My expectations: great service from start to end My situation: water heater burst = flooded condo. I needed a new one quickly. Called DiMartino and my message was returned a couple hours later. Anthony offered to replace my water heater the next day which was excellent. After getting my husbands approval to go with the company that charged a little more(DiMartino) but seemed efficient, I confirmed the appointment. I was called the following morning to let me know the techs were stuck in traffic, which was no issue and I appreciated the effective communication. Unfortunately that’s where the great communication stopped– leading to my 3 not 5 star review. The water heater replacement went fine however the old water heater was left behind on my front porch. I personally told the techs to wait before taking it because my insurance adjuster may want to see the actual unit. While the techs were installing the new unit, my adjuster shows up. So instead of removing the unit or at the very least calling me(which I requested be done at the end of the installation anyway) it was left. Approximately 20 minutes later, I spoke with the owner’s wife who said the techs couldn’t pick up the old heater because they were already too far. After I made the reasonable suggestion that someone pick it up at their convenience, Melissa said she would call me back. Fast forward 2 days later. I called and was told«oh I thought someone called you. Yea we can’t pick it up but Anthony says you can call a scrap company for it.» There was useless back and forth conversation with no compromise in sight. At their suggestion, I have called FIVE scrap companies, none of which will pick it up. I’m still stuck with a giant water heater outside my front door and now have to pay someone to remove it.

Excellent company, very responsive owner, courteous, helpful and fixed my problem. Will use them if needed in the future.
