This is a typical Marshall’s store. Nice and orderly, with more novelty t-shirts than other locations. I found a decent amount of Bulls, Blackhawks and White Sox gear here.

I would like to take back my 3 and give Marshall’s a 4. They have greatly improved their selection since last year, primarily in the food and housewares department.(I would probably still give their clothing, shoes and accessories 3 stars – it’s hit or miss.) They’ve started carrying a bunch of organic and hard-to-find food items that I’ve been on the hunt for. They also have k-cups and fair trade coffee — wow, color me impressed. Since I cook at home 90% of the time now, I want to start buying some new cookware and kitchen items. They have some really cool items that are on my list including a salad spinner, bamboo utensils, a wok and even a few things that I didn’t know that I needed, like the handy dandy avocado keeper. It will seal your half used avocado so it doesn’t turn brown. If you’re looking to update your kitchenware or wanting to explore some new food items, I would recommend checking Marshalls out first. Their prices can’t be beat and you might be surprised at what you find here!

My favorite place to shop for women’s clothes in the area! I thought I was going to be excited about the Ross that just opened up next to them, but the new Ross is only making Marshalls looks nicer! (Marshalls is more top end discounted stuff… Ross is more low end) Also, the people who work there are always very nice!

I am cheap. I bought most of my clothes and shoes here no one ever new the difference. They always seemed to have a great selection of most of the major name brands.
