I haven’t been to the dentist in a few years. As we are new in town, I began my search for a dentist on Unilocal.I read the reviews for Dr. Patrician and made an appointment. From making an appointment to the cleaning, my experience was excellent.
My wife had the same positive experience.

Love these guys! Had to get a bridge and Dr. Patrician made it beyond perfect. I will definitely go back. His staff is amazing and the place is super cozy and cool. I made an appt for cleaning as well. Fun staff, gorgeous office.

I called Dr. Patrician’s office in a panic the day before Thanksgiving. Visiting Boulder for the holiday week from Iowa, the last thing I expected to need was an emergency dental appointment for severe tooth pain. I’m also four months pregnant, so I knew any dental work I could receive would be limited. I also should mention that I HATE going to the dentist. I have had some very traumatic dental experiences and I have serious anxiety about any sort of dental procedures. Dr. Patrician’s office was able to get me an appointment within the hour to address what was causing my tooth pain. They were all SO nice and friendly and didn’t even laugh at how irrationally nervous I was. They made me feel very comfortable and put me at ease the entire appointment. I would highly recommend this office for anyone who needs dental care– I’m not sure what I would have done without them!

In and out for a filling in less than 30 minutes yesterday. Have had more extensive procedures by Dr Patrician over the past two years and am extremely happy with results. His techniques are faster and result in much less discomfort than anywhere else I’ve been. Staff is very friendly. They go above and beyond to make the patient experience as comfortable as possible, and demonstrate with both images and X-​rays when explaining treatments. Will continue as a patient even though I now live in Denver!

I just switched to boulder dental arts and dr patrician. After my initial exam and cleaning I was very impressed by the office and staff. But then it changed direction — I had to have a filling repair d, and set the appointment
On appointment day — as they were starting the anesthetic for my too the I asked for gas — and was told to «go to a rave» — I let the staff know that I have a hard time with people drilling in my my mouth and I need the gas — that was that they told me to find a dentist with gas and basically just walked away that was that. They have an extensive pre-​patient form — nothing in it about gas, tolerance of dental pain or dental anxiety. I took half a day off work to not get dental work done
Issues:
— they don’t have a common dentist tool gas and don’t tell you in advance — fine but then to treat you like a leper
— they wasted half of my day
— lack of empathy just «we are done see ya find Someone else»
— «go to a rave» seriously
At least they didn’t charge for the visit
If you have zero dental anxiety And don’t mind being treated poorly give them a shot or better yet try someone else

Great doctors and staff — latest, state of the art technology! Scheduling is always painless.

Having found Dr. Patrician via his great reviews, I can say I am elated with those reviews proving to be true! He is a very personable, friendly doc, and is very efficient at getting to the root (sorry:)) of the problem. His office is state of the art and his staff could not be more pleasant and competent. He even took the path of not doing one root canal I was previously told (elsewhere) was needed. I also have to say that he does not treat you as if you have zero idea of the difference between a molar and incisor. /​As an aside, he’s likely the fastest dentist on a bike in town!

Wow is all I can say! What a top notch experience I had today. My first time was back in September of 2014. A great experience than, but let me say that the team really knows what works for an amazing improvement in the Health of your teeth and whole mouth!!! I started a New brushing technique that the hygienists train every person when they come in! I diligently did this 2 times every 24 hours and when I came back this past Monday… can I say this, My gums and mouth are perfect. Improved all my point for my gums, No infection. Patricia is so gentle and so thorough that I actually could have fallen asleep in the chair! All you Baby Boomers out there, do yourself a favor and get your Mouth/​Teeth into this Boulder Dental Arts before it is to late! I am 55 yrs and I do know the Health of your Mouth is the most important part of your body. Even if your not a Baby Boomer, the Whole Team is amazing, efficient, Happy, did I say they all have amazing personalities and bring Joy to your day?!

Some things are best said with few words. HELLO, this is the ONLY dentist I have ever found that my husband Doug would EVER sit still for and have the work he had delayed 7 years allow to fix the mess in his mouth. All better now thanks to Jeffrey and his great staff. Now if we can only get me in :) PS Found him next to my home neighborhood on Unilocal

All those five-​star reviews? Yeah, really. Patricia, the RDH, did such a gentle cleaning that I wondered if she had secretly put something numbing on my gums. Dr. Jeffrey is low-​key and — unlike two other local dentists I’ve seen — doesn’t push teeth-​whitening or cosmetic orthodontia. I’m really impressed; I never thought I would feel warm and fuzzy about my dentist!

Boulder Dental Arts is hands down the best dental office I have ever been to. Possibly the best in history. Everyone at BDA is smart, nice and take pride in what they do.
Jeff removed my wisdom teeth, repaired a botched extraction job I had in FL, fixed my tied tongue (no joke, that is a thing) all without complication.
Patricia, the RDH at BDA gave me the cleaning of a lifetime and it didn’t hurt a bit. Which is strange for me because usually it’s the worst part. She was so knowledgeable and taught me how to brush correctly for the first time in my life.
Going to BDA to get dental work done is something I honestly look forward to. As long as I live in Colorado, Boulder Dental Arts is the only place that I, or my friends and family will go!

Jeffery makes smiling easier when at the dentist! A far distance from the childhood dental horrors I experienced– Jeffery makes going to the dentist fun. Yes, actually fun. Good music, cozy blankets, top notch style, and a great dental team. You will not regret getting teeth cleaned here!
Jeffery removed 4 of my wisdom teeth without any complications. He used local anesthesia, called to check in on me after, and made what could have been quite traumatic a breeze.
You will be glad to go to Jeffery for any dental needs. He is trust worthy, warm hearted, and kind.

