I love running into this truck! I first tried it down around Thayer street behind the hospital … To the new to the area, it’s the SOWA district now. Fish tacos are banging… And everything else I’ve tried has been real good too! If ya see this truck and your hungry… Get the fish tacos!

Miss these fish tacos! Where’d these guys go? They used to be in the south end at least once a week.

Food was good but overpriced. Customer service was lacking. I waited 45 minutes for my order and they didn’t give me my side order of quacamole that I had paid for.

The tacos are great, but the service is horrible. I’ve eaten here multiple times and it regularly takes 30 min for my order to be ready. It has to be the slowest food truck in Boston. Today I waited for a half hour and then they told me that they’d ran out of part of my order. Not cool. Won’t be ordering from here again.

Guys, I’m from LA. I know mexican food– this isn’t authentic or anything– but it is supreme. I like the fish taco– which, while being hit or miss sometimes, is still very tasty on a miss. $ 5 per taco. I think it is catfish. The fish is battered and deep fried– but the fish isn’t too heavy. It comes with a great, tangy and creamy white sauce of unknown origin. I HIGHLYRECOMMEND the veggie tacos– two for $ 5. They are composed of LIGHTLY– ever so gently– battered(more like dusted) and deep fried avocado with pickled red cabbage(i think). Whatever it is– I think about it all the time. Go eat it.

Oh wow, these guys are way better than I was expecting. Got two beef tacos with a side of Guac and Chips, all coming out to $ 10.50. The price was maybe a dollar fifty too steep for what I got, but if nothing else, $ 4 for the Guac and Chips was fair. The tacos were excellent. Soft, juicy, flavorful. The wrap was light, but held together for the entire taco. I think they added feta to the top of the taco, and it really added something special to the mix. Really impressed by the beef tacos. The Guac could have maybe been more limey, but it was very smooth and very satisfying. The chips were crisp and tasty enough to eat by themselves, so yeah, that was well-done as well. My meal was a little pricier than it probably should’ve been, but it was a very satisfying meal. Much recommended.

It’s been awhile since I had food from the Taco Truck so I wanted to try it again for lunch at SoWa yesterday. The tacos were fine — the meat was tender and pretty flavorful and the tacos are loaded with meat, salsa, cheese and guac so you definitely get what you pay for here. One huge, huge, huge issue is the amount of time it takes to make a taco. The line to order moved really quickly but it seems like this truck really struggles when it comes to volume. It took about 25 minutes to get 5 tacos and plantains and it seemed like everyone around us was having the same problem. I’d recommend the Taco Truck if it’s dead. No line. Otherwise, skip it and carry on as no taco is worth a 25 minute wait.

All around bad experience. 1) with a line of about 15 people, took about 20 minutes standing in line before I was able to order 2) took another 15 minutes to get my food once I ordered 3) food came out cold and bland I ordered carnitas tacos. I could elaborate with the anecdote of my lunch experience, but I think the bullet points explain most of my displeasure. The only potential saving grace is that this was my first experience with the taco truck and it’s possible that today was a fluke, but I won’t be going back to find out.

I tried the Aguacate Tostada tacos. No line to order but wait was around 20 minutes(I got there right after the rush). But that is an insane wait, food trucks need to be able to get food out faster than that. I had the Aguacate tostado tacos which were okay. Too much pickled onion, not enough chipotle salsa.

Awesome! I hit up the Taco Truck at SoWa this afternoon. The line was pretty long, and after I ordered, I had a bit of a wait for my food(total wait time: around 30 – 40 minutes) The line was long because that’s how the Food Truck Court is at SoWa. The food takes time because they make everything to order. I had the Pollo Asada tacos(grilled chicken with pickled onions, cheese, and red salsa) I added guacamole. It was delicious, but I think I might go for a spicier salsa next time. I also got Fried Plantains, which were topped with sugar and crema. — so good! They have a great assortment of drinks — Jarritos Mexican Soda, Mexican Coke(the kind made with Sugar Cane instead of Corn Syrup), and Aguas Frescas(fruit flavored water) I got a Watermelon Agua Fresca. In total, I paid about $ 12. All in all, the price and the wait time was worth it for good quality Mexican Food.

The food was adequate. I had beef tacos, and my 6-year-old son had the kids taco. He liked it so much he made me get a second one. Mine were ok. A little on the small side, and I’m not quite sure why they used two corn tortillas per taco. They were tasty though. However… Nine hours later I came down with diarrhea and fever, and based on the timing and symptoms, this was most likely Salmonella food poisoning(I am an MD, so I am not just making this up). I cannot trace my illness anywhere else based on the various restaurants I’ve eaten at while in Boston and the people I’ve eaten with. Apparently, there was a Boston Globe article in 2013 that found that many food trucks, including this one, have been cited for either inadequate hand washing facilities or maintenance of proper food temperature. I guess I had bad luck yesterday, and fortunately my son was fine. See .

