I ordered the Ma Po Tofu. The tofu, vegetables, sauce, and rice were all great. I ordered pick up and the food was ready in about 10 – 15 min. The price and quality are better than most Chinese restaurants.

I love this restaurant. Their general tsos chicken, orange beef, and Mongolian beef are the best I have had in Florida. I don’t know why others on Unilocal don’t like it. I have turned more people onto this place and they seem to like it too!

Have had only one bad experience where they forgot an item we ordered. Didn’t look at many of the other reviews but I am sure it’s mixed reviews as is most Chinese food places. I can only give my personal opinion. Nothing has ever been undercooked when we have ordered, as i’ve had that problem with a few other places, We are huge fans of Chinese food and in my opinion this is the best in the area. They maintain quality while giving you quantity. Their boneless spare ribs are amazing, and their sesame chicken is even better. We order fairly frequently from them(of all the places we’ve ever ordered this has been one of two places we mostly order from for delivery.) They are very kind people on phone and in person and we loves getting our Chinese food fix from them. They cater to what you ask– if you do not want hot peppers in your food they will leave it out for you– if you want something prepared a certain way just ask for it they’re happy to help. Again dishes I would recommend– their egg rolls, egg drop soup, boneless spare ribs, sesame chicken, chicken with broccoli. I’m sure the rest of their menu is just as great. Prices are fair as well, comparatively.

Usually we get take out from Ming’s Palace, but Ming’s happens to be closed on Sundays. It just so happens that yesterday was a Sunday, and we had a hankering for Chinese. I chose China King as it was the closest, and offers free delivery. The free delivery, and nifty online ordering are pretty sweet, but those are the only highlights of our China King experience. We ordered at 6:45 pm, and our food arrived at 8:00 pm. Their slogan should be «free in a fortnight.» Our order was supposed to come with two free egg rolls. No egg rolls made it to our door. Oh well. The food tastes a lot like average run of the mill Chinese buffet kinds of stuff. Bland flavors, too much breading on the chicken, super thick sauces that are too sweet– you know the style. Crab Rangoon come ten in an order, but they are low on filling and it has little flavor. General Tso’s wasn’t spicy at all and tasted more like sweet and sour, and the sauce was bright red like sweet and sour sauce. Beef Lo mein was alright, but again slightly lacking in flavor. The fried dumplings were decent, and the best item out of the order. This is food for people who like large portions, but lower quality flavor.

Terrible food. I ordered online and arrived 15 min later. They started on my order once I told them that I had ordered online. I asked for extra spicy general tso’s chicken but it was all sweet. Fried rice was undercooked and crunchy. The egg roll was tough and hard to eat. The bottom line is STAYAWAY!

General tso/chicken lo mien turned out good. The breaded chicken ofc had more bread. Sauces were great. Egg rolls good. Fried rice in the platters didn’t taste like grease. 7.50 $ per meal was a good filling deal especially with a quick delivery. 35 mins*

How can these people say this is like a NYC Chinese restaurant?!? We ordered it for the first time last night, and it had no flavor. The Pork Lo Mein was flavorless with sad chunks of pork that had the consistency of shoe leather. The General Tso’s chicken had 5 miles of breading and was just sweet with no heat. Their fried rice also was YELLOW like it came out of one of those mini Mahatma Spanish rice packets, but with no flavor, again — not even salty! The Pu Pu Platter was over fried and icky, everything too greasy, and the Crab Rangoon had zero crab or surimi — never again! They have a cool online ordering system, and the delivery came quickly, so that was nice… but dinner was sick, and not in a good way. Sticking with the far superior Ming’s Palace on Whitfield!

While I have compassion for how much work goes into running a restaurant, I think I will forever mark this place as a never again. We ordered an appetizer and entrée for pickup and she quoted 15minutes. We showed up 10min later and they had not even started cooking it. She said it would be ready in 10 minutes so we took a seat; 30 minutes later and listening to tell anyone who asked 15 min, we got our food. Ready to dig in as soon as we got home, the appetizer of pan fried dumplings looked like shrivled dark brown balls of nastiness. They were saturated w grease and even the tips is were overdone do clearly they dumped these in the fryer then forgot about them. I opened one to see inside and it was ineatable. While the entrée dinner was good it was nothing special. Much better quality Chinese takeout in the area that we will order from next time.

Yuck. I ordered this for delivery at a local hotel. It came fast enough, but everything was a greasy mess. I had moo shu pork, it was oily and tasteless. Any of the fried sides(egg roll, wonton) was obviously cooked in oil that needed to be changed. Save your money and pass on this one.

Loved this place until just now when I bit into a piece of metal while enjoying some General Tso’s. Mmmmm metal. I went back to the restaurant thinking«of course, they’ll surely refund my money.» Instead, they offered to give me half of my money back, because I only brought back the piece with metal– as opposed to the rest of the chicken I threw away. I insisted this offer was unreasonable and they offered to cook me another yummy batch. Eventually, I was refunded the full amount, but it wasn’t until after I waited for them to send out orders and answer the phones. Because I value my teeth, I will no longer be ordering from China King.

I was excited to read the great reviews and waited patiently for my order to arrive because I just knew it would be amazing… Unfortunately, it was a big disappointment. The sesame chicken was hard, overcooked pieces smothered in sauce. The egg foo yong was burnt on one side and the gravy with it was tasteless and yellow. They gave me shrimp fried rice instead of the vegetable fried rice I ordered. This would not have been a big issue except that my stepdad is allergic to shrimp. I did enjoy the crab rangoon but the spring rolls were just okay. I wanted to like this place but the food was far from the descriptions I read in the previous reviews.

Got this delivered to our hotel in Sarasota and it was like being back on Long Island! Who knew you could get NY style Chinese food here?! Much better than any Chinese food we had in Denver and I would argue we still have not found better Chinese food in Miami… although I am sure it is out there, and I haven’t given up hope! Anyway this place is solid, I wish it was close to me because I would get it all the time.

Good New York style Chinese food that we got delivered to the hotel room at the suggestion of the front desk. Everything was as it should be. Good take out Chinese is relatively hard to find. It’s been over a year since I’ve had any I would describe as «good». The boneless spare ribs were perfect, really. It’s cheap and it tastes good. What else do you need from delivery Chinese???

A winner of take-out Chinese food taste quality, price, customer service, and speed! I asked them to fax me their menu and received it within minutes even though it was so close to lunch time. They called me back a minute after I got the fax to make sure that I had. One look at their lunch specials and I was sold. Very good prices on many normal take-out foods like General Tzao’s and sesame chicken. They offered free delivery, but I wanted to check the place out myself. They called me en route to tell me my order was ready, 15 minutes after I had ordered it. This obscurely placed eatery hides in the shadow of a poor competitor, the Asia buffet(don’t go there, it’s not worth your money). The tiny take-out restaurant looked clean and they boxed up my food in an appreciative way for the average Joe who often gets take-out. The manager was kind and seemed happy to be doing business. I always love someone who seems to be happy in their place of work. The food itself was probably the best Chinese take-out I’ve ever had. I’ve had some stuff that came close to this, but their fried pork rice was sooo good and flavorful, I know I’ve never had take-out rice that good before. I got the beef and broccoli and loved their sauce. My co-workers ordered General Tzao’s and the sesame chicken. I tried the sesame chicken and it was good too. They use just the right amount of sauce so the chicken isn’t dry and overly fried-doughy. The lunch special also comes with an egg roll, which was still hot and typical of an egg roll. All this was $ 4.50 a
