I’ve had food delivered from this location many many times and it’s always been fresh and tasty but I will never order again after my experience just now. I decided to pick up my turkey wrap on the way home and wasn’t greeted for about 2 mins which was fine because I had to use the restroom anyways. Oh my god it was disgusting! Toilet looked like it hadn’t been cleaned eve, and that should of been my first sign to leave. I returned to the counter and waited another 5 mins before anyone acknowledged me by saying 1 second(it was dead). I could see the reflection of the man assembling my wrap was not wearing gloves(yet another sign I shouldn’t have ignored). Now on to the actual turkey wrap itself, I always get the same thing and this was just gross. The meat was hot which I thought was weird because I didn’t ask for it heated but upon further inspection I realized I was eating ham. It was salty and def not turkey so I brought it back. The cook tried telling me it was turkey but I know it absolutely wasn’t, it was ham or it was rotten turkey, either way I got my money back without a hassle.

Called around 9pm on a Saturday– no answer, so we ordered online. Walked in to pick it up and even though there were 3 men in plain sight no one even acknowledged we were there. Once we flagged someone down they handed us a pizza(that turned out I be beyond bad) was oily, half cooked and with cheese that literally separated from the crust in one cheese-chunk. If you’re wondering why we picked it up… Apparently less than a mile is outside their delivery scope. First and last time…

GARBAGEPIZZA This is Grade D pizza at best. A few days ago, I picked up a buffalo chicken pie. The only thing I can say in its favor is, technically, it was pizza. All the components were there. But all the components were disgusting. Soggy, flavorless crust. Afterthought cheese. Buffalo sauce that tasted like buffalo piss. And worst of all — chicken purée that must have come out of a can from 1994. This place DOESNOT deserve your business. I can barely cook, but even I have made a pizza literally five times better than this toxic slop. Stay away forever.

Greasy, oily, floppy, low quality ingredients. Tried it once — never again.

This afternoon I ordered a pizza on-line from Pizza Pie-er in South Boston. When I arrived to pick it up at 7:30pm, it wasn’t ready. The man at the counter let me know if would be just 5 minutes more, but I got the feeling that the order hadn’t even been prepared at all. I asked him if this was the case and he LIED and said the pizza was just finishing up in the oven. He proceeded to go back into the kitchen and prepare my order thinking I couldn’t see him. After another 10 minutes passed, he came back out to let me know that it was taking longer than he thought because the pizza has vegetables. I called him out on his lie to me and let him know I would never be back. Had he just been honest with me, this review would not be necessary. Offering me a discount on my order would have also be appropriate, but instead I left 15 minutes later with a half-cooked, medium pizza. This pizza place is definitely off my list for good.

They messed up the order but what was delivered was good. I recommend the shrimp pizza. Substantial size pies and slices.

This pizza blew me away. Really good topping options and the crust is so good! The sauces are amazing as well. Gluten free options were delicious too. Definitely will order from here again.

People who worked on the phone and delivery guy were very nice, just not a good product. Pizza is not fresh, kind of tastes like frozen pizza.

Good stuff! Stopped by with my Dad because he’s a big fan of whole wheat crust pizzas. We got the shrimp pizza– nice juicy shrimp, lots of garlic, very tasty. They have lots of other pizzas that look good as well. Next time I’m up from Brooklyn and meet my Dad near South Station, we have a new go-to place.

I’m from Chicago and know good pizza and think thier pizza is excellent! The prices are a bit high but you get what you pay for. No complaints with service or delivery either!

This pizza is awesome for a small chain. They are very generous with the toppings and the variety of sauces and crusts they allow you choose from really is a bonus. I also have ordered online multiple times for a delayed pickup time(not right away) and the pizza has always been ready when I arrive hot a fresh. The only things keeping me from giving this place 5 stars is that the service is sub-par(can’t get a smile from the staff… however, they are not rude either) and the this crust pizza is not as crispy as I think a thin crust should be(though it is still delicious). Try this place out though, you won’t regret it!

I originally tried pizza pie-er when I noticed they had whole wheat and multigrain crusts and decent prices with promotions. It makes me feel a lil less guilty when I eat it. Unfortunately their actual nutrition facts aren’t listed online. Either way they have a very wide variety of unique toppings, and they’re pretty generous with each of them. Sometimes they oddly put the meat toppings under the cheese. So if you prefer it on top I’d mention that… No pun intended. All in all easily best pizza I’ve had around Southie/Dorchester.

