Great hookah, great staff. Moroccan tea and blueberry mint tobacco gonna make your evening.

Feels like I’m back on my trip to Istanbul. Really great ambience and setting with fast service. They make sure to change the coals often and keep the smoke smooth and thick. Solid place. Just don’t get the flatbread, not so good. Probably will try some of the other food based on recommendations from the waitress.

Man such a bummer I had to leave 2 stars but my goodness the service here on a weeknight was just so terrible. Seems to me like being one of the only Hookah lounges in MA really has gotten to the management’s head. They were only kind or personable to their own known friends. There was a man there last night with glasses on his iphone who seemed to maybe be a manager and another one with a red baseball cap who acted as a bouncer and coal guy. When we came to the front he briskly asked for IDs. I asked him if it was busy inside since I am a friendly and he shrugged his shoulder like an ignorant ass. Furthermore he went in, leaned against the front podium and gestered with a single open palm in the direction of an open seating shared by another guy. I had NOIDEA that this person was even showing us where to sit. It seriously looked like he was leaning against this counter thing at the entrance with his back to us and that’s it. Anyways. Later on I asked to have my sheesha bowl adjusted and the red baseball cap guy knocks over coals onto the poor guys sitting next to us. Sparks everywhere and burned smell. He did not seem sorry at all and barely mumbled an apology. I remember coming here long ago when a guy named Basil used to work, the boy gave good service. Those days seem to be long gone. Since they opened up the cave next door service has done to shit. Since this is one of the only sheesha places in Boston I may go back. If the service gets better I am open to updating this review. 1 star for semi-decent Al Fakher mint sheesha. They do not use the best quality sheeshas. I would know I am a sheesha connoisseur.

Arrived and greeted on the street by two strung out junkies hanging out in front of the stairs leading to this place, bad sign already. My date and I walk into this below ground dark cave which is poorly ventilated and are told we need to sit with another group already toking away. A group of cab drivers(their cars were all parked out front) who look as though they haven’t bathed or shaved in over a week. Meanwhile, the other side of the bar is completely empty but not open to customers. There were other booths that weren’t as busy but we weren’t offered a seat there. Finally someone was leaving and they seated us. Couches are nasty, stained and torn. Service is very slow! The place is not well ventilated and the other patrons will blow smoke in your general direction, which is just rude and ignorant. As we are halfway into our hookah another unkempt slob walks in and plops his fat hairy carcass down next to my date(didn’t ask if he could sit with us or even acknowledge our presence) and just about sits on her purse. No concept of personal space here. He gets his hookah and right on cue blows his smoke in our general direction while fumbling with his three cell phones. In walks a group of women all dressed in hijabs and they are seated in their own private corner. Place is full of a bunch of rude scumbags. The hookah itself was awful. Very strong and not at all like the flavor advertised. Drink service was very slow and the tea and coffee in this place is disgusting. I had to wait twenty minutes for the check and finally got tired of waiting. I insisted on paying and getting out as quickly as possible. As we exited all the patrons gave us a very unwelcome glare. Once outside our clothes and hair wreaked of smoke. Place sucks! There are much better options in and around Boston. Not many, but definitely better.

It was very pricy for the ambiance… they cram you in with other people and the wait is quite long too.

We went in with 5 people, two of us were not smoking, and we were told that two of us HAD to leave or we had to pay for another $ 25 hookah. Not coming back.

I have been smoking hookah in lounges and at home for well over a decade so I know a good bowl. They prepared their hookah right, it smoked good but the flavor I got double Apple.(my personal staple) was flat and it didn’t taste like double Apple at all. Not sure if it was just stale from sitting out or if they didn’t really use al faker like they said they do. It was enough for me to decide to not go back. If you do want to check this place out though I will say that I liked the over all feel of the place. It was the most hookah lounge like in the Boston area. They also have the best Moroccan mint tea I have had in Boston yet. This is also a good place if you are on a budget because they have the lowest cost and they offer additional heads at a refill price.

They make you buy 2 hookahs if you are in a group of 4. Doesn’t matter if only you are there to smoke and the rest are there for the company or tea. Ridiculous style of business. Closed room full of smoke

This place might not have the fanciest décor or atmosphere, but the people that work there are friendly and attentive. I love their food items. The cheese flat bread is «delish» as well as the grape leaves. Free refills on hot tea!!!(the more the merrier)

I grew up in a far away land enjoying nargilah for a fraction of the US prices so it was quite difficult to adjust to these standards. But I am finally able to say this place is as close to the original experience as it gets. The Middle Eastern background music, good quality tobacco(they use Al-Fakher), friendly staff, great good(try kibbeh), authentic seating area(they have divan), great tea with unlimited refills, great clouding hookahs, what is not to love?! Only two suggestions to the management: it would be great if we could just add our own sugar to the tea, it was too sweet for some of us. And secondly, I’d love to have the ice add-on option for the base. Overall I loved Habibi and see myself as a future regular.