45+ minute wait. The fish taco was good, however the carnitas was mediocre. Also, service is an issue. I asked for no onions on my carnitas and confirmed it with the person taking my order. Got the order, reeked of onions. There were numerous people in front of me whose orders were also messed up. They’re supposed to take LevelUp but«the server was down». Even though I saw 3 people use it ahead of me with no problem. Overall, I will not be going back. Not enjoyable enough to warrant wasting my 45 minute lunch for.

No bueno. The line wasn’t all that long, but still took about 30 minutes to get food. A few things that were wrong with this truck: 1.) They didn’t have tons of the menu items 2.) The wait was extremely long and they weren’t really hustling 3.) The prices are way expensive for tacos 4.) The portions are tiny… 4 tacos should fill me up(it felt like an appetizer) 5.) The corn tortillas were dry and completely uncooked(fry it up real quick and it’d be 1000x better) 6.) They messed up tons of people’s orders so that added to the confusion and wait time 7.) The food wasn’t spectacular so definitely not worth putting up with all the above!

I got the avocado taco(the vegetarian option) which was a really nice filling but the flour tortilla was a bit too much and too dry. I don’t think they needed to be double wrapped. Pretty quick turnover, but not the fastest. Paid tax on the food which confused me… I don’t think I ever had on the other trucks

I must say that this was a disappointing experience. For a food truck with all the ingredients prepared, my tacos took 20 minutes to make. There was about 10 ppl waiting around during that time with not many incoming new orders. The food, for the price, was disappointing. For a few sprinkles of cheese, they charge another dollar. The food, by itself, was disappointing. The fish had good seasoning but was in square bit sizes and was overwhelemed by the bitterness and quantity of cabbage they added. The taco was also tiny — it takes 3 small bites to finish this 7 dollar taco. I doubt I’ll be coming back again.

Well… it’s Tuesday. So what does that mean? Taco Tuesday, thats right. Good for you! I had a complete hankerin’ for some tacoin’… and I was curious if TTT was going to be in Back Bay, so I checked out their twitter… and its right in Copley by the Library. TACOS! 3 tacos for $ 6.75 really can’t be beat. I ordered the Al Pastor which is a seasoned pork taco, with a spicy salsa verde, pineapple, cilantro, and pickled onion. Each taco is double wrapped with delicious warm corn tortillas.(So they don’t rip when you are gnawing at the delicious taco-ness). The salsa and seasoning have a good heat, and the pickled onion provides some great tang to the taco — - the pineapple cuts through all that with this great kick of sweetness. YES!!! This is a well crafted taco. Perspective: this. is. a. food. truck. So do not expect this to be some fancy upscale taco from some of the(other) amazing places in town. Food trucks are meant to be quick and easy lunches… but TTT does a great job at delivering tasty food, no frills, some HEAT in the seasoning, and all wrapped in really some delicious taco’ing. There can be a rush, and sometimes a wait, but each taco is assembled to order… I mean you don’t want to be eating some soggy-toritilla’d taco do you? I didn’t think so. Until next Taco Tuesday, TTT. Until next Taco Tuesday…

This is a reasonably good taco stand. Their fish tacos are a bit pricy for being a taco truck, but they hit the spot. I have not been able to find another place in boston that does fish tacos, so I really appreciate it being on the menu. The beans are among the worst beans I have ever tasted – just avoid them.

3 tacos at $ 6.50 was a nice lunch. Not super filling, but enough to get you through to the end of the work day. They are served on corn tortillas. I’m not a huge fan of corn tortillas, I find they can be dry/cardboardy. But the shredded pork and pineapple were delicious fillings. The line was a bit slow, and you end up waiting for your food around 15 – 20 minutes. Service could be faster!

Opted for the pollo asado torta and absolutely loved it! For a little under $ 7, I had a hearty freshly toasted torta sandwich, complete with smoky spicy pulled chicken, mashed flavorful black beans, creamy smooth guacamole and a nice crunchy onion/green pepper mixture all inside a warm toasty torta roll. Yes, I waited almost 20 minutes for a little sandwich at 3pm on a Sunday afternoon, but flavors were great and it hit the spot since I was craving something nourishing and flavorful.

Effin’ Stellar! Sis and Brother-in-law grabbed this delicous Orange monstrosity to cater the party for my Niece. This review may be a bit unfair as I didn’t have to worry about price, and the wait was merely family and friends, with as many returns as I could(eventually) waddle up to. HOUSING soft taco after soft taco, the delightful creations these champions of the semi-pocketed meats provided me with a sense of serenity I’d not experienced since relocating to the North Shore. The choice was limited(as per the catering instruction), the staff was mega-friendly and helpful, and seemed to be in awe of my repeated returns. Atmosphere had nothing to do with the truck, price is immaterial as it was a catered event. So, I’m left with taste, which above I believe wasn’t obscure, and service. They were great!
