Yet another Boston park, it’s quite big with a lot of trees and a big fountain in the middle. I came across it on my way back home, some benches to sit down and not very crowded.

Not as big a fan as of Blackstone Square , but certainly not a bad option for a respite on a nice day.

This is Blackstone Parks sketchier identical sister just across the street, but miles apart. I chalk up the darker, seedier feeling of Franklin Park to it having more trees and thus being darker and less lush due to the shadows. In the 80s/90s it was called the Jesus Saves park(after the church that used to face it) or just Crack Park. Believe it or not, THIS is an improvement. While I personally don’t find it unsafe, despite it being the exact same size, with the exact same layout an exact same fountain(recently upgraded to a recycling. Fountain that actually works!), Blackstone is just a nicer place to be. But sometime the darker, sibling can be interesting too, Y’know?
