Seriously needs an overhaul. The food is mediocre it seems like it used to be better. Maybe I have grown tired of it. However, my biggest complaint is with the staff. They seemed annoyed that I was there. I stepped up to the counter to order and no body acknowledged I was there. When I asked if I could order they acted like I was interrupting something more important. I think I was not cool enough for them…

Not great. Not much flavor. Bland flavors. Wouldn’t recommend for good Mexican food. Burrito shop, not a Mexican restaurant.

Subpar burritos went once and never went back. You’re better off going to qudoba or five on black.

Killer burritos! I will always order the wrap of Kahn and I will never get sick of it. If you like spicy food, add a line of stash to your burrito and you won’t be disappointed. The staff are friendly and quirky… tip em’ on the way out.

I’ve been coming here for nearly a decade and finally decided to write a review. The place has certainly declined over the years, not so much in food quality as the recipes and ingredients have remained pretty consistent. But people come here as much for the atmosphere and that is where things are starting to slip hard. The employees used to be full of enthusiasm, positive energy and generally very jovial. Not so anymore, things are becoming sterile due to a mostly apathetic crew behind the counter. I don’t know if I’m getting old and grumpy or this new generation of wrap masters(they don’t wrap well anymore either) just wishes to be doing something else entirely, but I hope management turns things around to how things used to be. However, I’d still rather come here on the worst day than patronize Qdoba or the soon to be opened Chipotle.

Nice atmosphere. Classic university area burrito setting. Great choices of classic and«fusion» favors. Many meats and«sauces» as well. Very nice folks helping you. Good prices for a burrito that left me in a food coma. I’ll recommend this place and come back!

I ordered the Blackened Wild Salmon Fusion Burrito. It tastes excellent! I love the combo of the ingredients. Definitely hit the spot. The reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because the female workers had their hair all over the place. One of them had bangs covering her eyes and a long strand hanging down towards the food. So, great food but the employees looked like they just rolled out of bed.

We were camping on Bozeman and wanted to get away from the campground for a while. I’m gluten-free and they put the burrito contents in a bowl without the wrap. My husband had the Alfredo Burrito and I had the Santa Fe. So, so, so good! The fusion of Mexican, Indian, Italian, etc at this place is amazing. We loved it so much we went back the day we were leaving town. The folks that work here are kind and excited about their food. Eat here! You won’t regret it.

Great cut and great guys. I had no expectations going into the shop. I just needed a haircut. I left feeling like I knew the guys and know that my hair was fresh. I’m not a fresh kind of person but I sure do enjoy a great community and this seemed to hit the spot. For now on, whenever I need a haircut or a beard trim, this is the place I’ll be going to.

La Parilla has been one of my favorite places to eat in Bozeman for a long time. The quality of the food is great and the atmosphere is fun. It’s not an authentic Mexican restaurant, but more Mexican inspired American food. There is room to sit and eat both indoors and out, though I usually get my food to go. La Parilla is my go-to restaurant when I’m hungry for food higher in quality than fast food, but don’t have the time to go to a sit-down restaurant.

Better than Qdoba. Sign up for the rewards texts, you will get tons of $$ off food! If you are not from around Bozeman, you really have to pay attention to where the entrance is, as the building is set back from the street, and the sign is relatively small. It sneaks up on you, especially at night. They have fun combinations of foods that are definitely not hispanic. but thats not La Pa’s aim anyways. The tacos are my favorite, some classic steak and salsa in a shell. Gimme that any day. The food is definitely nothing to write home about, but the outdoor seating area is awesome if you have a dog, and the place is not in a «busy» location like main st. or in a new development. The atmosphere is cool, the staff are nice and chill, and I would choose it over another fast food taco/burrito place in town.

They are super creative, and the place has a fun vibe. Great options for people who like Mexican food fusion. We eat gluten/dairy free, so we had a curry burrito«bowl» with corn tortillas thrown in. Our daughter had the salmon bowl and loved it, too.

2.5 stars fusion is definitely an apt description, given that la pa is even more americanized than qdoba or chipotle. i really want to like this place, but i can’t get past the fact that my burrito was so wet that there was a pool of liquid 2 mm deep in my tray by the time i was done eating. the lettuce was old and limp, my steak had no seasoning, and i’m pretty sure the beans were straight from the can because they had absolutely no flavor. beyond that, the cooking/prep area was sloppy and the seating area cramped. I’m not a fan of big chains, but i’ll head to qdoba for a fresher, drier burrito when the craving calls.

