Great pizza, reminds me of my dad’s pizza when we used to own a pizza joint. The chicken fingers were great and full of flavor! Will be ordering from here again.

This is for the delivery option here. I doubt it is every driver if there is more than one, and there really should be after my experience tonight, and I’m sure under other circumstances things could have been great with Nick’s. I’m visiting in Boston and wanted to get something quick and heard Nick’s is god pizza and delivers. Enough for me. So we order, the pizza comes earlier than we expected apparently especially since it was so late at night and we were happy enough to get an order confirmed. I say apparently because the guy tonight calls us and says he’s outside our hotel. We scrounge up some bills as a tip and run down there and there’s no one. On the way there he calls us a second time, without even giving us enough time to get on the elevator. But whatever, he’s here. Turns out he went to the wrong place. We don’t even know if he was at a residence or hotel or place that was open. He was extremely rude to my sister, which is completely uncalled for regardless of how tired or whatever it is he was. It is your job, you operate this late, next time reconsider YOUR choices and don’t take it out on us. We haven’t eaten all day and we paid for the food online and still the guy doesn’t bring us our pizza and side order because it’s «too far» when it was less than 20 minutes. ANDHEMADE A MISTAKENOTUS. He was so rude and tried his hardest to refuse to call his boss to just deliver the pizza anyway and we could pay a little extra or a tip or even meet him near where he was instead(defeats the purpose of delivery but not everyone has common sense… obviously this guy didn’t). We finally found another open place close by our hotel so that we could get some late night food anyway. I get it. You had a rough day, it’s pretty late, your customers may be awful people more often than not, you probably hate your life and your job, but don’t take it out on us because of just asking for your to deliver our food. No one got mad, we just want our food and you failed us. I’m sure Nick’s is great otherwise, but whoever was delivering on August 2nd and 3rd(2015) in the evening and early morning(11:30pm to 12:30am) needs to learn how to talk to customers and deal with someone being fussy. Or get a different job. I have never had such bad experiences here in Boston or at any delivery place. And now I wouldn’t even be able to tell anyone if the pizza was good, which it sounded and looked like it would be of course, because some employee was having a bad day. Not even close to worth it for us to try again here. What an awful person. I hope he gets a new job, regardless of whether he was forced to or not. Disappointed.

Nick’s is my go to for some cheesy, Greek style pizza after a few buckets at the J. The Godfather pizza with fried eggplant, pepperoni, sausage and hot peppers is a must try but be sure to order it well done for a crispy and crunchy result! Nick and family are good people and love to see regulars, even after you’ve had one or two or more…

Chicken parmesan sub was very sub-par. I think it was processed chicken… But I ate it anyway. Fries… probably Ore-ida, but I ate them too. I hope their pizza is what earned them the 4 stars on Unilocal

This place gets the distinction of being the worst pizza I can ever remember… What’s with the crust guys… styrofoam? Awful! the chicken fingers were also in the worst category… a total waste of money and time!

Ok… I wanted to write this while its fresh in my head… and belly… First I want to say the the I had the food delivered and it arrive super quick and hot. I gave it an extra star for that. Kudos also for their attempt at home made onion rings… not the best I have had… but certainly better than the frozen«burger king» style alternative. As far as the pizza goes… we got a plain cheese. Everyone has their own preferences when it comes to pizza… some like crust thick or thin, greek style or italian… I could not say what style this was because it resembled none of those. The crust had a cardboard-like texture and had no flavor at all… when I bit it, and tried to chew… it broke up like dried up play-dough in my mouth… I actually hurt a tooth trying to eat it… The sauce was super salty… The cheese was pretty good. We also sampled a few apps. Chicken wings were not bad. Chicken fingers, burnt. Fries were crinkle cut and were average. Can’t say wether I would give this another go… probably not, unless I was starving. May be worth trying some of their other dishes or sandwiches

Nicks is the best pizza in southie I order from here weekly. The guys working are awesome too. They are always polite and quick. The place doesn’t look like much but it’s definitely a hidden gem.

Great place to grab Sunday football grub. Prices are low and they give you tonsss of food! Each entrée can feed at least 2 people. I got the fish and chips and the pastrami sandwich. I thought they were good but not amazing… but you can’t really expect gourmet flavors when everything is under $ 10. The service was friendly which was a plus!

Good pizza for pretty cheap. Great service, nice ambiance, offered a variety of spices that made the pizza.

I have only ate the steak and cheese and pizza here. I typically do not enjoy Greek style pizza, but this is a great crust. The steak and cheese is one of the best I have had. I want the secret ingredient! Service was quick too. Great spot!

