Sushi Bang Bang

My husband and I came there 4 times while staying in palm beach, we simply couldn’t find any decent alternative around. Such a lovely little Japanese place, cute décor, delicious sashimi and great service!!! I liked the presentation, every plate were coming with a flower and I love flowers !

Came here for lunch after getting acupuncture for the first time. I suppose you could say I felt pretty relaxed. This small gem has an intimate vibe, some outdoor seating. Awesome service, always!
They offer a tasty iced green tea beverage that, in excess of 2 or 3, will keep you up all night. I can tell you this from experience… They offer sweet & unsweet for the sugar-​conscious folks, a mixture of the two tends to be just right.
To start, try a fresh green seaweed salad or an avocado salad… Both are very refreshing! I’ve also had the miso soup which had good flavor, but nothing extraordinary. If you’re in the mood to splurge order the Bang Bang Bomb. It’s a «spicy» marinated scallop and avocado, two bombs for $ 12 and worth it.
My all time favorite roll: Sexy BB. Do it, you won’t regret it. My go-​to roll because I love eel: Dancing Eel roll. Spider roll is also great: the blue crab is always fresh. Another great roll with unique, sweet flavor: the Dezato roll, contains strawberries and nuts. My husband says the Black Dragon roll is «ohh yeahhh-​good.» I tend to stick with what I know, but the freshness of the fish/​sushi is what keeps me coming back. Sushi bang bang get a couple of fish deliveries daily, and that truly reflects in the quality of their product.

First time visiting and my wife and I stopped for lunch. Cozy and nicely decorated! Staff was very nice and attentive. Eel roll was a show stopper. awesome! My wife had the sushi/​sashimi combo lunch special. Nice portion and the fish was excellent! Planning a return trip very soon!

Wonderfully fresh sushi and sashimi, excellent Sui Mai and Gyoza. A fantastic staff that goes beyond «what can I getcha» and makes you feel at home in a specialized cuisine environment.
I love this place for lunch, in particular, as you can take your time but with fast service. Green tea and a couple of rolls makes my day without feeling stuffed.
Definitely worth going out of your way to enjoy more BANG in your sushi!

Cute location, mediocre sushi and bad service. Wasn’t terrible, but I wouldn’t go back.

My boyfriend and I order take out from Sushi Bang Bang all the time. Friendly staff, delicious sushi. We refuse to go anywhere else. Can be a little pricey depending on what you get, but totally worth it. So fresh! You’re not going to find better in Boynton.

If I could give 10 stars for convenience, I would. This place is in walking distance of my house and I can’t get enough; this is my go-​to sushi takeout heaven. Calling in my order, its always less than 20 minutes for pickup.
I’ve had multiple rolls and all have been delicious. Even my best friend that doesn’t like sushi will eat here, which is a huge deal. The Sexy BB roll and the Lobster Volcano have been my favorites, but my quick fix is the Black Dragon roll and a seaweed salad.
The price is a little higher than some other sushi places, but for convenience it’s worth it.

This place is great the miso soup was so good I had 2 bowls my friend had 3. Do yourself a favor and try this place

I’ve had sushi in NYC, San Diego, Miami… who knew Boynton Beach could be host to my favorite sushi place to date??? The rolls are creative, the fish is so incredibly fresh and tender, the presentation is simply elegant, the home made sauces are delicious! Haven’t had a single thing I didn’t like yet! Owners are always on site and pay close attention to every detail. Highly recommend trying Sushi Bang Bang. We travel from Boca Raton back up to Boynton for this amazing sushi!

Delicious sushi, great, friendly service. The only possible criticism I can give is that the place is a bit small, so you do feel a little cramped in.
My girlfriend and I have had a great experience both times we’ve eaten here, and it’s her new favorite restaurant. On my first visit, I almost went with the Dark Knight roll, but was told I should go with the crunchy shrimp roll because I’m a newb.
On my next visit, I went with the Bahama roll (conch, baby!) and the Deluxe JB roll.
My girlfriend always goes with the sexy… something roll (I forget the exact name), and it’s always the best one on our table.

Sushi Bang Bang was an experience that I’m happy to have had.

