umm no! I gave this place three!!! tries and all three of them i was let down. Im not a huge fan of their work. The place is small, cozy, decent looking but they dont have the best techniques when it comes down to full sets and such.

So I didn’t have such a good first time here for nails but the other day I came for a wax and it was really good so I’m returning back here for their waxing. The lady was very nice since it was my first time and we even laughed. That is the best when they can do that, so my doubts about this place are slowly going away. :)

This place was recommended to me by SEVERAL friends. I wish not… I arrived around 12:00pm on a Sunday afternoon with my 13y.o. sister, and quickly noticed how tiny and dirty the place was. I also ignored the fact there were only 3 employees on the floor(two at the pedicure station, and the owner, Cindy, applying a full set). I was going to get a pedicure and a full set, while my sister was going to get a gel manicure. I waited about 20 minutes to get into the pedicure chair. A few minutes later, an older woman walked in saying she wanted a manicure, and needed to go to work at 3:30pm, but stated she did not have an appointment. I realized(too late), that Cindy proceeded to attend to her next, completely ignoring my sister who had been sitting right in front of her, waiting for over an hour. Anyway, at the pedicure station, all went well…(minus the fact the gentleman that was giving me the pedicure kept wiping his runny nose with his sleeve, right in front of me. GROSS!) I finished with my pedicure, and was directed to sit at the dryer station for ANENTIREHOUR. Everytime the dryer would shut off,(signifying the polish is dry), they would tell me to continue drying. Nice way to keep me busy while you take other clients. Sheesh! My sister finally got her nails done, but was left under the Gel UV Dryer by herself. I thought the technician was supposed to be behind the manual drying? Oh, he could care less. He was already giving someone else a pedicure. I was asked to sit in a chair after an entire hour, and again, waited for someone, anyone, to start on my full set. I don’t know why I even stayed for one. After 15 minutes, a different technician came over to ask if I wanted my cuticles removed. «Sure?» I asked. I thought that was done with the drill/file during a full set anyways? She made me put my hands in a glass bowl for another 10 minutes while she too conducted a pedicure. All of a sudden, an extremely loud old lady came in screaming and sat in a technician chair. She was clearly called as back-up, since the salon was running behind. After soaking for a few minutes I was moved to her chair. She cut my cuticles, applied the acrylic SOPOORLY, my skin had acrylic all over it. She then proceeded to file it off my skin, and when that didn’t work, she RIPPEDIT off my skin. I bled and my finger swelled. I’ve always realized nail techs cover the cuts with their fingers so you won’t see the cut they just caused,(LIKEYOUCAN’T ALREADYFEELTHEPAIN). She also filed over the cut, which led to the file to be completely bloody, and she used it throughout the entire process. She never finished shaping the nail where the cut was, because it kept bleeding. so now it looks like a huge blob of acrylic. I now have an oversized nail, a crooked nail, and a cut under the oversized nail. I was charged $ 30 for the horrible full set, and $ 22 for the pedicure. As I’m drying the lady comes over and charges an extra $ 5 for the cuticle trimming. Really? How much does almost chopping my entire skin off cost?! BADSERVICE. EXTREMELYRUSHED. UGLY, RUN-DOWNSALON. NEVERAGAIN.

Terrible. Came in, didn’t get my nails even painted she left the sides to ALL not one but ALL my nails undone then when I said something she gave me attitude and rolled her eyes. I ended up taking the Polish and started doing them myself. It was rushed, very unprofessional, and ended up paying another 10 $ for someone else to do it. Sucks that a good place has to be ruined by one person. If I knew her name I’d tell everyone to not get her but god only knows her name. All I know is never going back, taking my money elsewhere.

I just left this dump and I’m really disappointed. I went in for a regular manicure. The lady who did my nails asked me if I wanted gel and I said«no thanks just regular black polish» she picked the color from the back and when she was ready to paint my nails, the polish looked dark purple so I stopped her and asked her for black. She played dumb and said that’s black but she can put a top coat to make it look dark. I said, «no that’s ok this color is ok» since it was actually cute. Not only did she not paint my full nails yet got in on my skin I still paid more for this«gel polish» that I declined 2xs! I hate it that she pushed gel on me twice and still gave it to me but I wasn’t put under a UV light… I will never go here again and I recommend you find another place. Oh and I can see where the top coat starts and stops on my nails

Love this salon– is a bit rushed, forget about trying to make an apoointment some days but I understand– they make more $$ with walk-ins on some days. That said– when you do sit(at least when I do) I never feel rushed and my pedi always lasts for 2 weeks with no chipped polish. Very good prices and clean!

Just moved to Eastie and have already determined Cindys to be the best nails option. Best prices, but also extremely pleasant and professional service. Got a mani/pedi for $ 30 and used uv light dryers to set the polish. It was super busy so I’m surprised there aren’t more reviews, but I’d recommend calling to make an appointment. I’ll be going back for sure.
