I got food poisoning. It was 6 months ago. Will never go back .?order shrimp summer roll and other food. But pretty sure I got food poisoning from the nasty old shrimp in the roll. Then a month later they were listed on dirty dining. No thanks

Well, the pan fried gyoza were still good, my vegi soup was decent, but after I made my phở at home today, I realized how bland their beef phở was, you can’t even taste the spices. If you are looking for great phở, this might not be the place as we come from a city that is full of tasty phở restaurants.

Hidden gem! This place is tucked inside a small shopping strip, don’t let that fool you! When you walk in the owner welcomes you. it’s our fav spot to get Phở with extra bbq pork, yum! We haven’t had the sushi there yet, however, it looks great. this is a Bradenton fav for me and my wife. great soul food for sure!

I got takeout of the beef phở with shrimp added and all the ingredients come in a box and you make the soup yourself. You can see each ingredient and everything looked super fresh. We also got shrimp spring rolls which were huge! I don’t live close to this place so I’m sad I can’t make this a regular thing. Loved it. 4 stars because the noodles are thinner than I like them in phở.

This place looks kinda Sketchy from the outside especially cause there was no one in there when I arrived but this was the best phở and spring rolls i have had! The phở was not to salty or bold it was delicious and warm and the portion was just right, Not too big but definitely stuffed! The spring rolls were amazing had pork and shrimp in them and the peanut sauce wasn’t too runny or thick. This place is definitely a 5 star place and everyone needs to try it at least once in life! The people working were very nice and made sure you had everything and liked everything and you even get a candy with your check! Go now!

I have been meaning to write this review for sometime now. Been coming here for a couple of years. I have brought out of town visitors, dined in and taken out. Excellent, freshly prepared dishes. I have never been disappointed. The place is clean and the owners take care to insure your order is prepared the way you want it. They have made accommodations to include or exclude ingredients in my order. Highly recommended. You won’t be disappointed. Everything is so fresh. I love this place.

We made a first visit here today after reading so many positive reviews in Unilocal. This place is less than 10 minutes from home for us so we were hoping to find decent phở without having to drive into Sarasota. Both of us were very pleased! My home in San Francisco for 20 years was just a few minutes’ walk from the neighborhood known as ‘Little Saigon’ and I learned a lot about Vietnamese food on my twice(or more) a week strolls there for meals. What a surprise to find a neighborhood restaurant here in Bradenton that offered quality, flavor and nearly the variety to make me feel at home! First off, we noticed that the restaurant was clean and neat. The tables are set up with a variety of condiments — hoisin sauce, Sri Racha, regular and low sodium soy, two kinds of chili garlic sauce in a holder with small dishes for condiments chop sticks and Asian spoons. The owner was serving and he was pleasant and helpful. Our starter was that commonest of Viet appetisers, cha gio. They had a tasty filling and crisp with no extra oil, but were made with Chinese egg roll wrappers. Using rice paper to make these would have left them more delicate and authentic. Also, the sauce served with them was not tghe Vietnamese nam pla but some sweet sauce like plum sauce(probably commercial). If the cha gio had been more traditional the restaurant would have earned a five-star rating with trumpets blowing. My hubbie ordered phở tai nam and I had bun bo hue. My standard for judging a Vietnamese restaurant has a lot to do with their broths for the soups. Both soups were superb! They had great flavor and were not overly salty, showing that the owners actually take the time and trouble to make a great both and don’t depend on a load of salty fish sauce to make up for short cuts. The noodles were nicely cooked and the meats were good quality. The bun bo hue actually had some gelatinous pork knuckle in it and was nicely spicy while leaving room to add more heat if you want. The phở tai was excellent too. Service included a couple of plates with bean sprouts, basil, jalapeño slices and lime wedges, as it should. The size of the serving was large enough to fill us up and make us happy. We felt our meas was a good value. Can’t wait to make another trip and enjoy some of the many other favorite dishes I saw on the menu. They also offer sushi, but the Vietnamese dishes are what attract me.

After 2 visits, there is no convincing of a 3rd mistake. Clean restroom & cordial servers. Yet, it is Overpriced, lacking ambiance, and simply not authentic Vietnamese. Will venture others, and keep you up-to-date.

So happy to have found a wonderful Vietnamese place right by our home! We had phở and Vietnamese Spring rolls. Both were delicious! The peanut sauce for the spring rolls was probably the best peanut sauce I’ve ever had. The phở was perfect — we I’ll be back!