Three words: Gluten. Free. Pizza. I have to order lunches for various teams at work, two of which include folks with gluten allergies. They can only eat so many garden salads with grilled chicken… Now that we’ve found Pizza Pie-er, I finally feel like I can give them an option.

Nothing bad to say STILL. I’m am so thankful that Pizza Pie-er opened up in my neighborhood. Pizza place after pizza place open up in South Boston and none of them are good. Real pizza, real ingredients, real good food! I constantly order from here and every time I have friends in town, this is my go too pizza place!

I think this place is super solid for pizza. They have a lot of great, fresh ingredients. I love their variety of sauces, especially the Walnut and Cajun sauces. I’ve yet to have a bad pizza from them, and have ordered at least a half a dozen times. I tend to like to experiment with ingredients, and trying a broccoli and prosciutto pizza on walnut sauce, I was extremely pleased with the results. I highly recommend experimenting and trying out stuff with their sauces, as everything tastes fresh and delicious. I think the only negative is they do tend to be on the pricier side than a typical neighborhood pizzeria; however, for the quality, I don’t mind the price. Also, if you order a lot online with them, they tend to send a bunch of offers(at least weekly), so it helps negate some of the premium you pay for the high quality of the pizza.

Personally, no problems with the pizza — in fact, our pizzas from them have been pretty good. Why the two star rating? Shady business practices. Second time we ordered here– I googled«pizza pie er» to get to their website. Their listing says«free delivery for online orders». I ordered online and the site still charged $ 2.50 for delivery. Not free. Not even mentioned on their website so why call it out on the google listing if not to lure people in under false pretenses? First time we ordered over the phone and picked up for the three medium pizzas and breadsticks special. They didn’t give us breadsticks and said it wasn’t part of the deal. Also, without the deals — the value is just not there. I’ll pass on being swindled out of my money and get pizza elsewhere.

Surprised at al the negative reviews. They had 2 medium Pizzas 3 toppings, bread sticks for 25 $. A fair price. Delivery was fast Bread sticks maybe some of the best. More of a pizza crust like texture loaded with garilic and seasoning. We got sausage, onion/pepper pizzas. Vegetables were fresh and crunchy. Sausage was amazing Definitely a high quality mozzarella cheese. UPDATE– Went there again, we went all thin crust, and the pizza actually came crispy. We got Extra Mozzarella cheese, sun dried tomato and a mushroon/pancetta. Extra Mozzarella– AMAZING, they use big slices not shredded. I will get this every time Mushroom/Pancetta-Amazing. Mushrooms were fresh, very good pizza. Sun Dried Tomato– Not very good. Problem with sundreid tomatoes is they burn. So they threw them on at the end, and what you get is HUGE portion of slightly chewet sun dreied tomatoes that fall off the pizza when you pick it up. TIP! Cook them under the cheese, they wont burn, won’t fall off, ans the colors will bleed through in a classy way. Not ordering this again. We got the Garlic bread sticks w/cheese this time… PERFECT.

Ordered two pizzas for pickup. Pizza was ready quickly and still hot when I arrived home. Pizza was good, buffalo chicken was hot and came with blue cheese on the side. The ‘Powerhouse Chicken’ was lacking however, it was a little bland and, oh yeah, they forgot add chicken. I called to see if it was a mixup and they said the chicken was shredded and under the sauce & cheese. I explained that there was chicken on one of my pizzas so I am more than capable of identifying chicken on a pizza. Mind you this specific pizza has«triple the chicken»… The guy on the phone assured me I was wrong and told me to have a good night. Basically owned me. So I turned to internet bashing. Sorry bro. #WheresTheBeef.AndChicken

Ordered two pizzas and jalapeño poppers for delivery. Pizza arrived without the blue cheese(it was a buffalo chicken pizza with blue cheese) and no jalapeño poppers. I discovered all of this after the delivery guy left and called him. I finally had to call the pizza place(which makes you listen to ads on the phone before you get a person… I felt like I was calling a credit card company.) I asked him to reverse the charge for the item we didn’t get and not to charge the tip because a tip is for service and I received poor service. They reversed the jalapeño popper charge, but did charge $ 2 for delivery AND the $ 4 tip I asked them to remove. I will not go back. Oh and the pizza wasn’t good and it was expensive.
