Commonwealth Children’s Center

My 20 month old has been at CCC since he was just over 6 months old. He is absolutely thriving. The individualized attention he gets from the staff is helping him learn so much every day. Some days he comes home and surprises me with new skills or words that he learned that day (there is no way he has learned it all from meor his dad). The teachers and staff are amazing. They clearly care about each child and want them all to grow, thrive, and succeed. In addition, they have their own large, private playground right in the city — a rarity by all accounts. With regard to the prior reviewers, I agree that CCC is kept incredibly clean (the below reference to rats seems like nothing more than fear mongering). I also find Beth (the Director) to be warm, caring, polite and always professional. She is also incredibly dedicated to making CCC the best place that it can be and strives tirelessly to see it achieve the highest of standards. I am so thankful for CCC. It has truly been a gift to my family and me.

This is an incredible childcare center! My eldest daughter just ‘graduated’ and is absolutely thriving in her first three weeks of kindergarten. My youngest has been there since she was three months and goes into spasms of joy every time we walk in the door. Beth and the staff do an absolutely amazing job and care deeply for the children. With regard to the prior reviewer, all I can say is that the center is kept incredibly clean ALL THE TIME and Beth (the Director) is warm, caring, polite and professional. The fact that the wait list is incredibly long also speaks volumes for CCC. The center is also a non-​profit, so the focus is on the children as opposed to making money for owners or investors. I wholeheartedly recommend Commonwealth Children’s Center to anyone seeking quality childcare in Boston.

The executive director (Beth Sagan) was beyond RUDE!
I would not feel comfortable having our son attend the daycare especially seeing rat traps around the play area which is above the dumpsters!
