Stayed here a couple nights ago on our way from Las Vegas to Spokane. It was about midnight. I looked up a few places on Unilocal.I called and the manager on duty was very pleasant and gave me a small discount due to how late it was and rooms available. He encouraged me to stay. Super nice guy. Very happy we did. When we checked in he warned us that the room on the freeway side. He gave us earplugs just incase. Din’t need the earplugs. Very comfortable. The bed was great. Rooms all new and very clean. Slept the best I have slept in a long time. Complimentary breakfast the next day worked well. Not fancy but very sufficient. Hard boiled peeled eggs, Waffles(plain and blueberry) canadian bacon, egg(patties) and assortment of bagels, pastries, toast. Juices, good coffee, hot and cold cereal. Very Happy! Thank you so much.

My husband and I stayed at Country Inn and Suites for two nights. The service at the counter was great. The rooms were clean. but the issue we had was the road noise from the highway. We were in a room on the third floor. With the highway noise and people stomping and running around upstairs on the fourth floor. made it very hard to get a goodnight’s rest. It’s a nice hotel but I would not stay on the lower floors. if you want a goodnight’s rest. stay on the fourth floor.

Very comfortable hotel that fills most of your traveling needs. Easy booking and check in process. Overall clean facility with many modern updates. Pool, fireplace and meeting room available. Staff very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Would of given this place 4 stars based on staff, cleanliness and the unique separation of sleeping area from living area by a lockable door… but, we were on the freeway/train track side(the back of hotel) and the noise level was a major distraction while trying to sleep. And the continental breakfast is the same ol stuff you get anywhere, and breakfast room is very cramped, but filled you up in a pinch. We were there for a major refinery turnaround and could not move rooms as they were booked. I would stay here again, but only on the condition I was able to get a room on the front of the hotel. DONOTSTAYONBACKSIDEOFHOTEL if you are a light sleeper.

Very friendly with the service and amenities that are expected at Country Inn. Breakfast area is a bit small, and the location can be loud during the day, but overall a great choice if you need to stay north of downtown.

We last stayed at this hotel in January 2009. Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Great breakfast. Nice location off Interstate 15. The GM LeAnn Wilson is the best. She is responsive and wants nothing but the best for her guest.

O.K. I’m going to take my time and be rational as I can. I was sent to SLC for some job training. I had a reservation for this place. Everything was great until the second day I was there. Apparently, both hot water boilers crapped out at the same time. I had 4 more days to be there and now, no hot showers. The manager tried real hard to be accomodating, even offering to take me to his house and use his shower. He offered this after I posted a pretty angry post here on Unilocal.I took down the original post so I could be more reasonable and fair to them. They offered me 2 passes to a local rec center which had showers as well. The other thing going on here that I didn’t like was that I had distinctly asked for there to be no housekeeping at all.. I don’t need the bed made or fresh towels every day. I like my stuff set up just so, and that’s it. The second day I was there, housekeeping had obviously been in my room. Everybody was really nice and very apologetic, but this does not lessen the fact that I could not take a hot shower. I guess I don’t understand how a place like this does not have a back up plan for situations such as this. How can you allow broken hot water boilers to go offline for even one day, let alone 3? They were supposed to be up and fixed by Friday, but I just left a day early and headed to Grand Junction on my way back to Denver. I want to be fair and reasonable, as everyone was so nice to deal with and so much wanted to do something about it, but for whatever reason could not. I would stay there again, just on the east side away from the rumbling freight trains and highway noise.

I travel a lot and I had one of the best experiences in this hotel on our recent family vacation! I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant hotel that will surpass your expectations! ALL of the staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. We received a voice mail on our room phone that welcomed us by name and advised us to let anyone know if there was anything that could be done to make our stay more enjoyable, etc. The breakfast was one of the best hotel meals that I have experienced and my kids loved the complimentary cookies for sure!!! Loved this hotel and all of the staff!

Excellent value, friendly staff, spacious well appointed room. Good pool. Good breakfast including fresh waffles. Lots of convenient shopping and restaurants nearby. Only nits are some freeway noise and I wish there was some dimmable lighting in the room. Wish there were more affordable hotels like this one.

Definitely will stay here again when in Bountiful. The room was clean, bed comfortable and the breakfast offering was outstanding(eggs, meat, oatmeal, cereal, waffles, fruit and yogurt… every single day!). Next time I would request a room on the front side of the hotel, as the backside is right along the freeway and I could hear it and see it all night long. The curtains were shear which is odd to me… Good thing I wasnt trying to sleep in! My only other complaint would be the shower head — while the water pressure was good and hot, the placement is low and I had to bend back to get my neck wet(and therefore my hair)… it is very inconvenient. Im very picky about that… now-a-days it is not hard or expensive to have an extended shower head for the taller guests(I’m 5’9) See you next time!

This hotel is probably one of the best values I’ve found in hotels in a while. The staff is super friendly and the rooms are clean. The free cookies and fruit are a nice touch. The free breakfast is pretty average, but it is free. The free shuttle to Lagoon is fantastic! Buy your tickets at the front desk and save money! The only negative was the loud people upstairs. It is a kid friendly hotel so expect the very loud pitter patter of feet.

This is just about as good as a 3-star hotel can get. The woman at the front desk was friendly and offered me cookies and apples. Nice. She even called up to our room to see if we needed anything. They have free wifi. There was a small fridge and microwave in the room. Awesome. Free breakfast is a great bonus. Our view of the mountains was beautiful! The furnishings were all obviously updated very recently.

Dad and I had a wonderful stay here. We drive to and through the SLC area quite a bit… and our experience at this hotel was the very best one we’ve had in Utah. That’s saying a lot. The location is EXTREMELY convenient, especially if you want to go north on the highway. The entrance ramp is right outside the hotel. It’s awesome. We found the free breakfast buffet to be very generous in terms of selection and everything we tasted was of good quality. There were make-your-own waffles, plus hot sausage, potatoes and eggs. Then there was a selection of fresh fruits and some fresh fruit compote to put on toast, bread, bagels, or your yogurt. Big variety of drinks, too. Dad enjoyed the coffee. I prefer soda at all hours, so I brought my own. I’m a web-head, and was very pleased with the free wifi. In addition, they have a computer and printer in the lobby if you need one of those. The beds, pillows, and linens were very nice and the rooms were appointed in an appealing way. We had two favorite parts of our stay. I think Dad’s favorite was the fresh cookies at any time of day. Or night. We grabbed two on our way out the door in the morning, too. Yum! My favorite was the pool. Not the fanciest, but it was open 24HOURS! Not that a midnight swim is necessarily appealing to everyone, but it rocks when that’s the only time you’ve got for it. :) I think we’re going to be regulars.
