Very good coffee. Good place to grab a quick bite to eat. Service has always been great.

I come here often. I love the iced coffee — one of the best in town in my opinion. The breakfast sandwiches, pastries, and wraps are all tasty but a tad overpriced. It is a nice place to sit and talk with a friend or read while you dine on a late afternoon. Saturday and Sunday mornings can be very busy with a line out the door, so expect a wait or call your order in ahead of time for pickup. The layout could be a little better. Seating feels a little crowded and tables are close together. Overall my favorite coffee shop in Southie.

Decided to go here instead of DD for breakfast since last time I was at DD they didn’t have pumpkin. I ordered a large snickerdoodle hot coffee(2.20) and pumpernickel bagel with egg and cheese($ 4). The flavored coffee was good. Syrup isn’t used to flavor it and I could taste the cinnamon. I also enjoyed the sandwich I ordered. Wish I could have paid by card but there is a $ 10 minimum. I went there on a weekday morning so it wasn’t too busy and I didn’t have to wait long for my sandwich to be made. Also after I placed my order I noticed that they have pumpkin spice coffee so next time I’m going to try that!

It’s a really cute and cosy Café close in walking distance of broadway station! Perfect for a quick afternoon tea and a cookie, brownie or one of their other pastries! I loved the varity of different teas and the stuff was really nice! Definitely recommendable!

This is an ok place for a quick snack, sandwich, coffee or people watching. Items appear to be fresh and inviting. This place feels like it gets a little backed up and there can be a wait. I’m not a fan of that or the prices. I paid $ 17.50 for two coffees and one bacon and egg sandwich on an English muffin. A little pricey especially when its not a Starbucks or a higher end establishment. Can anyone say over charge?

Great breakfast sandwiches but the coffee is terrible I find myself going here just for a sandwich and then getting my coffee elsewhere.

I am lucky this place is not in walking distance! The breakfast sandwiches are so good. The ham and cheese crossaint is yummy! They also have great coffee tons of flavors. And ice cream! Awesome! It’s a nice place to sit and chill with a cup of coffee and a sandwich. Only thing is, it’s a bit small. Opened late though which is a plus!

So slow. A proper café on W Broadway would do quite well. This place is a mess. Slow moving line, clueless employees, passable food at best.

Came here on a Wednesday night for a quick chat with a friend and ended up staying for several hours. So quiet and comfortable we quickly got lost in our conversation, so lost we stayed for 2 hours! Feeling hungry I scoped out the sandwiches, settled on tuna and ordered. The very attentive wait staff asked if I had tried their tuna before and would I like a sample first. When I looked at her funny she laughed and said they put rice in the tuna and wanted to make sure I would like it. A) yes, thank you for caring enough about my experience to offer and B) who knew rice could taste so good in tuna salad? It wasn’t just any rice but a wild rice, and perfectly chewy. Will definitely go back for that sandwich soon! Ambience is good, wood everywhere, typical small coffee joint. Best for when you are alone or meeting a friend though as the tables seat 2. Bus your own table after, which never bothers me. Parking only on the street, that little lot next door is for tenants of the adjacent building.

I’ve tried so hard to like this place because the people are very nice and the service has always been fine. It’s convenient to where I work so I have given it 2nd, 3rd, and 4th chances. The food and coffee are just not good. The coffee tastes burnt as if they haven’t cleaned the machine in ages. The smoothies are full of sugar and super sweet. I’ve had everything from egg sandwiches to salads– it’s just not good. The bran muffin wasn’t bad. Now– you have to spend at least $ 10 to use a debit card. That’s ridiculous. I really wish they would pay attention to the quality of food they are offering as well as cleanliness– it needs a scrub down big time. Unfortunately– if they don’t pay attention to these things, they will be gone once a better take out lunch establishment comes in(which is only a matter of time in Southie.) If your business offers food– quality & cleanliness should be a given. If you don’t have that then you don’t deserve to be in business. Step it up people.

Café Arpeggio’s soups, sandwiches, coffee and ice cream are delicious. These should earn them five stars. However, the group of about 10 older men that occupy most of the limited seating Monday through Friday 11AM to 2PM bring the rating down to 4 stars. I will continue to frequent the café because it’s one of the best spots in Southie to grab a coffee or a tasty lunch. I highly recommend this place, just not for large groups planning to sit down for lunch.

They do not have wifi like Unilocal says, and my chicken salad sandwich had a bone left in it by accident. I wouldn’t come back, unless maybe to grab a coffee on the go.

Café Arpeggio lives up to its appearance as a small neighborhood, family friendly café. The breakfast sandwiches are priced modestly(bacon egg and cheese for $ 4.50), and there is also a wide variety of more elaborate and creative sandwiches and lunch options. The staff is very friendly and the ambiance carries a little bit of the traditional South Boston vibe with the Mediterranean origin. I think that there strengths are in the craft behind their baking, and the richness of their ice cream. The croissants are some of the fluffiest I have ever had, and have a very light body to them. Café Arpeggio is one of the nicest daytime locations to eat on Broadway, on a budget for time and money.

I stop here sometimes while I wait for my laundry to finish up and so far I haven’t been disappointed. The vanilla ice coffee is pretty good — not saturated with sugar like some other cafes. In the morning it’s quite busy, and service can be slow but never have I received a wrong order despite the morning chaos. I didn’t give Apreggio’s four stars just because I think the staff could be friendlier and the overall quality could be better given the price. So overall, no complaints but nothing to brag about either.

I needed to get OUT of the hotel for a bit, so I decided to take a quick walk down the street. I found Arpeggio via the Unilocal app — fyi the directions part of the app sucks! It’s a $ 6.00 minimum to use a credit card so I ordered a medium mocha and a medium mint chocolate chip ice cream. To my surprise — that came out to $ 8.75! wtf! Okay. whatevs, this better be good. The ice cream was pretty tasty but the mocha was way too strong for me. If you like homemade ice cream and strong coffee/espresso drinks then this place is for you.

This café has super delicious breakfast sandwiches — I love the sausage, egg and cheese on a bagel. I haven’t had anything else from them, but the sandwiches and desserts all seem a bit overpriced for me. I can’t comment on the coffee, either. The interior is a bit too slap-dash for me, but it is Southie…

Great Coffee & Good Breakfast sandwiches. Takes a bit of time but overall worth the wait.
