I eat out frequently and this is the first time in over 20 years where I’ve received such horrible service! We had a large party of 22 people(adults and kids). We had 2 servers. One provided good customer service and the other provided disgraceful service. Firstly, we waited 30 minutes to get our drink orders, when some of our drinks came out it didn’t include the kids drinks! How do you not put small children(age ranges 2 – 9) orders in first before the adults! On top of waiting another 45 mins for our food to come out, some of the dishes we ordered wasn’t cooked properly I.e. Pizza and burger were not cooked. Server appeared disorganized and discombobulated working with a large party. The server also brought one check after we had finished. After we told her its 3 separate checks! Ok, so she went back again and corrected it and returns with separate checks. I then gave her my credit card to pay my bill. Waitress returns to the table and hands me a bill to sign. Never gave back my credit card! I didn’t realize until I got home. Now have to travel a long distance to retrieve my card! Not everyone can handle big groups and this waitress is one of them! I will never dine here again, poor customer service.

i love this ruby Tuesday!!! i always order the mini burgers with fries or grilled tilapia with rice & broccoli. salad bar is SOOOOOOO worth it every time. the strawberry cheesecake is AMAZING!!! addicting!!!

Salad bar was a little skimpy. The food overall seemed to be less fresh than I expected. Chicken too dry and overlooked. The salmon was tasty but a bit salty.

My wife and I waited 5 minutes for a hostess to come up front to seat us, they were not crowded at all. After being seated we waited 20 minutes for a server, never got one so we left. They don’t deserve the 1 start rating I gave them because they actually didn’t do anything. We ended up going to Longhorn and had a great meal. Chili’s, On the Border and Applebee’s are close by, the Town center is also close. Follow up 1 — I initially wrote this review because I previously sent a comment to Ruby Tuesdays on their webpage, I got an automated response. Included in the response was the following statement: «Please know that every message submitted is personally addressed by a member of our service team, and we promise that a Ruby Tuesday representative will be back in touch with you as soon as possible.» Well, they didn’t contact me so I went to Unilocal.After posting on Unilocal,Ruby Tuesday commented on Unilocal that they would like to hear about my experience; so I commented again and still have not herd back from them. Follow up 2 — Happy to say that I recently received an email from Ruby Tuesdays, we ended up taking my mom to the Greenbelt store on Sunday for her birthday, we had a very good meal there, actually we have always had good service at the Greenbelt location but I’m not ready to go back to the Bowie location.

I like Ruby Tuesdays but wish they would not change the menu quite so often. You find something you like and BAM, it’s gone. We stopped at this one at 7 in the evening on a Sunday. They had no Hostess and apparently were very short handed. Our waitress informed us that she was responsible for the one half of the restaurant and had a larger party on the other side and asked us to be patient. We placed our order which took probably about an hour to come out, never received our appetizer(asked about it twice) and finally got out about 10 pm. If Ruby Tuesdays wants business, they need to hire more staff. I have noticed this location going down hill and I may need to change to a different place.

Service was good but the food was mediocre. I had the top sirloin, cooked medium. Too chewy. I asked for scotch rocks and apparently the bartender didn’t know how to pour one, so I got two glasses, one with a shot of scotch and another filled to the brim with ice. SMH.

I like Ruby Tuesday so I come here occasionally. Before coming here please know the staff is super relaxed(some even rude). Almost relaxed to the point that you can feel like you’re at a hip hop house party. While the food is good, it’s definitely as far from a fine dining atmosphere as you can get. #Ghetto

Recent ate here and was very disappointed. Restaurant smelled like dirty dish water upon entering. Ordered bbq chicken flat bread which was awful; chicken pieces were dried out and were grey in color and looked like they had been sitting out for hours before being put on the pizza. Then ordered chicken tenders which were incredibly greasy. My companion ordered a burger and there was a hair on the bun. When we told the manager, he looked at us like we were making up the story as if we’d placed it there ourselves instead of just apologizing and asking if we wanted something else. Used the excuse that all of the cooks were bald. We explained that’s nice, but we don’t have blond hair, so it didn’t come from us. Will not eat here again.

I was seated behind the bar. The glass was nasty and look sticky like they’ve never been wiped down. I ordered anyway, while waiting one of the lady working there was complaining about her niece using her and blah blah blah loudly… unprofessional. My New Orleans Seafood took about 20mins to come out so I was happy about that. My sides were Asparagus and rice pilaf… it was so good, so good that I started to give this location 5stars even with the dirty sticky glass in the booth and the loud waiter. But she continue to complain and even got a coworker to chat it up with about it. I ended up putting on my headphones so that I could enjoy this delicious plate.

