I live a couple of miles away from this place so I probably end up grabbing takeout from here about once every 2 weeks or so. I’m a huge fan of the spicy chicken teriyaki. If you like white meat, I suggest ordering it with chicken breast(the default is dark meat). The owners are nice, the food is fresh and cooked to order, and service is fast. Best teriyaki in Bothell!

If you’re looking for the best teriyaki in town, this is the place! Great food, great service, and family friendly. I’ve been going for years and the food is always a home run! Just go!

Been going there for years, Food always excellent. Greeted by my name every time. My favorite teriyaki place in the greater Seattle Tacoma area, sauce is amazing. I admit I probably go there to much but its soooo good Robert

Busy but friendly and delicious. I always call in to pick up and take home. We’ve been going here for maybe 10 years or so now and it never gets old. They are so friendly. I usually see the wife who is so sweet and friendly at the register but I went on a weekend once and the husband was a funny man. Their food is rich in flavor and give out generous portions. Their salad dressing is so amazing– it’s the first thing I eat when I order teryaki. My son loves it, I love it, my whole family loves it. Their chicken is well cooked, never under or over and their rice is so moist and fluffy. They also have a punch card when you buy 10 entrees you get your last one at a discount or free, I don’t remember but either way they are worth it. Will be back!

The food is not bad but the portion size is terribly small. Most places give you lots of chicken and some rice but this place gives you almost all rice. Plus we ordered the spicy chicken and all they did to make it spicy was dump a bunch of hot sauce on it. We will not be going back.

My favorite teriyaki joint, I always get their chicken katsu — nicely done(not overcooked), good portions and reasonably priced. This is one of the few joints in the area that serves curry and I get that sometimes as well. The salad dressing is also very good and can be purchased in larger bottle portions. The owner is nice and remembers his frequent customers(I am one of them)!

I have always complained about their portion sizes for their prices. Some are good, but some, esp the beef short ribs. I understand those are expensive, so they need to mark up the price, but I am sorry, when you barely get food for almost $ 20, ridiculous. No mater how good the food is, at least give me a portion size of what I am paying for.

This place is great value for money if you try their daily special. Particularly on Saturday they have teriyaki chicken with goyza. Well worth the money. Their rice quantity is way too much for me and I end up eating just one fourth of it. I am though not heavy rice eater. Place itself is clean with decent seating arrangement nothing fancy. I would always go here for lunch. It’s cheap, tasty and filling. I have never gone there for dinner. Food is little oily and is not super healthy with all the rice. However if you stay or work nearby give it a try. It’s good.

I agree with Kevin’s review as I enjoy a chicken bowl here. This location is a nice crossroads at Maltby and route 524 connecting on hwy 527 that connects Snohomish, Canyon Park, N. Bothell and connecting 524 that winds to Lynnwood. Wow! Good thing GPS is easier to get around. At least the 105 Community Transit bus stops here.

This is my usual teriyaki spot. I’ve been going here for about a year. Food has always been great. The portions are good for what you pay for. Spicy teriyaki is my usual order and it defintely is hot but tastes great. Always my go to place for teriyaki in the area.

While the food was decent enough, the owners were unbelievable! I should’ve known when we walked in and saw every single(dirty) table occupied with someone waiting on their food. After paying, we spent at least 30 min waiting on our meal. We had plenty of time to hear all sorts of embarrassing fighting between the two owners/co workers. When they weren’t screaming at each other to hurry with the food, they’d start at each other about other things making for an extremely uncomfortable eating experience. At least one of them could have spent some time shouting while cleaning a table or two and maybe paying attention to customers orders so as to not get them wrong rather than their domestic dispute. I tried this place for the first time because of the great ratings but I should’ve definitely carried out like everyone else was doing.

Simple. Fast. Tasty. Inexpensive. Extensive menu. Large portions. Good ingredients(not too greasy). Place is very clean. The owner is great. What else would you need from a local place to grab a quick bite?

Came with 7 other people on a late Saturday night. I was initially impressed by how organized and clean the menu was. I was later blown away by the fast service and huge portion of food. I ordered the chicken katsu — probably one of the best I’ve had. Usually it comes slightly burnt or dried, but this katsu at Sunny T was amaze-balls. Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside. Food came out hot for everyone as well, despite 4 other tables eating and a moderate traffic of to-go orders. 5 stars for decent price($ 9 for katsu), big portions, great service, and a clean restaurant. Will be back to get my teriyaki fill next time.

I will never come back. I showed up 25 min before they closed and they told me I had to take it to go! If your restaurant is open until 9pm, you should stay open until then!

This is our go to option for teriyaki at work. Stick to the teriyaki menu and you can’t go wrong! Sunny teriyaki is a great place to get a big filling lunch at a reasonable price. I frequently order the chicken & pork spicy, no rice. They have delicious homemade salad dressing which helps set them apart from the million other places around. The service here is great! If you are a regular they even remember your order. Also you don’t have to bus your table which is nice and leads to the place being very clean.

I absolutely love this place. Amazing teriyaki, tender, and delicious. I usually get spicy teriyaki and they don’t mess around with that. Also, if you order extra meat, you definitely get what you pay for! I always get takeout but their restaurant is immaculate. Love, love, love.

This place is awful. You order a beef donburi and it is beef stir-fried with vegetables. I complained and they said that this is our version. This is what I get for going to a Korean-owned teriyaki place.

Cheap food, huge portions, tasty veggie stir fry, enjoyable white and teriyaki sauce… There is nothing more I can ask for from a Teriyaki spot. I will be back!