This is an insanely popular place in Bozeman and with all the charm, it’s easy to see why. We loved the atmosphere(trendy/hippy, tiny, collegy) and we were starving after eight hours on the road, but the food was just okay. I wasn’t expecting any authentic Mexican, but I thought my chancho(shredded beef marinated in a verde sauce) fajita burrito, though fresh and lovingly made(also huge), was a bit strangely spiced — some kind of perfumey, un-Mexican spice dominated the beef. I hoped it would be at least mildly like chile verde but alas, not even close… though it was an interesting flavor and I did take my leftovers home. The beans and rice were good but a little bland as well. My husband ordered the BBQ steak and it was good — a little too smoky for me, but he loved it. Our baby had the bean and cheese burrito(a little steep at $ 5 but it was quite a bit of food) but the cheese wasn’t melted on it(just generic, dry shredded cheese) so it was pretty messy. Maybe next time I should try the Fettuccine Alfredo or some of the other crazy ones? Cheap but not dirt cheap like CA taco trucks — our total for two adults and one baby was $ 20. But the portion sizes are very generous. Seating is tight if it’s too cold to eat in the patio, but there are lots of stools at the bar on the walls. Good service, if a little cluttered and confusing sharing space with 3 at their tiny little counter(we had to repeat our order to three different people and didn’t know where to wait after paying.) They get through the line fast, which is good because there is always a line it seems. A good place for when you’re starving and if we came here again I’d go for the plainer, less weird burritos(steak and guacamole seem hard to mess up).

Fish tacos were breaded but slimy and overloaded with so much cabbage slaw that I couldn’t even taste the fish. The tortillas were insanely dried out. Husband had a steak burrito that was mostly flavorless rice. On top of that, the employees were brusque and seemed to be disgruntled working here.2 stars for decent salsa and fresh ingredients(other than the tortillas). Too bad they don’t know how to put together what is pretty simple food.

My all time favorite burrito/wrap/anything. Growing up in Bozeman, this place defined a good Burrito for me, and unfortunately, this definition is not agreed upon by literally anywhere else. I’m always disappointed with various similar joints here in Seattle, and must patiently wait my flight home to shove the glory, that is anything on this menu, into my mouth. Never hesitate if you’re craving some good food. This is the best. Although the steak buritos are orgasmic, I must say my all time favorite dish, possibly everywhere, but certainly in Bozeman, comes down to the Clam Chowder they serve durring the winter. I don’t know what it is, or where the hell I can get my own recipe for it, but my oh my is that the tastiest thing I have nearly ever put in my mouth. Served with the most fantastic fresh, still warm, tortillas. Damn. And damn Again. Super casual, and all the goodness.

My wife and I recently moved to Montana from California. I grew up in San Diego and she in Los Angeles, so Mexican food is in our blood. We’ve been on the hunt for a good burrito since we’ve moved here about a month ago and so far nothing. We had high hopes for La Tinga which disappointed big time for the burrito(pozole was good though) and so we had lowered our expectations but still had hopes for this place, what with all the good reviews. Long story short — if you know what a good burrito is, if you’ve had one in California or Texas, or anywhere with a good hole-in-the-wall Mexican joint, rest assured that you WON’T get a good, or even decent, burrito here. What you’ll get is something that looks a lot like a burrito, it will have rice, beans, meat, and some salsa in it, but it will not taste anything like a burrito. In fact it won’t taste like much at all. My wife and I got a side of jalapeños and had to keep stuffing our mouths with those to get any sensation of flavor from this thing. We’ve just about given up on Mexican food in Montana, specially in Bozeman. I’m sure if a few months we’ll get desperate and try another place but for now we’re laying low.

This place gets packed! Be prepared to not find any parking in their lot. The line was going out the door but it moves fast. Their menus are all over the walls which makes it impossible to see from the entrance way. Pretty much equivalent to a Chipotle or Qdoba. Average tacos and burritos. House hot sauce had a nice kick but overall, this place was nothing spectacular.
