places for good food in this area! I’ve eaten here well over 25 times and NEVER gotten sick. Go eat at the«free mango chicken» place across from Nori and THERE, you WILL get sick…

I love maki rolls as a healthy lunch option in a food court filled with other(unhealthy) choices. I stopped at Nori Sushi yesterday to get an order of Salmon & Avacado rolls, but the long weight time surprised me. My husband had nearly finished his meal from Chicken Now by the time I got to the table, and we joked that Nori Sushi must have a secret escalator in their booth that goes to the ocean to catch the fish because the wait time was so long. The maki rolls were tasty, but I felt bad keeping others waiting for me while I waited for my food, so I’ll probably go to another kiosk next time I’m in this food court.
