Bonefish Grill

Who knew they had brunch on Saturday and Sunday morning. Not only brunch but all you can drink mimosas for $ 19.99. That is a great deal in my book. the brunch menu is limited but enough choices to find something you would like. They also have sangria and balini drinks to go with the mimosas. You can switch off if you decide you want to try a different flavor. The drinks are strong so make sure you have someone to drive you home haha. For brunch I decided on the the California omlete with asparagus. I wasn’t expecting much because it isn’t really a breakfast restaurant, but I was pleasantly surprised with how tasty it was. The service was great the waiter always made sure we had everything we needed and that our mimosas were always full. I will stop back any weekend I have off cannot beat the price.

Dissapointed on Mother’s Day :(we fly in every year from Europe and always go to bonefish grill because we’re used to great service and amazing food. Sadly enough today was very disappointing.
We had a reservation and were seated on time in the corner of the restaurant. At first I thought this was fine because we have a 6 year old who tends to get loud. It turned out to be the ’ we’re going to forget about you’ corner.
First round of drinks took 15 minutes to get there. 20 minutes after sitting down we had our bread and the server took our entrée order. We both ordered the sirloin medium well and our daughter got fish strips.
After another 15 minutes we ordered another round of drinks. 50 minutes in we finally got our main course and drinks. The steaks were dry and well done. Green beans overcooked and the French fries were almost cold.
I was still eating my main course when the server comes over and asked if I wanted dessert… and after that our second round of drinks got served which we ordered 15 minutes before.
I understand it’s busy and you would like to seat other people. However you let us wait that long for an overcooked meal and then almost rush us through it… not cool.
We skipped dessert and took off ASAP…
Definitely not what we expect from bonefish we’ll see if we’re going back next year.

Our service has always been excellent. The menu includes both fresh fish and enough non-​fish entrees for those like my wife who prefers meat dishes. The gracious proprietor, David Potter, makes sure that we are happy with our meal and service. While there are many Bonefish around, this certainly does not feel like a chain restaurant thanks to the menu and a service oriented staff.

Our first visit to this restaurant was a good news-​bad news combination. We had been to a Bonefish restaurant in the Chicago area and had a great experience. This Bonefish was not the same. The faux reservation system had us waiting at least 45 min. The wait line was out the door when we arrived. We sat at the bar area, hoping to eat sooner. Not a good idea. Service was dismal and inattentive. The
food was good including the order of bang bang shrimp.
I saw 2 instances where diners were sending food back to the kitchen not sure why, but not a good sign.

Excellent meal with great service! Recommend bang bang shrimp as a starter. Group of 4 enjoyed excellent food and drinks, great service — wonderful night out, as always — never disappoints!

This is my first time visiting Bonefish Grill. I flew in from Utah and it looked like it might be an OK place to try. The menu looked pretty good and I decided to go with the bacon wrapped scallops appetizer which was the special for the month. I also had their pompano and a bowl of corn chowder.
The server was a nice guy who took me thru the menu and showed me around. My scallops and soup came out almost too fast. The scallops were over cooked with the bacon around the outside quite crispy. It almost seemed as though they had it sitting up under a heat lamp and they were so excited that somebody ordered it so they could get it out on a table and not have to throw it away.
The corn chowder was just OK. I had barely started in on my soup and scallops when I saw an expediter bringing a plate of food towards my table. She quickly turned around and went back to the kitchen with the plate. My server came back to the table about a minute later and asked me how the appetizers were. I told him they were just OK and suggested that they not bring my entrée out after it had been sitting under a heat lamp. He laughed and said that he would make sure they cooked one up fresh since I was a first timer and in from out of town. Not three minutes later another expediter brought my pompano out! It was overcooked and dry! They stuck it right up under that heat lamp and warmed it up good. Interestingly enough the au gratin potatoes were barely lukewarm. Green beans were fantastic so they’ve got that going for them. I would never go back to the Bonefish Grill but the server sent out what he called a «Floor Walker» and that gentleman ended up comping my entire meal. I thought that was a great gesture and promised that I would give them another chance.

Good food at fair prices. I’ve been going here for years, and this bonefish has always been delivering good food with friendly service. It is also always been very clean. Do be aware that the restaurant is overcrowded during special deals (i.e. Bang bang Wednesday) and peek hours.

