I don’t know of any place in Florida you’re going to get fresher seafood. I bought Gruper, cod and scallops. All were fresh and delicious

GOHERETOGETYOURFISH… NOT Capt. Franks!!! Very authentic, fresh, local fish and seafood! Go here to get the«real» fish market experience! You can pick out a fish and they will filet it for you, right on the spot. We loved it!!! Very friendly and patient staff! We just moved to the area, so we will definitely be regulars here!

An «old school» fish market on Federal in Boynton. Nice selection of fresh seafood at very competitive pricing(the large stone crab claws were $ 15/lb less than their competition in Delray). No frills, rotating selection depending on what the boats bring in. Friendly, patient, staff. **BONUS*** live blue crabs on most days– call ahead to confirm!

Best seafood you’re gonna find in this part of South Florida. Many of their choices are fresh, FL local and never frozen, just packed on ice. They carry a lot of seafood items that are hard to find, but here they are consistently fresh. Conch, octopus, clams, oysters, wild gulf shrimp, stone crabs and spiny lobster. Selling literally every species of fish Florida has to offer, you wont be disappointing with the quality, freshness, and selection here.

This is a wonderful fish market. The staff is very knowledgeable and courteous. They have tons of local fish. Maria has helped me the couple of times I have been there and she is delightful. The only downside of the place is it smells very fishy, but hey it is a fish market.

I’m visiting from Washington DC in hopes that they have some blue crabs for my good seasoning from our DC Wharf that I brought just for some crabs. I will be in tomorrow so please don’t say no. Looking forward to seeing those blue crabs…

After my first visit I was hooked. I picked up some nice Yellowtail Snapper to fry and live blue crab to steam in some Old Bay. Walked in and saw whole fish on ice… a lot and an amazing all local variety. Will never go anywhere else to buy seafood!

Ok; so I ate some of the fish that I bought from here last night. By far some of the freshest tasting fish I have ever bought from anywhere. Even after I vacuum packed and froze the fish after buying the taste was fresh caught taste. I am a fisherman myself but when I can’t go this will be this place I go to get some. I’ve bought fish from whole foods in the past and have been disappointed but don’t have to worry about that anymore. If what I bought was an example of what they sale, whole foods won’t be getting any more of my business. Only better if I would have caught it myself!

If you want Fresh Seafood this is the Place to go. Last time we had the Yellowfin Tuna and Middle-neck clams. Both were fresh and both made awesome dinners! I wasn’t going straight home so they put it all on ice so it would stay nice and cold. The owner Tim and his staff are super friendly and very helpful. Will be back again soon. I highly recommend the Fish Depot!

Fish Depot is simply an awesome store. People working there are super friendly and helpful. The variety of whole fresh fish is unbelievable. The store is set up as a real fish market with the fish covered with ice and you can actually pick it yourself. The Floridian ocean has a lot to offer and you can find it right there in the store. I couldn’t imagine there are so many snapper species you can indeed buy there and many other peculiar or well known fishes that wait in the ice to be chosen. Once you have your fish selected the guys will clean it or fillet it for you, so your only task is to pick the best recipe and prepare to your liking. They also have blue crab and stone crab during season, and many other wonderful sea treats and I just love every one of my visits to Fish Depot.

Perfect place to pick up some fresh seafood and the fixings around it! For a tip, they will also clean and filet the fish you’ve purchased as well! Prices are very reasonable and meet the quality of restaurant-style choices.

OMG, so what. . is Boynton Beach the secret capital of Seafood or something? MAN!!! So Captain Frank’s closed early today for reasons he may not even know about. So I get onto Unilocal and find this place. .. hmmmm. . could there be TWO great seafood places in Boynton? YES! Okay, first, put a clothes pin on your nose because after all, it IS a fish market. .. kinda ewwww. .. BUT. . when you see the tables of FRESHFISH packed in ice, all your fears will disappear! A huge selection of FRESH fish. Just pick one out and buy it whole, or have the monger chop it to your liking! I bought a couple dozen little necks and an giant yellow jack that they cut up for me. GREATPRICES!!! Thanks Captian Frank for closing early so I could find this place! And thank you Unilocal for having this place listed. .. .. even though no one has reviewed it until NOW!
