Munch mobile kitchen was serving breakfast at Night Shift Brewery fora recent bottle launch. The products were interesting but overall very good. The service was friendly and helpful. The breakfast potatoes were some of the best I’ve had, and were mixed with fried eggs and an herb aioli– and it worked. We are very much looking forward to trying them again for a lunch/dinner menu.

Ok. Not expecting such a delicious tostada from a food truck, but this pork tostada is fantastic! Bought this @Night Shift Brewing and will definitely get it again.

The chicken sliders were pretty soggy and the sobe noodles had too much oil and not much taste. Very salty(cheese and very salty pickled cucumbers on the sliders) had me up all night. For $ 16 I could’ve probably gotten a more than decent meal anywhere else. They should spend as much time tasting their food as they do making it look good. Not going to these guys again.

Ordered from Munch at Night Shift Brewery and it was amazing! The pork tostadas, black bean cornbread w/jalapeño butter, and chicken sliders were the most delicious foods I’ve had in a long time, and definitely the best food truck fare I’ve ever sampled. The portion sizes are perfect for making your own custom combo platters to share with friends.

Know what goes well with a Night Shift brew and 5lb of Haribo gummi bears? Munch does. A braised pork tostada with Vermont cheddar, radicchio and a sriracha-spiked crema, and a toasted black bean cornbread with jalapeño butter hit the monkey friskin’ spot at $ 14. The eclectic menu and gourmet vision reminds me of Box Kitchen in SF( ) — comfort food, elevated. Next up, wild boar meatballs or the BBQ chicken sliders in duck fat confit. Because why not? The execution is spot on, the price is fairish(a smidge higher than expected) and while the quantity isn’t the typical food truck yield, it’s bistro caliber. Pretty chill dudes, too. Cards welcomed; sporks for all dishes. 4.5 stahs.

The best item of the day from the Providence/Boston Food Truck Showdown came from The Munch Mobile. This car won my vote for best food truck. Purely due to their unique donuts… This truck made a maple syrup glazed donut, filled with bacon! Yes, Bacon! It was amazing, soft, moist, and packed with flavor. Slightly over priced for a donut hole($ 3), but the most flavorful donut I’ve ever tasted. Well worth the experience.

So badass. The best hangover or pre-hangover food ever, and one of the best food trucks around Boston(regardless of your blood alcohol content). Super funky cool app-type stuff with a Ron Swanson-caliber amount of game meat, and the chefs are really chill and interesting. Obsessed on all counts.

Good, but you don’t get a lot of bang for your buck. Prices generally run above $ 10 for very modest(but well-constructed) portions. $ 9 gets you the bruschetta with a spread of salmon, ricotta, and relish — see photos for an idea of the size. It definitely wasn’t bad, but there weren’t any strong or interesting flavors. Considered the cheapest item, the meatballs, for $ 8, but you only get 3 of them. I can’t see myself spending this much for these portions a second time, but if you’re good with spending somewhere around $ 12 or $ 13 for lunch(Chicken Salad Sliders, green bean poutine), you’ll get a reasonably satisfying meal.
