Sherlock Self Storage Bothell

I have had my items stored at Sherlock Storage for the past 3 years. The facility is fastidiously maintained. Jim, Tim and the rest of the people on the team are extremely courteous and professional. I highly recommend Sherlock Storage!!!
I read a couple of the negative reviews. There is NO WAY that any storage facility would EVER lock you out of and sell your items if you were 1 day (24 hrs) late with a payment. I would bet that they were consistently late and VERY late with the payment that created the loss of their items. If you are financially responsible this would never happen to you.

So I just got married and we are waiting to buy a bigger home in which to properly fit all of OUR things. In the meantime, I have rented a 10×15 ft. storage unit here at Sherlock Self Storage, and I must say I’m very happy with their service and my storage unit!
They are a newer facility with better incentives and better pricing than their «Public Storage» neighbors down the road on Bothell Way.
The facility is very clean, and I was able to use their moving truck FREE to move all of my things into my unit!
My rate for a 10×15 unit is $ 105/​Month which is about $ 10−30/month LESS than what I had been quoted by all of the local storage companies.
«Jim» the manager is very nice and accommodating!
I highly recommend this place!
UPDATE:
After having a unit for 2 years. They sold all of my stuff after I was late with a payment by 1 day. Never will I ever trust these crooks again. I owed $ 200 and they sold my unit for $ 1500… The owners and purchasers of my unit were clearly in cahoots.

Great place, the staff was great to work with, I got a unit right away, I needed one that same day and they came through for me! The units were clean and very well secured. I will be using them again.

It got worse. My mother and I both had identity theft within weeks of each other. The thieves got into some files and really went to town with our accounts. When we were able to return to our storage locker we found they had ripped apart many boxes leaving precious photos strewn on the ground along with other contents of our boxes Our tools are gone some of which belonged to my grandfather as well as many other items.
I recently rented another storage space on 130^th and when I told them about the lack of security, effort, and care at Sherlock they were blown away. They asked incredulously «If you are not checking the locks what security are you offering exactly?» These are my feelings as well.
Also, after all of this happened Jim offered to email me every time they checked my locker in the future – just to ease my mind since at the time I was so far away. Number of emails received…0
These guys really do not care and you should not trust them with your belongings.

I lived in Kirkland and worked at the Univ. of Washington’s Bothell campus, so I drove by this place daily before renting from. Had an excellent experience, better than I’ve had before using national chains before. The staff was courteous and professional. The facility is clean and well-​kept. The move-​in and move-​out went smoothly. I used their truck, which is a benefit of leasing space from them. The elevator and available furniture dollies/​hand-​trucks were a huge help. When the debit card I had on file for payments expired they gave me multiple email and phone notices so that I could provide the new card info. (they didn’t immediately charge a late fee or sell my stuff!). When I was on the other side of the country and needed them to let in a moving company rep to see my storage unit in order to give an estimate for moving costs, they were accommodating. Their prices for boxes are much less than those at the nearby Target. I enjoyed renting here, would do it again and highly recommend them with no reservation!

Just moved out of my 10×10 storage after a 2 month stay. The whole storage unit experience/​cost couldn’t have been better! Free truck on move-​in, $ 1 for first month (even though i was only there 2 months!), $ 20 to use the truck again to move out. Overall the 2 months cost me less than $ 100 .
The staff is friendly and very reasonable when it comes to working with you on your particular situation. They require a 30-​day notice on move-​out, but were flexible on this for me since i told them I’d likely only be staying 2 months in the beginning.
Facility is super clean and secure. They have lots of useful carts you can use when moving your stuff in/​out.