This is pretty much the best dental office in all of Boulder. High tech modern equipment — really friendly and professional staff — and the Doc himself is great.
I hadn’t seen a dentist for 6 years before I came in, so I was really worried. But these guys totally put me at ease. Couldn’t really ask for a better dentist experience.

Have you ever been put at ease by something that would typically put you on edge? Well, it’s a PHANTASMAGORICAL experience, and it happened to me upon entering this office. The staff are personable, straight forward and efficient. After getting signed in by the smiling sweet Kareena at the front desk, I was lucky enough to get to sit in one of the cozy waiting room chairs, but only long enough to get comfortable and tranquilized by the virtual fish tank. Then handsome Logan whisked me away to the x-​ray station with stealth like Batman and got the pictures needed. I continued to be taken aback by the high-​tech equipment, the gorgeous interior design and the stellar staff.
Patricia is hands down the ‘world’s best’ hygienist. She’s highly skilled at her craft and has the friendliest demeanor, someone I wouldn’t mind sitting around a fire with, listening to her tell stories of how the best of the best care for their teeth.
Then, Dr. Patrician came to take a look at things. Besides the fact that he’s strapping and fit with a sense of humor, he’s also a very skilled dentist. He’s professional and comfortable with his work and his patients. And he also knows how to keep the experience uplifting w/​positive reinforcement. I was in my happy place the whole time… in a dentist’s office…
When I came back to get some work done and needed a root canal, I was so impressed with how quick and painless the process was. Dr. Patrician and his lovely assistant worked so well together, I knew I was in good hands so I just sat back and relaxed while they worked their magic!
After the procedure, I left feeling so lucky that I had found one of the greatest dentists around. If you’re in Boulder and you haven’t found ‘the one’ yet, you might want to get in while you can, because I foresee this practice as being the go-​to for people who truly want to transform any preconceived notions about what going to the dentist is all about.

We LOVE our new dentist and his staff. The office is new, clean, and truly state-​of-​the-​art! The doctor came out and personally introduced himself when we arrived for our very first visit. We shared a few laughs over the «virtual aquarium» playing on the flat screen TV in the waiting room which was actually pretty soothing as we waiting in the comfy leather waiting room chairs. They were running right on time which I always appreciate! It does not hurt that Dr. Patrician is pretty easy on the eyes with his shiny bright smile! :)
I liked that they mentioned the X-​rays were pretty safe comparatively and it was pretty cool to see all the images on the screen above the exam chair. The doctor and his staff were good with my two kids (ages 11, 15) and Patricia is seriously the BEST hygienist I have EVER opened my mouth for. She is personable, at-​ease, down-​to-​earth, professional and so sweet with my daughter who even said «That was great, I want to go back!!!» The «Happy Hippo Cake» flavored polish was an added bonus for her. (again, we had a few laughs over this one!)
Luckily I can’t speak for how they do with major dental work, because we try really hard to avoid problems, and managed this time to escape without any warnings to floss or brush more.
My only cons don’t at all affect my ratings– 1) while I love the technology of the text reminders, it’s irritating to also get a phone call asking for a return call to confirm. I don’t know why, but it really bugs me; and 2) while I loved being inside out of the hot weather, my toes in flip flops froze in the A/​C.
Overall a great experience and I highly recommend this office.

after a few years of seeing some sketchy dentists back in chicago who did a horrible job of taking care of my teeth, i am so glad to have found dr. patrician and his staff. everyone there is very knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating. i got a thorough exam by the dr. and an awesome cleaning by patricia during my first visit.
dr. patrician really took the time to go over all my problem areas in detail — with cool up-​close digital images — and map out a treatment plan for me (and yes, after my previous years of dental neglect, there were indeed problems.)
i wound up going back for 2 crowns, which he did a excellent job on. the procedures were painless and my new teeth fit perfectly.
their office is beautiful, the equipment is state-​of-​the-​art, and the music is great. no elevator/​easy listening stations here… and they take requests.
believe it or not, i actually enjoy going in for dental visits now. how many people can say that?

I agree with all the other reviews that the place is clean, the staff is nice, and they have some fancy gadgets. But I guess the moral of my review is I didn’t feel the level of personal care was there at all.

Recently re-​located to Boulder and needed a new dentist. The staff at Boulder Dental Arts is incredibly helpful and professional, the facilities are impeccable, with state of he art equipment in a soothing environment (compliments of the great views of the Foothills). As a new patient, I was able to get a same day appointment because I was in pain. Patricia was extremely nurturing, reassuring and eased my nerves prior to having my wisdom tooth pulled out.
Dr. Patrician has the most gentle hands of any dentist I’ve ever visited. Additionally, a next day check-​up call shows he truly cares.
I would highly recommend Dr. Patrician and his staff to anyone looking for the best dentist in town.

BDA does a nice job of making The Dentist Visit a pleasant experience. I’ve had some bad experiences with dentists being rushed, rough, and generally uncaring. Dr. Patrician is the opposite. He takes time to do things right and makes the process as enjoyable as possible.
His attention to detail shows in the design and layout of the office which is modern, clean, and attractive. He provides water and coffee for patients in the waiting area. The operating chairs are comfortable and equipped with TVs/​monitors so you can either watch a show or choose to see what the dentist sees. He uses modern equipment and tools including an amazing X-​ray machine for panoramic views. The office manager is efficient and polite and scheduling appointments is easy.
Parking is convenient with free parking on the street or in a lot and the office is located on a main road so it is easy to find.
I’ve had a cavity filled and two cleanings now with Dr. Patrician and all the work has been well done with minimal discomfort. Overall I highly recommend giving BDA a try if you’re looking for a new dentist.
