After 5 and Weddings

Went here yesterday to get tux measurements for my 2 year old. Excellent service with a smile. Staff was friendly, professional and very quick! Got all his measurements done in under 5 minutes!

I had a great experience at After 5 this past weekend. Although I ended up going with a dress from a different store, Megan D. was wonderful to work with! My mom and I stopped by on Friday afternoon and they had time for me to try on dresses. We ended up having to leave pretty quickly and Megan D. came in early the next morning to let me try on dresses since they were already booked. She was so nice and helpful and I enjoyed working with her! I would recommend this store to anyone!

Our wedding was in Michigan last year, but my a lot of our groomsmen were from Montana so we chose After 5 and Weddings for the tux’s and men’s apparel. Their service was outstanding! They made sure everything was set and ordered, even shipping everything to Michigan with no extra charge! We had a last minute groomsman change and they were quick to accommodate and order what we would need. I would highly recommend this place for affordable rentals and great customer service!

Go in to try it on and the staff person is not happy with the fall of the cuff on my shoes. «Take off your pants!» (:-0…“I want to change the hemline”…

Overall, my experience here was really good. The girls who work there are really down to earth and friendly. I bought my dress in August 2011 and received it in April 2012, which was fine because I didn’t need it until August 2012. Their prices are competitive, but bridal is a very price controlled market so it doesn’t really matter where you go, since you’re going to pay basically the same price anywhere.
I had the alterations done by the lady they contract with and she did a great job. Listened to exactly what I wanted and my dress fit perfectly the day of.
If I had to complain about anything, it would be that they steamed my veil, but then stuffed it in the bottom of the dress bag. I didn’t realize until the morning of the wedding and by then it was a wrinkled mess. The wrinkles released a little before I had to walk down the aisle, but it was a good thing I wasn’t planning on wearing it for pictures. Also, some of the tuxes were mixed up (someone got someone else’s shirt x2) and one of them that they measured for didn’t fit. I would suggest that anyone getting tuxes FORCES the men to try them on beforehand so they can switch out non-​fitting pieces.
OVerall, I would recommend After 5 to other brides.

I did not buy a wedding dress here and I am nowhere close to being married.
BUT…
I accompanied my best friend here the other weekend while she bought a wedding dress. And what a great experience it was. Our consultant really listened to my girlfriend, and what she wanted in a dress, as well as encouraging her to try out things she might not like (and yes, she ended up liking those as well!)
We were able to get an appointment the day of, and our consultant was incredibly patient with the three girls and the bride-​to-​be, letting us play with accessories, letting the bride sashay around the store to her heart’s content, etc.
For being a small store in a small town, they have an impressive selection of gowns in a variety of prices, along with a wide array of bridesmaid dresses, formal dresses, and accessories.
