I had to make a stop here on the way home today and it’s the usual Hallmark store you can find that is not in a mall. I always have liked the ones in the malls better since it seems like they have a lot more varieties. They had some cute stuff and I got a hot diggity dog figurine for one of my Mom’s birthday gifts. The collection of cards are always great at any Hallmark. The girl that checked me out was counting her money and she turned around to check her text message on her phone while the money was visible in front of me. I wasn’t in the mood to rob anybody, so I let it be. It wouldn’t surprise me if she doesn’t lose her job soon. Now, I know why there is usually an adult at the register.

Your standard overpriced Hallmark store. I had some friends work here over the years.
It’s always fun to find the most absurd cards. Like «congrats for coming out!» or «congrats on getting your driver’s license!» There are some things that just don’t need greeting cards.
