Nice pool hall. Price was very reasonable and the service was excellent. If I had to find anything to complain about, our table was a little unlevel. Will come back

I’m always looking for new places to take our office to on Friday afternoon for bonding activities. We usually end up at happy hour spots, but last week an employee suggested Slate.
It was great that they charged by the hour instead of per game. We were there for a couple hours and enjoyed their wide variety of beers (they even had cider!). Some of the guys had some wings. I wasn’t quite as adventurous, as I saw they only had a microwave and toaster oven to work with.
While the place is pretty run down and sketchy looking, it was clean and I appreciated that there was no smoking inside.
If you’re just looking to hang out and shoot pool, then this is your place, but don’t expect anything above that.
Tip — I was told that Wednesday nights are league nights and are packed, so I would avoid going on this night.

Decent selection of draft beer and wine. Tables are in good shape. On Tuesdays it is $ 15 for pool and unlimited Bud Light from 8 – 12. Also no smoking so you don’t come out smelling like an ash tray (but there are tables and chairs out front for smoking).
They also had one new Gold Crown V. If you like to play pool, this is a solid spot.
