It’s a small place but given its location(inside the super 88 market in Allston) so I don’t blame it. The service is good – lots of smiles. The drinks are similar to other lollicup places but the one thing that I’ve noticed is that this is place serves mini bobas on the daily instead of just weekends like the one near where I live. The mini bobas is a good change from the usual sized ones. But they tend to get stuck in the straw sometimes. The boba themselves taste chewy and not hard like some other places. I got the Thai iced tea with the mini bobas and it wasn’t too bad.

I hate this place, it is SOBAD. I’m always disappointed. All of their ingredients come from POWDER and are not fresh. It is so overpriced and they only accept cash. I got an avocado snow, and they said it was from fresh avocado(it definitely wasn’t). It just tasted like cream, could barely taste ANY avocado. Don’t waste your money here.

Ive had a lot of bubble tea in my lifetime and this was ok. I ordered the taro milk tea hot with less sugar and my friend ordered the jasmine milk tea. I thought my taro was super sweet even though I asked for less sugar. The flavoring was not as strong as it should be. It’s also cash only so if you don’t have 6 dollars in your pocket you can forget about it.

Lollicup tried a cool thing with mini boba… But failed. The lighting at super 88 is kinda dingy and fails to brighten up the usual cup of boba taro milk tea. However, the mini bubbles kind of have a weird chemical taste to them and makes me feel like I am choking on them. I didn’t actually order my own cup but I got to try three different flavors from friends’ orders and that is definitely sufficient to review about the mini bubbles.

I had an unrelenting craving for Boba so I opened my Unilocal app to find a tea place near me. I saw that there’s one in the Super 88 food court so rushed over to get some milk tea with tapioca. The guy at the register was very nice but unfortunately the drink didn’t match the great service. The tea itself was good but the boba was pretty hard which ruined the drink for me and I couldn’t even finish it. Other reviewers have had different experiences so I will probably return another time and hope for softer/chewier tapioca.

I hadn’t come here in awhile because I didn’t think it was as good as the many other boba places that have popped up in the area… But it was pretty good the last time I came! The boba was nice, chewy, and sweet! The milk tea could have been less sweet… But that’s my fault, I forgot to request for the milk tea to be not as sweet! We also had ordered red bean shaved ice. which I didn’t know they had. Very good! Had lots of sweetener and red bean on top. I really enjoyed this. If I’m ever in super 88 and craving boba or shaved ice, I know I don’t have to go all the way to Allston to get it now!

I’m a boba tea addict and usually love to explore different boba tea places in Boston. This one is one of my favorite. I think the price is a tiny bit more expensive than places like Kung Fu Tea, but I come here for 2 drinks that other places don’t have — Peppermint Green Tea & Bailey Milk Tea. Both are yummy. The service is fast and everyone always are friendly. Will always come back here for those delicious drinks!

Ordered an unsweetened milk tea, I’ve never had such kind of disgusting drink in my life, it totally tastes like sugar + water.

Eh, it’s alright. Ridiculously expensive for what you get. They use powder for majority of their drinks, even milk tea! Come on, don’t be lazy and brew some tea! If you want a real shake and fruit drink, go to Chinatown(it’ll be cheaper too)! But if you’re around the area and craving for boba then sure, come here and spend more than you should!

This place had some of the best bubble teas I have had in a while! I got a classic Milk-tea with mini boba and my friend got a strawberry smoothie with medium sized boba and we both loved it! This was the first time Ive ever ordered mini boba and it was awesome. It wasn’t clumpy or inconsistent in texture like some places can be if they don’t have a great turnover rate. The tea itself was delicious and perfectly sweet. My friend loved his strawberry smoothie, which was made with freshly cut strawberries, and the medium sized boba was good too. The staff was very friendly to us, and the location within the food court makes this a great spot for dinner and desert! Definitely a fun location for a date night or for eating with a few friends, I hope to be back soon!

Great place to catch a refreshing drink! The staff and service has always been solid with addition to having awesome cold drinks on a hot Summer’s day. Located front and center within the 88 food court, Lollicup sets out and meets expectations every time that I am there. Staff is alert and attentive and always repeats my order back to me to ensure that no mistakes were made. Have been coming here on and off for the last couple of years and they have yet to disappoint me! Be sure to try the Taro Milk tea with boba and a side of their popcorn chicken!

I have had it with the rude, nasty employees here! They are a cash only business and don’t have simple change for a $ 20 bill. When I tried to pay, the girl first rudely asked me why I couldn’t pay with a smaller bill. She then attempted to short me $ 2 and give me all the $ 1 bills in the drawer. When I said I would get change and come back in a moment she didn’t want to give me my $ 20 bill back and didn’t say thank you when I returned with exact change. There is a new tea place up the street named Limoo. I can’t wait to try them and not have to deal with rude staff any longer! I’ve had too many rude, frustrating experiences here. I wish it were possible to give 0 stars!

I ordered a Boba milk tea and the boba was a medium size and medium chewy soft. Overall I think it’s a typical taste you get from a boba place.

If you are looking for some boba that’s conveniently close to your apartment, this place does the job. It’s not as expensive as kungfu tea and it tastes alright. I would say their best drink is its thai tea boba or the thai tea boba slush. Make sure to ask for their point collection card! Once you received enough stamps you’ll be able to claim one free drink of any kind!

This place is not too far from my apartment, and apparently I come her so often I don’t always have to give my name. :D My favourite flavour is taro and honeydew slush mixed together. Yum!

Gross. All I tasted was milk in my tea and a synthetic sweet flavor.

I’ve only been here a few times, but I have to say that I love the tapioca milk teas. There are tons of options on the menu from smoothies, to slushes, to basic bubble teas. The menu offers tons of add-ons for your tea such as tapioca, jelly, and pudding. Today, I ordered a bubble milk green tea, which was amazing! I really liked how they asked if I wanted skim, whole, or soy milk — most places haven’t given me this option before in my bubble tea. I’ve asked other bubble tea shops in Boston what kind of milk they use and I’ve been told powdered milk. As a person who has been dieting, I would rather know how many calories I will be drinking, especially when it comes to milk. I would definitely give this place a try, if you haven’t already. It’s delicious and refreshing! Enjoy

I always need a drink after phở! This place is pretty decent and fast. I don’t usually get boba, but I really like their lychee green tea with less sugar. It’s kind of weird bc I’ve ordered that drink multiple times, and once they made it with lychee jelly but I didn’t want it. They fixed it right away tho and didn’t give me any probs. This place always seems busy and is a solid place for some tea. I haven’t tried their snacks since I’m usually always getting phở, but some day… Oh, it’s cash only so be sure to have that!

3.5 stars Review only for a green tea with honey. I have yet to try any of the bobba/bubble teas. That will be next time. It just felt a little cold to go for one of those. The green tea with honey was stellar, the only dock for stars is that it’s a little bit pricey for inside this little super 88 food court. They were super friendly though, and I’ll be back. FYI — cash only
