There is an old adage. «You get what you pay for.» ‘Tis true when it comes to this retailer. Poor quality clothing and rude staff. My niece is 8 and now I know why in all of her 8 years I’ve never shopped at this store. Bye Gymboree!

Misleading advertising
Their company values include: «We are Authentic — We believe in what we do. We believe our relationships should be genuine. We want every customer and every employee to feel valued.»
I can state that I do not. I just purchased over $ 50 worth of clothing at the Braintree MA location and only *after* the purchase was processed was I notified that there were conditions associated with when the $ 25 Gymbucks could be spent. Nowhere in the store advertising was this condition stated.
I feel that this is deceitful and in my line of business would consider this a «smoke and mirrors» scheme.
Received from Customer Service: We truly appreciate you taking the time to write to us regarding this issue. Our Gymbucks promotion is closely audited and they can only be earned and redeeming during specific dates. Unfortunately we are truly unable to accept Gymbucks prior to April 7, 2011. We apologize that this information was not provided to you prior to checkout.
