4 stars for taste; 5 stars for service– I’ll give them a 4.5. I got a large jasmine milk green tea with bubbles with less sugar and the tea taste was very superb. You could definitely taste the tea in there. They must have changed their recipe since there was a review that said it tasted like powder. I really appreciated the fact that the owner(?) made sure that the drink was to my liking. He brought it out and asked me to taste it before leaving because he could adjust it if I didn’t like it. That is definitely something that I rarely see at bubble tea places, let alone a truck. I would come back but would just get the tea, not bubbles. The bubbles are just okay, but they lack a sweetness and chewiness that I miss from the bubble tea in California. Cash only!

I absolutely love this thing simply because they have a taro smoothie which is a pain to find. Taro milk teas are everywhere but most places I go to stick to green tea, red bean and fruit smoothies. I LOVE the taro smoothie. Yes, its cash only which can be a pain but a lot of small vendors still dont use credit cards so I dont find that too shocking.

I’ve had the good fortune of roaming into Chinatown while Tea Station was nearby twice so far and I haven’t been disappointed! I love both the mango and passion fruit tea with boba. The drinks are refreshing and the prices are great considering the size of the drink. I would recommend it :3 Also, be sure to bring cash — cash only: O!

We stopped by the Tea Station at SoWa this past weekend and were disappointed for several reasons. First cash only, i still find this ridiculous and need to deduct 1-star for that unless they really wow me. Unfortunately they did not. I simply wanted a flavored bubble tea. I’ve had some really good bubble tea in the Boston area before and it was a hot day so I figured i’d check the truck out. Unfortunately what i got was passion fruit flavored green tea with tapioca balls at the bottom. All bubble tea i’ve had in the past has been milk-based and more like a smoothie than a green/black tea drink. Overall, the flavor was not too bad which is why I’m giving two stars and not 1, but it was certainly not what i wanted or expected.

waste of money don’t bother. Only the bubbles were decent. I got a lychee black tea. I might as well have just ordered lychee sugared ice water! and all i taste is the lychee syrup and nothing else

Your choices: bubble tea, smoothie, or slush. I chose a smoothie. Got a small for 4.50, but since I wanted to mix two fruits together(mango and pineapple), they charged me 50 cents extra. My smoothie was a little too milky, so it tasted kind of odd. Oh, and if you don’t want bubbles in your smoothie, make sure you say so. Otherwise they will add them automatically. Cash only!

Can I put negative stars? 1. They do not take card. 2. They use powder and like gallon of water which is prob refilled with tap 3. Just bad. I peeked in the truck and I wish I could have canceled my order. I got the jasmine green tea with boba. Why the eff was my tea actually like a lime green? Jasmine green tea is supposed to be like tea color. Or slightly green. But it tasted so gross. Only good part was the boba but still. I feel like I toxicity my body taking that sip. I literally trashed it after after a taste.

They have a solid selection of drinks, but they’re not… that good? The boba was fine, and the green apple tea I got only vaguely tasted like green apple. While I understand that once in a while things can get quite hectic in food establishments(food trucks included), the service was poor — the man I ordered from snapped at customers and I waited more than 10 minutes for my drink while people who ordered after me got theirs. Buying from this place was only a good idea in theory. Will not be back.

Ever since food trucks came around, I’ve been crossing my fingers for a bubble tea truck. My wishes have finally been answered. And one that parks right outside the BF’s apartment 3 days a week? It’s as good as it gets. Tea Station has a wide range of flavors and the boba is a good consistency, not TOO chewy or sweet like Kung Fu Tea’s tends to be. I second the rec for the lychee green tea with lychee jelly. I’ve only found a few places that offer this flavor so it’s great that Tea Station does. Plus, the owner(manager?) is super nice. He gave me a large without extra charge since they had run out of the flavor I had originally wanted.

This place has awesome drinks and great desserts. Definitely try the lychee green tea with lychee jello or the jasmine green milk tea with boba!
