I went to eat here almost everyday from 2014 – 2015 before they closed down. Love their hot dogs and the Sampler Platter. The people over there were very cool and treated me nice. I wish the food court in general didn’t close down. The food was great.

I got a burger here one time. Huge rip-off. $ 10 for a burger that should have cost $ 6 for the size it was and $ 3 for the quality it was. Will not return.

We had crispy checkin burger & cheese beef burger, both were fascinating. They are clean and very kind. I’d have lunch here every time I come to the Prudential Center.

Had their bacon egg and cheese breakfast sandwich. Was freshly made(you watch them make it), and you have the option of adding on any toppings/little additives when they’re about to wrap it up. I got the guacamole(which was spicy). It came out well.

I was pleasantly surprised at how fresh and tasty everything was here. The sandwich I ordered, a chicken«Philly» sandwich, started traditionally, but they allowed me to add all the additional toppings they wanted — again all incredibly fresh and tasty, including the bun. My sandwich received one of my favorite praises, «Messy good.» The people behind the counter were friendly and helpful. I am not surprised that there was a line here and almost no one at nearby competitors.

I had a fireman’s cheesesteak here and it was big and greasy and cheesy and glorious. They even indulged me with raw onions and were cheerful about it, instead of acting like I was bothering them with my special request. I asked for extra jalapeños and omg did I get extra jalapeños. I could barely finish the sandwich it was so spicy, but the pain was so good. On top of that the Cajun fries were great too — crispy, spicy and covered in Cajun rub, so I had a great accompaniment to a great cheesesteak. No complaints here, except for my face was burning afterwards. But again, the pain was so good!

This place is very expensive for what offers. Not going to spend too much time writing this review, but i just wanted to point out that its honestly very expensive for what they offer. The food here is slight better than average but i don’t know if i would pay for the high prices.

The best thing is the freshness of the food. Everything is made to order. The home fries are awesome and the staff are super friendly. My fave Burger is the smokehouse.

Hi. I go to flamers about 4 mornings per week for breakfast. They make the most delicious omelettes. Try the Mexican omelette — it’s huge and healthy and delicious. The people who work at flamers are wonderful people and take pride in their product. I highly recommend flamers for breakfast.(Wish they opened before 7:30, however). I don’t go to flamers for other meals, as I’m not in the vicinity during other times of day.

This is my husband’s favorite restaurant in the Pru food court, so we stop by every time we’re there around meal time. It’s a burger place. Don’t come here if you want low cal food.(I ordered a grilled chicken wrap here once, and the employee at the grill didn’t know how to fold a wrap so it spilled everywhere.) Bacon cheese fries are delicious & the burgers are OK.

(score 1 – 100) — 70. or 3.5 stars… ok.ok. One of the few places in the city that you can get a OPENFLAME cooked burger! It is made to order… want some lettuce, tomato, onions… done… want double cheese… check… Do you like having your hot dog blackened a little… they’ll do it! Great little sleeper of a place and for charbroiled. I’ve had their grilled chicken sandwich as well and it is good but not as good as their burger.

I don’t know why it took me so long to write a review for them. I ve been eating at least 40 times at their establisment. 90% of the time I order Mushroom Cheesesteak — it’s amazing and they charge $ 8 for it. I alos like their hamburgers. They are doing a great job!

ATTENTIONALLMYPHILLYPEOPLES If you are looking for anything close to a cheesesteak(which I’m damn sure you won’t find anything like here in Boston) — this is the place to GO! Especially the chicken ones. And they have all different types too(buffalo, california, peppers, onions„ mushrooms). The meat is chopped fine and served on a roll that is very close to an amoroso roll. The onions are chopped fine too. Get the buffalo style, it is very good. I mean it is nothing near a true cheesesteak, but if you even need something close to a taste, this will do.

With a name like Flamer’s Burgers and Chicken, you’d imagine that this place would serve up some really nice all-American food. Boy was I wrong… Not one of the people working there spoke decent English. I mean, if I wanted to order something that’s right there on the menu, there’s no reason why I have to repeat it 3 times for you to get my order right, and then have you scream my order in Spanish to the other employees working there. The burger was mediocre, and rather dry even though it had ketchup and mustard on it. The guy who gave me my toppings seemed to hate his job, and they are very cheap with the toppings. I asked for pickles and onions. They gave me two slices of pickles, and two rings of onions. I mean, come on, I’m paying $ 7+ for a burger. The only slightly redeeming quality of the meal were the fries. I’d imagine that they would be mediocre as well seeing the quality, but my fries came fresh out of the fryer so they were pleasantly crispy.

The food is really good. But I just can’t warrant paying $ 5 for an order of small fries. For an order of 4 chicken strips, fries and a drink we spent $ 12. For that money you should go to Kelly’s. At least their small fries can feed the entire room.

Well, it’s a little embarrassing that I have the most check-ins here — I don’t even eat hamburgers. But I have come here a few times to grab an egg and cheese sandwich in the morning. So I’ve checked in for that. It’s a solid price — 3.31 or so – and it’s freshly made on your choice of English muffin, bagel, or whole wheat toast. I go for the muffin. As for my rating, well, it’s fine as a breakfast stop, but their lack of even a veggie burger on the menu makes it a non-option for me for lunch or dinner. Plus one star for the consistently friendly staff at this location. –K

How much would you pay for an over cooked… errrr fried chicken patty, boring french fries and a medium soda? If you go to Flamers expect to pay $ 9.36 for this junk. If I paid BK or Wendy’s prices it wouldn’t seem so bad. I’ve had the burgers in the past, they’re the best thing on the menu but that’s not saying much. The only good thing about Flamers is you tell them what toppings to put on, and the counter help was very friendly. This isn’t a place I’d go out of my way to eat at, but if you’re in a hurry while at the Pru, and don’t mind spending about $ 10 for $ 5 fast food then it’s worth a shot.

Flamers is one of the food establishments at the Food Court inside the Prudential Center. After having a cup of the Boston Chowda Boston Clam Chowder next door — I was still hungry. So I zeroed in on the fact that Flamers has Chili Cheese Dogs — AND that you can get a lot of other toppings! I ordered the Chili Cheese Dog — with chopped onions and jalapenos added. Overall meatiness of the dog was good — with a slight hint of that brininess one wants in a good dog. The bun could have been a tad softer, chili, cheese and toppings were all good! Jalapenos had a nice bite to them! Definitely would order the Chili Cheese Dog here again!

Flamers. Hmmm. Certainly sounds like it should be in the South End… A new gay bar in town? Actually, Flamers is a fantastic little food court burger shop. The burgers are cooked over an open-flame grill, giving them the best charbroiled flavor. Big, filling, and delicious, you also get to choose your toppings. Pickles, onions, mayo, mustard, relish, whatever you please they will load on top your beef. Fries = super crispy and delish. Service = A-ok. Will I go again? Absolutely.

My roomie at the time would love getting a quick burger from here. This is one of the places where I’d keep going back and giving it another chance — thinking I would change my mind and love it. That never happened.
