Through the grapevine I heard Baker Street closed for reasons related to sanitation and hygiene. This may not be true and I don’t want to spread rumors but people wouldn’t gossip about this kind of stuff in the first place if the restaurant was kept clean and roach-free from the start! Either way I wish them the best of luck.

Ok. This is like a hidden gem! My hubby and I went to Boulder to eat somewhere that was featured on some Food network show, and they were closed. So, we went next door. Yup! Here at Baker Street Pub & Grill. First of all compared to «The Sink» no comparison. My husband had the Buffalo Burger, OMG! Fresh ingredients, it was actually spicey hot(and I LOVE spicey)! I had the salmon for the second time and again, OMG! The salmon with the creamy sauce just melted in my mouth. The mashed potatoes were amazing. Best of all is the service. Truly I didn’t like the sink because those servers are so haughty and lame! These ladies, were top notch. I am going to eat there at least once a month and am so excited! Yummo! I live in Aurora, but I will drive over there to eat there. It is THAT good! 2÷23÷14 — Yes, I’m sad that this closed. I couldn’t believe it. Booo!

Typical food that needs freshened up. My salad greens were wilted and tired looking. The grilled chicken breast was completely over cooked and dry. Poor chef doesn’t know when to shut off the heat. On the noisy side with too much music.

I’m in finance so I’m now going to end my reviews with a buy-sell-hold recommendation. I’m putting a hold on Baker Street Pub. I’ve since returned and still like the joint and it’s expansive bier selection. The food is typical pub fare with a few British standards mixed in. I would prefer a few more non fried options, especially on the app side. Last week I enjoyed a sesame ginger chicken salad which felt like it was relatively healthful. Love that they have Angry Orchard on tap. Hate the menu and prices that end in .99. Listen, we’re not stupid. I don’t think something that costs 7.99 is $ 7. It’s 8 bucks. I said it before and I’ll say it again, the menu feels like Applebees or Chilis.

Heard some good things about Baker Street and decided to go for a burger and a cold beer. Horrible idea. Was seated quickly at a patio table, and proceeded to wait. And wait. And wait. After 15 minutes we decided to grab one of the 5 waitresses on the patio to see if she could get us at least a drink. About 10 minutes later someone finally came to get our order, and we each ordered a beer. They were, well. drinkable. Bit warm, but it was a beer and we were thirsty. It only got worse from there. I’m from cattle country, and love a good burger. This place successfully made me swear off burgers for at least 3 months. How you are able to mess up a burger that bad is beyond me. I wont be going back, unless the beer is free and I’m already full.

We stopped in here for Trivia Night last week(although it was cancelled due to a radio station hosting a holiday event). Unfazed, we sat at a booth and ordered beers and appetizers. The place has good beer selections and also had interesting pub food. We ordered this egg dish that is cooked within a sausage casing(weird, i know) and it was tasty! The prices are decent(Inversion on tap for $ 2.75 a pint during HH!)– and I noticed they had a happy hour and late night menu(which is essentially the happy hour menu, just 3 hours later). Loved the interior décor(they have a faux library, which I thought was really cute). Would love to come back and actually participate in Trivia Night, which they have 3 nights a week!

Got up and left! There is literally no service here. We sat for 15 – 20 minutes and no waitstaff came over to our table while we were there, so we went somewhere else. i looked at other reviews on Unilocal to see if it was worth getting up to go flag the waitress, but based on the other reviews, and a relatively bland menu, we cut our losses

Ew, this bar is trying to be an English pub, but it is trying way too hard and completely failing. It’s as American as Michael Phelps eating apple pie on the 4th of July. It’s like Outback steakhouse… it’s trying to be foreign, but it feels like any bar you would hit up in a strip mall in suburbia. Try the scotch egg. It wasn’t bad.

I went here last week after a kickball game and was a little caught off guard. I understand you have great deals for happy hour, and all that but was just disappointed. I ordered the half fish/chips, which I have ordered numerous times. The waitress asked me if I wanted cole slaw. I said sure! Well the cole slaw was NOT good. And come to find out on the bill later, she charged me EXTRA for the cole slaw! A word to the management, why can’t you specify that these things are extra??? I also didn’t enjoy it, and wasn’t going to say anything since I thought it came with the meal, but since I was charged extra for it, then here’s your warning fellow Unilocalers. Ask if they are charging extra for sides, because the wait staff will certainly NOT tell you.

Basically a local version of Bennigans. They DO have TVs for sports but small ones scattered around the perimeter. Overhead music played instead of game broadcast. Food was mixed. Queso and salsa were misnomers. Just stuff out of cans with no flavor. Salsa tastes more like jelly than salsa or pico. Must say I liked the fish tacos. Lots of meat and flavor on lightly toasted corn tortillas and a little cheese melted in. On plus side they took the salsa/queso order off our tab. Props and good tip to the waitress. Mediocre bar/restaurant. Take the folks but don’t head there for game night. Too sedate.

