My grandson and I go out to dinner every Friday night. He wants to go to the same 2 or 3 restaurants. So I have made a deal with him that every other week we go some place new. So this week we decided on Wah Bahs … We had watched Robert Irvine’s show and decided to go there. Not that he or I drink but there was a sign saying they were out of alcohol(not a good sign on the front door) but we went in and he started asking questions about the menu(we had checked it out on their web sight. No, they don’t have shrimp anymore, what is the soup of the day, she didn’t know but would ask, no they don’t have soup of the day anymore, what sides come with the. Brook trout, she took his menu and read it to him.(I am not sure she knew). So he orders the brook trout with green beans and corn on the cob, I ordered a philly steak sandwiches and a side salad. I was told to go the salad bar such as it was and get my own side salad. Can’t say I was impressed for what they charged. Then our dinners come, my grandson said the brook trout was good but the green beans were over cooked and to much bacon grease and the corn was a small cob(I think it was frozen corn) and had no flavor. My philly steak sandwich was very salty and the green peppers had a very funky flavor. Not sure if they were just old peppers or something else but I did not like the sandwich and did not even come with fries. The total bill was $ 31.00 and I really feel disappointed with the quality of the food. We won’t be back. Sorry Robert but your make over fell very short of its mark.
