This is the place for high end audio. Over the years, i’ve purchased several items from them and keep being impressed by their selection and top notch customer service. My main man Mike Dean is one of the most reputable, trustworthy persons i know. I highly recommend ListenUp!

We recently moved to Boulder and needed someone we could trust to mount our flat screen tv … We called a few contractors, even a few off Craigslist …

We got some great counsel along the way from our assigned technician Dave S … For example, we thought we wanted the tv over the fireplace but Dave was able to share how a number of clients felt similarly, only to later have the TV re-​installed in an «easier to view» location. Simply put, the wisdom of Dave’s experience shared a valuable insight

The service & installation department is what makes Listen Up number one. Great products at competitive prices. What’s not to like?
After I ordered a home theatre system for my new house, I price shopped both online and Best Buy. The prices from Listen Up were same or lower with no hassles.
The installation team respected my brand new house, worked fast and efficiently, and cleaned up everything perfectly. When the cabinet I’d chosen didn’t work in the space, they took it back without complaint and replaced it, even though it was a custom ordered item.

Wish I could give this place zero stars. In this day and age it amazes me that businesses can get away with as much attitude as this place gives you. Seriously go somewhere else and save yourself a massive let down. These people are so rude and short with customers. Maybe they should just close up shop if it bothers them so much to get up from their desk and actually work to help a customer.

I called ListenUp to see if they had the turntable I wanted in stock before I drove from the Fort to Boulder. I spoke to a younger guy who was very helpful and they happened to have exactly what I wanted so I headed over. Being in the industry I appreciated their selection and brands, store was merchandised well too. I met up with the same guy who I spoke with earlier and purchased my turntable (which I love by the way) The only reason I’m not giving them 5 stars is because I basically asked for an audio demo on the Sonus Fabers but I didn’t receive one. Overall great experience if you are looking for Hi-​Fi gear.

Awful, talk about a mess. The service techs won’t order what they need direct from there own sales department (sorry, we can’t do that, company policy!) and the sales team doesn’t listen to what you tell them that the service techs asks for (apparently the sales guy knows better than the guys out in the field) — AND — guess who gets to pay to do the job twice. RUN AWAY BEFORE YOU GET SCREWED BY THESE JOKERS!!!

Unfortunately, they keep going downhill. My last few interactions with the Boulder store left me feeling like I was inconveniencing the sales staff, and anymore, you can’t even go in to audition the speakers well because they’re pushing obscure-​yet-​anemic gear on their best speakers. If you’re interested in HiFi, go to Soundings, 30+ miles south in the Tech Center. They’re much nicer, much more friendly, and you get the impression that they actually care. Skip Listenup, or go knowing that you’re gonna be on your own.
