Stopped by last night to check out their selection, from out of town and was looking for a few Magic cards. We showed up at around 8:15pm to a store with about 8 people playing a game I didn’t recognize. We asked to see their cards and they directed us to their selection. After just a few seconds the guy at th counter, very nicely, came up to us to inform us they are only open till 8 today, so they technically had closed 15 mins ago. Immediately we were about to leave when he said we could hang out for a few minutes till the other people playing their game were finished. Looking through their stuff found a few things I wanted and will be going back today, during store hours to find what else I can. Good little store with a decent selection and friendly staff. My kind of place and look forward to heading back soon.

My family went to a close restaurant that was in the same strip mall and was excited to see this store nearby. We joked that this place was going to be dessert. Walked in and saw a small, but decent inventory of games. The area was well lit and looked clean. There was about 20 players on three tables, two in the back and one near the door that made getting to some areas difficult. Everyone was sitting and actively involved with games. We walked around quite a bit. No one said hi and I couldn’t even tell who the owner was. I didn’t see the game we were looking for but picked up a copy of Fleet to buy. Walked to the counter and waited for someone to stand up or at least ask if they could help us. Nothing. I felt like I was interrupting a tournament or walked into a club house. I looked at my phone and after 14 minutes of being in there, we decided to leave. After I put the game back and walked out, I did see a man start ringing up another player who was buying a Magic box. It just felt odd. Being the only ones standing and anyone could tell that we were a new family to the store, I was just really disappointed in their service. While my daughter and I go to game stores, this was one of the first for my wife. Maybe this was just a really bad time, but I don’t think I’d go back.

Tremendous selection of board games, card games and just about anything else you can think of. Owners Craig Lucas and Josh fozzard really have built a nice local gaming store and playing environment. They are super helpful in helping you locate a game you’d like to purchase. Don’t have it in Stock? Not a problem. They can order it. Would like something new and no ideas as to what you might want to pick up? Ask! They have wonderful suggestions! During week days, you will find a handful of gamers usually willing to play a pickup game of magic or a new board game. Josh and Craig have a bunch of demo games to play too of you would like to try before you buy. Weeknight have themed nights. They have board game night, magic the gathering, D&d, pathfinder, and then FNM for you MTG players. Saturday and Sunday are Yu-Gi-Oh tournament days. So come on in. Check it out.
