Big Basin Volunteer Trail Crew is a great group of people that create and maintain trails and fire roads in Big Basin. We have done work from Castle Rock and down to Rancho Del Oso on the beach. We meet every second Saturday of each month, rain or shine, 9:00 a.m. at headquarters in Big Basin Park. Many dedicated volunteers and frequent new recruits show every month with gloves on and lots of passion for the great outdoors. There are all levels of assistance needed from clearing brush, treading a trail to clearing fallen redwoods. There can be hiking from 1 – 6 miles carrying tools, water and lunch. A very welcoming group and gauranteed a great time. Check out the website and see a sampling of our accomplishments. Hope to see you on the trail.
