If you order any food item in here that requires any preparation — at all — I hope you bring a book. They are slow and get overwhelmed as soon as a couple orders start backing up on their screen. Need just a drink? You are in and out — as it should be.

Located under the Government Center Garage, this Dunkin Donuts has entrances on either side(Merrimac St. under the overhang, and John F. Fitzgerald Surface Road on the side facing the North End), but ZEROSEATING. The line moved fine, although I didn’t care too much for my order — the newly nationalized Glazed Donut Breakfast Sandwich $ 2.99 with bacon and eggs. It was much too soft. I like my sandwich to have a chew or some resistance. And the bacon(I prefer crispy) did not put up much of a salty fight against the sweet donut glaze. Paying $ 1.99 for milk is what I get for not getting my daily dose of dairy at home. A «No Loitering/15 minute limit» sign caught my eye. Not the most welcoming, but it might be due to its urban location by the T.

How can this D/D get more than a star, this one along with the one on Canal St are junkie hang out spots, they go to Baycove get their pink liquid then go to Dunkin to sell and trade pills, then get a large iced coffee with 18 sugars so they can stay awake and Dunkin puts up with them

1st off, they know my order so they never make me speak before 9 in the morning. 2nd off, they make the coffee for you, you drink it. None of this putting in your own milk and sugar bullshit they do at other places. 3rd off, the staff here is f-ing ridiculous. They’re by and far the greatest group of D&D staff there must be in the world. There’s crackheads everywhere in this place and they still are the quickest line-movers and smiling the whole time. 4th off, it’s Dunks. I live there. If you are close to here and have 6 or 7 options of which Dunkin’ Donuts to go to — choose this one.

One of the quickest Dunkin’ Donuts I’ve ever been to. Upon walking in and seeing the intimidatingly long line in the morning, one would think they’d be a half hour late getting to the office if they waited. Not here. In and out in under three minutes. «Bobby» is one of the best servers I’ve ever had. He knows exactly what I want — based on season — and has it ready for me before I get to the counter. Service on the weekend is less reliable, but I still go. Make this your morning stop.

Honestly, the BESTDD I’ve been to in my life. I’ve never seen any store operate the way this one does. There are always at least 10 people behind the counter quickly moving FOUR long lines of customers made up of commuters from North Station, passengers from Haymarket, walkers in the financial, and whoever else… the point… it’s busy here! But despite the busy location, the registers are constantly sounding off as cash is changing hands and food is being disbursed. I would never expect a downtown Boston DD to operate faster than the DD’s near my house in quiet little ol’ North Andover. This place is amazing. If you work in the financial and need to grab something quick because it’s 10 minutes until 9:00am, you should try out this DD. It’s what I do when I’m in a rush and I know the Dunkins directly across from my office won’t cut it – it’s faster for me to walk all the way here and get coffee than it is for me to wait in line at the Dunks I can see from my office lobby.
