Lovely staff, delicious food, yummy dessert. I will be back at least 33 times before I die, or maybe more… probably more.

The food is OKAY. BUT the service is TERRIBLE. They are RACIST toward their own kind. They kept avoiding to serve us and check on us and I had to keep prompting them to get their attention(my boyfriend is from northern India, Punjab, and I look Caucasian but from Eastern Europe. We were both born and raised in the States). We came to this conclusion because there was a South Indian couple sitting in the booth behind us and they left because they did not come to take their order for over 30mins-they said so as they walked out. Also because my boyfriend told me that this isn’t uncommon. They prefer to service«white people» because«brown people» typically do not tip well and do not order alcohol, and may or may not criticize the food. Lastly and most importantly, a new«white» couple came in after that South Indian couple left and when I prompted the Indian waiter for the first time, stating that we are ready to order, he went to that new«white» couple that had just sat down for less than 5mins(no exaggeration) while we had been there with just water for approximately 15mins. This couple was sweet enough to ask that he goes to us first and EVENTHEN he literally told us to wait(hand gesture) and he will be with us in a moment. That couple insisted and said, «We just got in, we are not even ready yet.» I mostly felt the need to prompt these waiters due to what happened with the couple that left. We would have left to, but, we were hungry on Christmas Day after doing a 4 hour hike and this was one of very few choices. The other non-Indian staff were amazing. We only tipped them and walked out.

OVERALL: 4.5 of 5 stars. Good food, lots of options, very reasonable price. I don’t feel I can give 5 stars as my experiences have been take-out only, but Jaipur has never let me down. GETTINGTHERE: Some street parking at meters. SERVICE: 5 of 5 stars for take out. Been twice, fast and courteous service. FOOD: 4.5 of 5 stars. Ordered 6 dishes, all were well above average. VALUE: 5 of 5 stars. Not expensive for take out. ATMOSPHERE: n/a — take out only

3 stars. Here’s the deal… The staff is welcoming, pleasant, and communicative. Graciousness goes a long way in my book. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and is in an excellent location in Boulder. Now, the inevitable downside… I came into the restaurant because the restaurant had«vegan» signs in the front window, advertising that they had many options for people, like myself, who abstain from animal products for a plethora of reasons. When we asked the waiter, he was very kind and informed us that all of the dishes do have butter in them.(This may sound picky to most people, but to hardcore vegans and people like myself with dairy allergies, this felt very deflating. There was nothing on the menu or on the buffet table that my party could eat.) I appreciate the honesty of the staff for informing us, but please do not advertise«vegan» options when they are actually«vegetarian.» There is a very distinct difference.

We had the Sunday lunch buffet. The food was scrumptious. Naan was really soft and melted in mouth. Everything was freshly prepared using high quality ingredients.

Love these guys… whether you go in or have food delivered, they are rock stars. We order out a lot for work and they are fast with a capital F, including their delivery people… We use Hungry Buffs to order through… never had a problem!

Best Indian restaurant in CO, to my knowledge! Also, their prix fixe dinner deal is amazing. Maybe I’m not used to CO prices anymore, but it feels almost too good to be true! You get a delicious multi-course dinner for the price of a budget lunch!

pretty standard indian lunch buffet place in downtown Boulder. The standout was the samosa and the palak paneer. Rest everything was average. Its value for money at $ 8.99 though for the buffet.

So disappointed. We were here a year ago(2014) while visiting, and had really wonderful food for lunch buffet. So, we put Jaipur on our«must go» list while visiting this year. We regret that now. Servers look bored, stained shirts, and couldn’t care less that you are in the restaurant. The food was bland, and the vegetable korma was made with a sorry mix of FROZEN vegetables — no joke! No daal, saag made with frozen spinach and no paneer. Vegetable samosas were tasty, but not great enough to take us back. This place is coming off our list. Too much other competition of Indian/Nepalese places to justify eating here. Go elsewhere. Too bad, it was great not so long ago.

Not authentic food, very stale. Waiter told the food is 3 days old. Wouldn’t recommend lunch buffet for Vegetarians. Very few vegetarian options.

After a long day of moving our daughter into her dorms we needed a good meal and Indian just sounded like the ticket. Based on Unilocal reviews we tried Jaipur and caught them just before closing. Ok, i was a cook ages ago, and I know staff hates late arrivals but they seemed happy to have us there. Top marks for service all through the meal. Street Parking was easy and they validate for garage next door. The food hit the spot, really needed it. Awesome onion kulcha, the garlic naan was very good too. My brown ale was amazing, wifes merlot was good. The entrees were different styles than we are used to, but thats not a bad thing. The chicken saag and lamb masala were both very tasty. They were not the best we ever had but we have high standards from being lucky enough to have sampled from a top indian chef. Only down note is minor, the papadams were a little soft. We were there late so guessing they sat during service. Hard to knock them for that. If we lived here we might go back. I would try a few others before deciding. Not a lock, but not rejected either. We were both fed and happy after our meal.