Habibi’s is my favorite hookah bar in the Boston area by far. It’s very authentic and super cozy. The atmosphere is warm and the service is generally excellent, if it’s not a packed weekend night. They usually play really catchy Arabic music. They have a wide range of shisha flavors and the cheap, unlimited tea is definitely a plus. I recommend orange mint!

This is a really fun place to just chill and hang out with your friends! I don’t usually do hookah, but when I do, this is the spot that I always recommend because it is such a low-key/relaxing/fun/chill place. They have a variety of different flavors. I don’t go here often enough to recommend good flavor combinations but I do recommend the mint & apple combination. It worked really well for me and gave me almost zero headache at the end of the night which was amazing! Also, if you plan to go with a group of friends, order only one cup of their house tea. They refill it often enough that you can share it amongst your friends.

My favorite hookah place ever. The atmosphere is great — dark red lighting, super lush comfy couches with pillows, really encourages the lounging aspect. They are also always blasting Middle Eastern music, which is great. I hate hearing Miley Cyrus and Rihanna and club music in general but most especially while hookah-ing. There is usually a long wait if you’re there weekends/late night, but they’re super efficient and will take your phone number and call when they’re ready. There are some bars and cafes and a mcdonalds around at which to wait. Also they recently expanded so there are more seats, and there is an «express» corner if you will be there for an hour or less. THETEAISAMAZING.

I started coming here my freshman year of college with a bunch of friends. It has an authentic middle eastern air, awesome, loudish, music, a must have black tea and hummus with quality sheesha. Be ready to wait if you’re coming later in the evening during the weekend, waits can usually vary from one to two hours. You can request an express table; you have to be in and out in like an hour and you receive a small discount on your hookah. The only qualms that I have with this place is that they’re strict about their 18+ at the door policy. Even if you’re in your thirties and don’t bring a valid ID, you’re not getting in. A tad ridiculous, they should consider lightening up on that policy.

I’m sure having hookah-ed in New York made me spoiled but my experience here was just okay. I haven’t been to any other hookah places in Boston so I can’t really compare. I came on a Saturday so it was pretty packed with college freshmen and older people alike. When there is a wait, the guy says that you have to wait 30 – 45 minutes, at most an hour, which is complete blasphemy because who would wait that long for hookah? They take your number down and ask you to leave until they call you. When it is late at night, it is hard to find a place to go except the McDonalds upstairs. Luckily I had a party of two and I had a spot in line so I was seated as soon as my friend came to join me. We had our own little corner so that it was nice compared to the other tables who had multiple parties crammed in together. We ordered mango hookah and tea; the tea was refreshing and flavorful and the hookah was hookah. I was a little disappointed that they didn’t have alcoholic beverages but that’s probably best for the younger crowds and that might be a New York privilege. The ventilation is actually really great here unlike a bunch of indoor places I have been to. The service was friendly. My friend was a regular so it’s possible we got special treatment. Our cups were often refilled and our coals were often renewed without our asking. Brownie points for that! Besides the wait and multiple parties sharing tables, I have to say that the other biggest downside of this place is the bathroom. I don’t know what happened but there was a huge puddle on the floor. There was a bucket and mop there as if it were the customers’ job to clean it up. Gross. Finding parking here is a pain so definitely try taking the MBTA to Harvard Ave if you can. The location is not that hard to find(downstairs from the McDonalds). I would come back again but only if I had a small party and probably with this same friend.

Nice place to hang out and hookahs are of the best quality here. House tea and nuts are the best combination ! Can’t ask for more! There are other hookah lounges too, but this is the best one with good quality of flavors. Go for it folks. You will love it. Better for groups

I had a good time here, the selection of flavors is good sized. The white gummy bear we picked had a great taste and there were many more we wanted to try. Unfortunately, though it wasn’t too much of an inconvenience, we were immediately seated in the«express» area. We weren’t given much information other than instructions to sit there for a maximum time of 1 hour. Not thinking much of it, we placed our order, got hooked up, and smoked. We were seated with a party that was already there before us and 10−20min later, a staff member came to them with their bill and they were told they had 2mins left. It looked like it came as a shock to them that they were being told to leave when they clearly wanted to spend more time there. They asked for an extension or if they had any other options. The staff member was hesitant and said she would double check. Fortunately for them, they were allowed to extend their time. When our time was up, we received the same bill and 2min warning. The guys next to us scoffed and said something about how they should be letting us stay longer. The combination of us not wanting to go through the hassle of convincing them to extend our time and the fact that hookah does nothing for us led to us just leaving after the hour. I would return but more so for the atmosphere than for the effect. The mix of all the smells was enjoyable and pleasant and being among friends is relaxing even if hookah doesn’t have an effect. I just wish they would tell us more about express versus normal or how people can go in without time limits.