Usually the service is great although the food is a mess or hit the time that I have gone The food has been on the cold side but the server had no problems taking you back and having them remake it to be piping hot so for this I have no complaints the rating would be higher if the food came out instead of me having to send it back I don’t drink but the people are usually go with do and they are usually pretty happy from what I can tell with their mixed drinks

I did not wrote a review after my first visit, thinking it was just a ‘one off’ experience … I was wrong! Between the dirty floors and lack of knowelable staff, we left after a 20 minute wait and never actually placed an order. We were ‘instructed’ they do not follow the late night $ 5 menu and all orders would be at menu price, then the waiter took our drink order and returned 20 minutes later with our drinks, at this point we just left. Won’t return to this location !!!

I stop in after a long vacation for a quick appetizer/wine and take home dinner. While sitting I like to observe management inner action with staff. I must say they have a great team and the dynamic is refreshing. I saw no lacking from staff with customers, manager complementing staff and staff was very, very friendly and a pleasure to talk too. When we got home my husband said the food was really good. I will definitely visit this Ruby Tuesday again because of James Brown, CheChe and Kevin!

Good freshly stocked and maintained clean salad bar. Some ruby Tuesdays are sloppy but this one keeps an eye on it. Over the past year the service has gotten better as well and the vibe is better in there because of it.

It pains me to write this review. One reason is because this Ruby Tuesday’s is my go-to bar. Normally the service is on point; however, it wasn’t today. Another reason is that I am tired of crappy service in this region, especially when there are three bartenders working and it takes 15 minutes for a Jack and Ginger refill. Lastly, this chain seems to employ people who are either too concerned with socializing with each other than actual service. The front of the house was virtually empty, less than 20 people. The bar area where my family and I sat had less than 15, which included the four of us. The kids’ food arrived timely so did my appetizer. So far, so good. When it came to my Jack and Ginger, it took awhile. When it came, it was way too sweet to be a J&G. Thus began another wait for two of three bartenders to fix make the drink right. Finally it came. It was right. But my wife’s cosmopolitan was not only skinny, when she didn’t ask for it to be, but also it tasted horrible. By now I waited for my Carolina Chicken Salad and my wife waited for her bunless bacon cheddar burger with mayo on the side. Not only did I finish my drink and had to wait for water, but when my food came the salad was warm, bland, and lacked the crispness of a finely made salad. And to add my wife’s burger was missing the bacon and the cheddar and the mayo. But what really killed me was when two of three of the bartenders served drinks to certain guest but not to others. I wasn’t sure if some of them are regulars but my money spends like everyone else’s. As the bar began to crowd, the service did pick up. So began another wait to pay our bill. Unfortunately, I didn’t both to complain to the manager because from the looks of things this seemed the norm. I doubt I will return, and it’s a shame. I really liked coming here.

OMG Everything was just WONDERFUL! From the minute we walked in the door!!! It was kinda funny at first soon as we walked in door the electric went out! But it was 100 degrees out that day and it was only noon! So Bowie MD. Was in overload! Everywhere & everybody had there air cond. running full blast! But are server said no worries just go to Salad Bar and she would get our drinks! She said soon the electric will be on! And she was right! And she took our order! Our server was so sweet! She was right on top of everything! I was with my 92 year old Dad and we go out to lunch a lot because I take him to doctors apps. Every week just about so we eat out a lot for lunch! But I have to say we have seen some really bad service in a lot of places! The Ruby Tues. in Waldorf MD. Is the Worst! We go there a lot cause like Salad bar but never had good service ever! And in fact there salad bar is not all that now that we ate in Bowie MD. I want to Thank Lil Miss Mackenzie for making our lunch so enjoyful! We will be back again and will for sure ask for you!!! Thanks again!!!

I really want to like Ruby Tuesday. The salad bar is always a hit, the beer selection is unusual for a chain, and they tend to have healthy-er and vegetarian options.
Unfortunately this location was a big disappointment. We got a table around 6 pm on a Sunday. We were seated right away by a hostess then ordered our drinks with our first waitress, but were served and attended by another. Obviously they couldn’t coordinate our order because our drinks came out late and at different times. We had to flag down someone to get the water we asked for. When my boyfriend asked for a beer, our waitress had to walk back and forth to the bar to ask if they had it. Nope. When he asked about another, they didn’t have that either. When he finally settled on something, it didn’t arrive until we were nearly done with our meal. Our server was not apologetic or even personable. And speaking of the food, my dish was salty and overseasoned and surprisingly small. He enjoyed his burger. But the whole fiasco with three attendants and our belated drinks really has us disappointed. I think this is the last time we visit a chain restaurant again.