Yummy, yummy, yummy garlic naan with real, fresh garlic! And the samosas — to die for! Everything was yummy! Plus ordering online through Unilocal or EAT24 for take out was so convenient. I wish that the online menu listed the number of samosas/naan served with each order. I ended up ordering too much. But extra food for dinner the next day turned out to be a great idea! Yes, it was so good my husband and I happily ate it two nights in a row.

Got to try the lunch buffet(great deal for $ 8.99). I think there were about 8 choices and some veggie options plus a small salad bar available for the lunch buffet. The meatballs were really tender and yummy. The chicken masala had great flavor though the chicken was on the dry side. They had this crispy pastry(I think it’s the vegetable samosa) that was really good too. There was a curry with eggplant and zucchini that had great flavor. Came with a fresh plate of warm naan bread. Service was good as well. Overall: solid!

I enjoyed the lunch buffet, my favorites were the koftas(meatballs) and samosa. I feel the buffet had a good balance of meat, starches and vegetables. And there is a condiment bar, I highly recommend trying the different condiments the flavors have such distinct flavors. And don’t forget the plate of naan, brought out warm and fresh delicious! I recommend this restaurant if you are in the area.

I’ve been to this place a couple times now, I’ve been to pretty much all the other Indian food places around the Boulder area as well. This is by far the best option, quality food, good prices, perfect location and they always are super friendly and helpful with the menu if needed. I’ll be going back here for a while. Only thing I can say is that eat in service can be slower than wanted, but I think that’s because sometimes they are understaffed.

I’m not certain why I’m not giving a 5 star review. Happy with everything, I just devoured the Sunday lunch buffet. I arrived at 245pm, 15 min prior to the buffet closing, which is usually a bad time to approach a buffet in hopes of fresh, delicious fare, but it might as well have been the first 15 min after opening. Everything was fresh, tender, crispy and delicious. I agree with other reviewers that the food must be intentionally under-spiced for heat. No worries though, there is plenty of mouthwatering hot sauce on the right side with the other accoutrement. An Indian/Pakistani family seemed to be enjoying their meal near me… a good sign. The service was attentive though the attendance was light. $ 9.80 for what I just experienced was a real treat. I’ll certainly be back. First I must waddle my way out of here and onto my bike to ride off the horde of calories I just consumed. Another thing, Curry And Kabob has a higher Unilocal rating. I ate there a week ago and it pales in comparison to this place.

What made this visit worse than the average Indian buffet was the coughing, hacking, nose snorting Indian waiter who would continually make very loud, gross nasal snorts then spit in the trash behind the bar. In between these terrible guttural noises he was burping. This may be acceptable behavior in India, but I do not wish to pay to hear this while dining. Especially in Boulder where there are so many great alternatives. We arrived for their lunch buffet at 1:30 which is advertised to go until 2:30. Numerous of the buffet containers were empty. Myself and several other customers were bringing this to the attention of the waiters. Some fresh food was brought out within 20 minutes but what good does that do me? I had already chowed down on what was available. The food itself was unremarkable and not any better than other Indian buffets. Nothing spicy, just the typical offerings.

Overall I am impressed with my delivery order. It came within a reasonable amount of time(within an hour). And everything came labeled and well packaged. I appreciated how they took the time to wrap the soups and the mango lassi with plastic to prevent spilling! I really appreciate that. The food tasted fresh and well made. The mango lassi tasted good. The cheese naan had cheddar in it but it wasn’t STUFFED with cheese but it was still good. The lamb meat samosa was flavorful and crispy. The tomato soup was spicy but good. The dal soup was very plain and I don’t think I would get it again. The onion bajj had good flavor but I’m sure it would have tasted better at the restaurant. They were a little soggy from being in the package. Overall, will definitely consider getting again in the future!

I almost always go for the lunch buffet and I love it here. I have a feeling that a lot of the food is catered to the Boulder crowd and not quite authentic, but I’m a huge fan of Indian food and can recognize that this is great quality. I definitely recommend going at least a few times as the buffet changes almost daily with new foods to try!

We tried the weekday lunch buffet for $ 8.99. All the dishes that I tried were good. The buffet had an excellent selection including fish, chicken and veggie options. The wait staff was attentive with the water glasses and brought out delicious hot naan to go with our meal. The food was all quite mild which may be a positive for some people and negative for others. The chicken tandoori was probably the standout item on the buffet in my opinion. It was moist and had a lot of great flavor. The mango pudding was also delicious. The interior was tastefully done and well kept. This is probably one of the best Indian buffets that I’ve been to in Colorado and certainly even rivals some of the best I’ve had in NYC.
