I have to say, I went here about 2 weeks ago. I am a 4 month old crocheter and I was looking for something different than what is sold in the Big Box Stores. Upon my arrival to the shop, I signed my name in on a sheet so I would be the next to be helped. Instantly I was greeted by an individual and I explained I was new to crocheting and wanted to see what else a «Small Knit Shop» had to offer. Imagine my disappointment when I was told that«Well, we don’t really cater to crocheters here, we are more of a knitting store. Would you want to learn to knit?» Um, no. I want to crochet. I feel that there are so many more possibilities in designs with crochet and knitting doesn’t offer that to me at my current skill level. That being said, I said«Well, you sell yarn, right? Crocheting still requires the use of yarn.» I was told that yes, they sell yarn and to take a look. The yarns this store sells are GORGEOUS, but I felt a little left out of the«crochet loop». I left feeling like a kid in school that just got admonished for chewing gum in class. Will I go back? Probably not. Knitting AND crocheting is a talent that should be supported and appreciated by a store that sells knitting needles, yarn, and crochet hooks in that tiny little alcove where the register is. Don’t think I didn’t see those out of the corner of my eye when you told me you didn’t «Cater to Crocheters.»

I like to visit this shop — they seem to be in tune to my hours and have some very pretty yarns. I bought one of the high-end mahogany ball winders and it’s stunning. This makes my sewing room looks so beautiful, so then I also had to have a wooden yarn bowl to match. I love that they have such unique things that I can’t find anywhere else. Sometimes I want something special and need a high-end wool, but sometimes I just need a quick and washable gift within a certain budget. If they don’t have a color I am looking for, they have no problem ordering it for me. GREAT sushi place next door too so I can bring a knitting friend for some yarn shopping then we can knit and have a lunch date. Makes for a nice day!

This shop is wonderful. Huge variety of different yarns from cotton to silk. We met the shop owner Debra and she was very helpful. We will be back soon!

I’ve been to this shop twice; the yarns are fabulous & the selection great. The women know their stock and their craft. I can’t believe I’ve found a yarn shop that is open Sunday’s & Monday’s. They get busy & ignored me the 2nd time I was there for several minutes then waited on someone who came in after I did.(Could it have been my mouthwash?)

This is a great Yarn Shop and I’m really surprised there are no reviews. I found it when I was visiting my father from Texas and needed some needles. I refuse to go to the big box stores and there’s not LYS in West Palm, so after a lot of searching we found KN. The owner is absolutely delightful, and everyone was super helpful and friendly. She has a huge stock of yarns! Please keep her going, she is a wonderful resource. I’m planning to go back this visit to father, just as an outing so I can visit again with the owner if she’s there.