Went here with my boyfriend and his family on our way to a lacrosse game. They ordered some appetizers, and I don’t like seafood, so I ordered chicken fingers and fries. Let’s just say– they’re probably more known for their seafood. Chicken was not good, and it was cold, and the fries tasted like they came from the freezer section in Publix. My boyfriend’s family enjoyed their food, though.

This Used to be one of the best places in town, consistently getting worse and worse across the board.
I’ve been eating at this bonefish location since its inception and get take-​out from here at least 3 times a month. For years it was great! Consistent food and good service kept me coming back often. But over the past 3 or so years it has been slowly going downhill.
There is an error with my take-​out orders about 30% of the time, and the food is lackluster. However the wait staff is still usually very good. Unfortunately corporate restaurants typically don’t stay great forever and bonefish is a perfect example.

One of my favorite restaurant in the area. Very disappointed with my meal on my last visit.
Tried pompano special which our waiter recommend.
Fish was dry, overcooked, and tasteless. No sauce.
Should have sent it back but restaurant was crowded and I would have had to wait too long. Also entrée arrived while I was in the middle of my salad.
I will try this place again but stick to the main menu and avoid specials.

Again if I can help or Judy pls doesn’t hesitate to ask been there now maybe 7 times — they know the menu as it changes a lot — it’s all fresh I eat at the bar mostly — drinks are great — I would recommend this Bone Fish Grill — I love on the island and it closes up 8:30 — bone fish serves till 10:15

I usually enjoy BoneFish Grill, but the «reservation system» may as well be eliminated.
As I stepped up to let the hostess know I had an 8 pm reservation made weeks in advance, the gentlemen before me was told that without a reservation his wait would be 65 minutes. Well, 65 minutes later, we was still sipping cocktails on a outside bench waiting on a table. I was seated 75 minutes after my arrival– 9 pm! (By then the lobby was nearly empty)
The servers are great, trying to keep you happy, and the food is fairly tasty– but I felt abused on our time and will have to take a very long break before I consider another «reservation» here.

I love the consistently good service and food at Bradenton Bonefish. I have been going there for years and can honestly say I have never had a bad meal. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. They make everyone feel special.
The cocktails are creative and delicious. I love trying something new every time I go. The latest one I tried is the Kiwi Smash – out of hand good! I love the little touches that make this restaurant feel more like a local restaurant than a chain – chocolates on special occasions, artwork on my take out bag, people that know your name, and new and creative dishes popping up alongside all my favorites.
Though the shrimp, steaks, and lobster are always a good choice, the new misoyaki sea bass is to die for – a must try!

I love this Bonefish Grill! I have been to many in the area and around the state and this one stands out. Excellent service & delicious food. It has the consistency of a chain restaurant and the authenticity of a local seafood place. The atmosphere is great and the hours are awesome, as well. It’s one of the only restaurants in Bradenton that serves quality food into the late night (10:30 most nights). The cocktails change seasonly and are always interesting and tasty. My personal favorite is the Cucumber Margarita. If you haven’t tried the bang bang shrimp, then you haven’t lived! All in all — highly recommend!

A bit pricey but the quality of food is well worth it. However the drink prices are way over priced considering the size of the glasses and the ½ glass of wine. A bottle price is also ridiculous!
All things considered we do frequent here a lot, it is close to home and the food is creatively prepared. The wait staff are spot on, as the bartenders lack attention!

In the last year this place as been going down. The food is not as good, the portions are smaller, the food gets to us cold way to often, the service if you are lucky to get the very few good waiters they still have here you will have good service otherwise just decent service. Tonight we tried the lobster roll that made it to the menu $ 16.50 (little expensive) roll still delicious but sadly the lobster meat was mixed with to many big chucks of salad and celery and not enough mayo or seasoning. I hope that everything will get better soon ! It used to be a wonderful restaurant !. Will still give them a chance, I really love the innovative menu !

Food was good. Nothing special. Service was average at best. Wait to get served and get our food was way too long. Been there twice and won’t go back.

Lousy place to take kids. They were out of crayons and don’t serve root beer. They also didn’t have yellow mustard. I’m not much for the chain restaurants and do not plan on revisiting this lousy restaurant ever again.

Waited months to finally come and I am so disappointed. Food was blah and service… let’s just say I had to steal cutlery from another table.