We opted for a table in the center of the dining room; a quaint two-​top with pillows on the chairs. (See photo I took of the table beside us.)
The waitress had been with the company since they opened, so she knew her stuff. Loved her efficiency, friendliness, and knowledge about the restaurant and menu.
We ordered a bottle of cold sake, another bottle of hot sake, sashimi appetizer, miso soups, and edamame to start. We opted for two sushi rolls from the special menu — The Dark Knight and the Bella roll. (I took a photo of the Bella roll!)
The Dark Knight was super unique — truly loved all of the flavors that seemed complex, but perfectly combined.
Bella roll was ‘fresh’ tasting — it was enjoyable as well. :)
The bathroom was pretty cool. At first, I walked in and the lights weren’t normal fluorescent ones, but rather blue and black (purple) lights. «Okay…» I thought, then when I went to wash my hands… they had a sweet LED faucet that made the water change to all colors of the rainbow as the water flowed out.
«Okay! That’s neat!» I said, then told my sister to go check out the bathroom and noted to ‘be sure to wash your hands’.
I felt this was indeed a pricy lunch venture, but for all of the food we ate and sake we imbibed, plus the great service… I’d be happy to eat at Sushi Bang Bang again.

First visit right at lunch time. Very quiet, staff was attentive, welcoming, and friendly. Service was quick and the food was great. I got a salmon roll, lunch special.

Way over priced for mediocre sushi. Publix makes better tasting sushi and would have cost me a ¹⁄₃ of the price.
I ordered a seaweed salad, and 3 regular rolls. There was more rice than anything else in my rolls and you could hardly tell there was fish in them. The wasabi was old and didn’t burn or taste like it should.
I got there at 5:45 on a Thursday and I was the only person in the restaurant. Th service was decent but I doubt I’ll go back again. It was $ 43 with tip for just myself.

Sooooo good! Service was kind of slow which was strange since we were the only ones there at first. Would definitely go back.

This is a sushi sushi place. A very limited menu for other items. The sushi is good, but most of the items are heavy in cream cheese and/​or aioli (mayo), which is okay if you like that but a little overkill for my taste. Open late is a plus, and the service, given we were one of two tables in the restaurant, was not bad. They pick up a star for having a few innovative things on the menu that most other sushi joints don’t.

First time here and tried 5 different specialty rolls. They were very delicous. I wanted to try the spicy tuna roll after seeing a few reviews that it was the best they ever had and i have to say that i agree!
Lychee martini was tasty and came with 3 fruits in it yum.
Definitely think this will be our new sushi spot.
The only cons were that the tables are so close to each other. We could have joined in on the conversation next to us. As we were leaving we saw tables on the other side that seemed more private so perhaps will sit there next time.
This place isn’t cheap, but id say about the same as any other sushi restaurant. The rolls were tasty and fresh and is worth a splurge every once in a while.
Will be back.

Been wanting to get my Bang, Bang on for awhile now and all the reviews seemed like this would be a good sushi place to try.
We were the only ones in the entire restaurant, so that should have been a sign. The restaurant itself was decorated very nice, with blown glass fish.
For the food however, it was decent but not worth it. We ordered the rainbow roll, shrimp tempura, seaweed salad and the bang bang soup. The rolls were extremely small for $ 14 & $ 12 and each roll had small portions of fish. Sushi Yama is still my favorite sushi restaurant here in WPB.

Best spicy tuna I have had in a looonng time! My daughter and I stop here after volleyball practice for a lite and healthy dinner. We love this place, the atmosphere and the pleasant people. Mexican roll is the best I have ever had, and I have tried many!

How did I miss this place? It’s on Gateway by i-​95 across from the Quantum Publix Plaza. I was tired of eating at the other sushi restaurants which are almost as fantastic with the food as Bang Bang’s. But Bang Bang’s interiors are actually finished than most and is colorfully decorated with interesting conversation pieces.
We started with the delicious miso soup that is actually the best I’ve had so far. The sushi we ordered was volcano roll and some other that I can’t remember but definitely do remember that all of it was absolutely delicious. Awesome food. Awesome service! Glad to have found a new sushi place!