This place looks like a chinese take out place turned into Vietnamese. Very strange menu and they didn’t even have dishes with mixed veggies. We had a strange experience and actually only ordered the steamed gyoza because we didn’t see anything on the menu that we liked. They were decent but only served with soy sauce.

The phở here is acceptable. The summer rolls are okay. The sushi was not fresh. I only come here for their pork bahn mi now. The owner is very friendly! He kept trying to sell me their shrimp and julienne vegetable salad three times even though I said no the first time. NOTE: The takeout menus they have by the cash register were not updated to their new prices.

This is my first time here. Today I tried the grilled pork on steamed rice(#9). It was delicious! The flavor is slightly different than what I’m used to(relative to many other grilled pork Vietnamese dishes I’ve had) but it was satisfying. Also, it was either the fish sauce that accompanies this meal or the slight variation in the marinade that made this dish a bit spicy. Please note that I don’t eat a lot of spicy food, so my tolerance is quite low. Regardless, I finished every last bite. The owner is really nice too. Not busy at all so bring all your friends and family. I will be coming back to try the phở.

This place is the real deal for Vietnamese food. No need to get on a plane and go to Vietnam. The food service is friendly and fast. The décor is minimal; the appeal is all about the food. I’m not sure I’d have sushi there but I would definitely recommend the spring rolls(with pork and shrimp), the phở, and the grilled pork chops.

Phở was great, I think the best we found in Bradenton. The spring rolls and egg rolls are made just right! My husband loved his sandwich bahn mi, and now he wants to go back just to pick up a couple of these to smuggle into Carmike Theater. We probably eventually will. Just a note, the sandwiches are on the small side, but delicious. I think we found a spot to frequent, which is rare for Bradenton!

Had the pork and rice with the spring rolls. Everything tasted great and seemed very fresh. Totally missed the Banh Mi rolls on the menu. Will have to come back to try them. They looked a amazing.

I like Phở but I’m far from an expert with the exception that I know good from bad, and I thought this was quite good. Flavorful broth, plenty of rice noodles, TENDER beef, and served with very fresh basil, bean sprouts, peppers, lime etc. And reasonably priced too at $ 8.95. They have a sensibly priced Sushi menu and a selection of Banh Mi neither of which we tried on this first visit. I do wonder how a place this small in both size and volume can have truly fresh fish on a daily basis? I’ll have to try and hopefully be able to add some stars. On the plus side; it was good Phở with a friendly owner, prompt service, and good prices and didn’t involve a trip downtown.

I LOVE and MISS Vietnamese food! I’m Vietnamese and its very difficult to find a good place in Sarasota. My hubs is Italian so he’s happy with his cheese and pep so I’m typically on my own for Asian. I love Phở Cali but it is much further than we’d like to go for take out. I saw this place on Unilocal and decided to try. I ordered the fresh roll, banh hoi, and banh mi. I make fresh rolls at home so I’m used to «fresh flavor». These were delicious. Had both pork and shrimp. Good size and delish! Next, the banh mi(Vietnamese hoagie). These I absolutely love. I can eat these 4 days in a row. It was pretty tasty. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Next time, I will order 2. It was smaller than I expected, but then again it was only $ 3.50. That’s it! The noodles were also good. Could have used more meat and veggies but all in all was good. Will be ordering take out again this week. Glad I took a chance on this place! Great prices!

I stopped coming here. Unless I am REALLY craving some Vietnamese food in a hot-mess way, I don’t think that I will return. Mostly because… There is something strange going on with their Phở broth; it tastes like they use either Korean or Japanese dashi powder as the Phở base. Phở base should never be prepared with such a base, because then that would not be considered Phở since it tastes in-no-way Vietnamese at all. For those that do not know what dashi is and are not able to google it— Dashi is dried and smoked fish shavings, often eaten as-is(like potato chips or fries with beer), used as flavor enhancers(ex: in broths), or as a condiment/decoration(on top of takoyaki or okonomiyaki). The ladies from work refer to their soup as «the yummy fish bacon soup.» And that is why. No thanks. Interesting that one of the employees from this location moved over to the new Vietnamese restaurant in Cortez Mall, and their Phở broth tastes like Phở. Enough about broth… — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — – I have noticed a steady decline on all of the foods items in general. Well, not all, because I refuse to eat sushi here. The jasmine rice is often overcooked. They use Korean style kimchi instead of Vietnamese pickled on rice plates. And it tastes from a jar, you know, like the kimchi that you buy at Publix and then never buy again. The Banh Mi has waaaaaaay too much mayo. Bubble Tea is only made as a milkshake with huge chunks of ice. You get the idea…