If you read nothing else in this review, I want you to know that all Deschutes beer is $ 2.75 during happy hour. Best. Deal. Ever. Now then. I’ve been to Baker Street twice now. The first was for a Deschutes Abyss beer tasting, the second was for my sister’s boyfriend’s birthday. Very little gets me to take the long trip into Boulder anymore, but I’ll make the trek for Deschutes and family. Baker Street is a great idea. I mean, I loved Sherlock Holmes growing up and I still do, but this is a far cry from anything intelligent or British. It honestly doesn’t even feel like a pub. Maybe it’s because it’s filled with college kids or maybe they haven’t got the formula just right, but this feels very much like any other bar you would go into to grab a beer and maybe a bite to eat. The service is friendly enough and I’ve only had drinks here, not food, so I can’t speak to that at all. Overall, I wouldn’t make a special trip to Boulder for Baker Street. But I would make a special trip for special people that want to do something at Baker Street.

I really like this bar. The food is well prepared, service is decent, drinks are good, cheap and it has fun community feel. They have great happy hour deals so most of the time you go there is some type of special. Also, they have Bingo and Trivia nights with prizes for the winners. I like the bar food, warm sea salt and vinegar potato chips, sweet potatoes fries, and the chips and salsa are my favorite. The do have an extensive menu if you are looking for a sturdier meal. The drinks are great and they have a wide variety of beers and cocktails. The service is ok, nothing to rave about in my experience-but it is a pub after all. It does get busy but it’s not like going to a bar on Pearl St. so this place seems more local to me. This is a great place to go watch a game, go out with friends, or just get a drink late at night.

So I’m the kind of guy that likes to eat cheap pub food and I like the dark pub atmosphere. Plus the whole pub thing kind of runs in my blood.(That’s what I tell myself when I go here anyways) Either way its a very relaxed atmosphere, the food is pretty good and the drinks are great in my opinion. I usually tend to go here as my fallback place because there is something for everyone to enjoy here. I even took my parents here when they were visiting and they loved it(they are very picky about where they eat. Me on the other, put food in front of me and I’m pretty content.) Give it a try. I bet that you will find something that you will like.

This place is only OK. The happy hour is good for drinks. The food is very meh — mostly just greasy.

I hate when people say, «You win some, you lose some.» They should say something cooler. Something involving zombies or explosions. Anyway, that particular expression applies to my recent visit to Baker Street. The food was lame. The service was even lamer. If there was a governing body that issued trophies for new heights of laziness, Baker Street would be bursting at the seams with them. And I would applaud. Because such a victory is more than apt. I ordered a sandwich and didn’t like it. My companion likewise ordered a sandwich, which we later nicknamed the«Soggy Home Companion» because the thing was majorly margariney. The service was pretty lousy. I often make exceptions for bad food is the service is good, but Baker Street’s staff was mostly interested in watching TV than attending to tables. (Now, if something extraordinary had been on TV — like old episodes of Arrested Development — I might have forgiven them. But it was soccer. I mean, really? You’re going to neglect my table for the lowest-scoring sport on Earth? Pssh.) If you go, go because you need a drink. Don’t go because you need food or fine service. There are way better places in this town for that sort of thing. They’re called restaurants.

YUM! I’ve ordered the pot pie & the buffalo chicken sandwich here & I loved them. The hostesses are dumb college girls, but the rest of the staff are cool. I don’t drink… much, but the drink variety of drinks seemed good. You should eat at Baker St. if you aren’t offended by TV screens showing sports. I could do without the top 40 music mixed in with the decent music.

I’ve been here a number of times with friends and it’s pretty passable. Definitely a step above Applebee’s, but it isn’t a sufficient replacement for Chili’s(shut up, I’m still mourning that loss). The food is average — no real complaints, but it just feels like it’s lacking in the details. One time I had a side of fries that was half cooked. No joke… half of the fries were hot ‘n fresh, the other half barely par-cooked. Something I find really odd is when you have to seat yourself. We waited about 20 minutes at one of the big round tables for someone to even acknowledge us. I mean, a group of people with no menus, drinks, or silverware? Hmmm… maybe they need some attention. Also, they call their ground meat/potatoes thing Shepherd’s Pie — WRONG! If the dish is made with beef then it’s COTTAGE pie. Shepherd’s pie is made with ground lamb. Just sayin’

Hmmm. I thought this place was a local chain so I was surprised to hear it originated in Houston, Texas. Matt & I needed to find a quick place to get some beers/apps before the Conan show. This place has a total Fridays/Chili’s/Applebees thing going on. Decent tap beers and we got a sample appetizer(skins/tempura chicken fingers/wings). Holy deep fried goodness… I would come back for one reason and one reason only: The tempura chicken fingers. Glad there are a couple around Denver I can get my fix at from now on.

A great spot for a eating, drinking and being merry. Convenient for the traveller, being located next door to the Best Western Golden Buff Lodge. A good variety of imported beers, some tasty cocktails and a heraty menu. Thumbs up!

Had lunch there today and enjoyed it more than my last visit to the previous owner of this location(Chili’s). Its got a corporate feel to it but makes a good attempt to look a bit like a London Pub. The menu even has Bangers and mash, plus Mum’s Meatloaf. I opted for the Rueben and it was really pretty good a nice addition is the home made chips with seasoning. I thought the prices were very reasonable for a Boulder restaurant just $ 7.99 for my sandwich and 2 bucks for bottomless soda. They also have a great beer selection almost 20 different brews available. I’ve added baker Street to my lunch list.
