We have tried numerous Chinese takeout places in Bradenton, most of them terrible but Chopstix we have eaten take out a couple dozen times and it is always consistently good! It’s our go to «don’t want to cook dinner tonight» meal. Don’t expect NYC Chinese take out this is 5 stars in the context of Bradenton FL. Love their homemade mustard! Gen Tso, wanton soup, and spare rib tips are a couple of our favs!

Just another example of lousy blah tasting Chinese take-out in the Bradenton/Sarasota area. We tried it once, always on the hunt for decent egg rolls in Florida. Nope. It hasn’t happened yet.
Can anyone direct me to a decent egg roll around here? Every place we try uses spring roll wrappers for their egg rolls, and the filling is flavorless mush. Are actual egg roll wrappers not available in Florida?

I am not a fan of this place. The rice doesn’t taste very flavorful like other places I’ve had. The sweet and sour chicken is all breeding. And not the good kind. This breaking is raw and thick. The actual chicken in it is very small, which is deceiving since you pick up a large piece and it turns out to be mostly breading.

Don’t let the photos on the Unilocal page fool you. The food does not look like that at all, and is served in Styrofoam.
This is a typical take-out place with all of the same dishes and nothing fancy.
A good place to go when I really need some stir-fried veggies/meat, and I am just too lady to make anything.
For dine-in, there are only two tables. But, the space is fairly clean.
I was totally tricked into trying this place because their graphic design on the sign… it has an updated look. Silly me, I assumed that the food would be as good as the sign is pretty.
It is very close to my house, in a stripe mall that is almost abandoned. I hope they stay open!