Good subs. Great bean soup, on the days when the father of the family decides to make some.

Love Nick’s. They probably have the best pizza South Boston has to offer. My fav is the Miami — BBQ chicken, bacon, caramelized onions and cheddar mix with mozzarella. Definitely hits a spot. As a huge fan of fries I would stay away form their fries…

This place was surprisingly good! I did the $ 4.00 special. Two pieces of cheese pizza and a can of soda. They were two huge slices of yummy delish pizza! It was a great deal. The guy at the counter was friendly too. My only complaint is that the restaurant was like 100 degrees inside. We couldn’t even wait inside for the order. We had to stand out in the cold because it was so hot. I’m not saying warm. It was HOT. I would definitely recommend the food though! My fiancé got the chicken parm and he said it was great too.

The Good: 2 Large subs w/(real) Onion Rings or French Fries for under $ 10. Yes… you heard me, $ 10. I’ve tried pretty much every sub there and only had one disappointment. The tuna salad there is yummy, the chicken parm is made with freshly breaded chicken cutlets, fully loaded steak bombs and real onion rings made from real slices of onion… not like the frozen ones. I’ve also heard great things about their platers(a friend swears by their rice pilaf) and they actually batter their own fried fish. The Bad: I don’t like the pizza here… I’ve had slices and whole pies and I didn’t like either. Maybe my Pizza Radar is off or something but I think it’s gross. Also, they put Bologna on their Italian Sub… who does that??? YUCK! The Ugly: Since Nick’s is open late on the weekends this place can be a SHITSHOW. If you want to see a fight or two I recommend standing outside here one saturday night when the bars close… it’s reality TV at its finest.

Kept it simple over the weekend and enjoyed the self-proclaimed ‘Best Deal in South Boston’, which was two large cheese pizzas and a 2 liter of pop for $ 17($ 20 after tip, but that’s super reasonable in my book). The pizza was actually really good and the delivery was prompt — obviously it’s hard to mess up cheese pizza, but you could definitely taste the sauce that made their pizza uniquely-good-flavored. My roommate and I are currently in the hunt for our go-to football Sunday delivery joint and Nick’s has definitely made a realllly good first impression. Will be ordering again soon. (I didn’t get into it, but they have several really awesome looking specialty pizzas.

I can’t believe this place only has 8 reviews… Anyways, if you are one of the few people, like myself, who does not eat fried shit food at the beach, this is probably your only option at Revere Beach. And I’ve never seen a pizza place have so many salad options. I got a Chicken Kebob Salad and I honestly don’t know how they make money because it was $ 7.75 and there was a pound of chicken on it. If you aren’t a salad eater, they have calzones, subs, and a ton of other stuff.

Save me from my lazy self that has fallen victim to their two slices and a can of soda for $ 4 special only steps from my apartment! These guys are super nice. They’ve certainly come to recognize me… The décor should indicate this is not the ritz, just good ‘ol, affordable, greasy food. My boyfriend really liked the chicken & Alfredo with broccoli. Their menu is huge, and I have yet to sample all of their many vegetarian options. We were delighted the other night with a large pizza with extra garlic, cajun fries with cheese and garlic bread all for around $ 18. As a Cape Codder, I’d be lucky to leave a pizza joint with a pizza for that price. It’s all relative. If you need a quick bite of pizza, or some other filling, yummy bite to eat, and you’re not expecting an ultra gourmet experience, then Nick’s is your place.

NIck’s pizza is delicious. I get here whenever I’m back in town. I usually get a small cheese, made fresh, and it’s always perfect. Stopped in for a slice the other day, was still warm — no need to reheat. Gooey cheese, sweet, tangy sauce. Yum. This is Greek style pizza — expect that. Don’t think I’ve ever had a sub here. I see reviews for their sub deals… whatever — this is a pizza joint. Some of the best in Southie, certainly the best on lower Broadway. Don’t change, Nick’s!

Not bad, not bad. Sub deal — two large subs and fries or onion rings for $ 8.95($ 1 cheaper than McGoo’s deals — I heard that McGoo’s is horrific anyway). I had the meatball sub. Sauce is on the sweet side, but that was fine considering there was 1 lb. of salty cheesy goodness piled high on the sub. Also good, the pizza. The crust was awesome(again, just the overly sweet sauce to contend with). They had very good mozzarella sticks as well. Buyer beware: the sub deal is only for pick-up, not delivery.
