I visited here for a business lunch and was pleased. It is definitely a sports themed bar so I would not necessarily recommend it for a business meeting, but if you can do a casual lunch meeting, this place works great. The food is very good with lots of different options. I had the grilled romaine salad with salmon and it was delicious. I saw other plates come out of the kitchen which looked quite good as well. The server was attentive without hovering and I would recommend this place to others.

The best spot to catch any game! Food is always on point. Just discovered the philly cheese steak sandwich. What a game changer! I also love that they keep Natural Light on tap for us enthusiasts out there.

Grab a few beers at this place, just wished they had a few more IPAs in stock. Otherwise no complaints.

Great selection of beer on tap. Loved the clam chowder I had, can’t wait to go back and try something else. Overall their food selection is excellent, there is something for everybody. My friend had the Cobb Salad and it had a very generous portion of chicken on it. The service was also very friendly and attentive.

Great server terrible management. They thought we didn’t tip and came over to call us out for«not tipping» where we included it into the totals because they refused to split checks. The foods average at best and if management is that unprofessional there’s plenty of other average eateries I can spend my money at. Not worth it at all.

VEGANS! The veggie burger patty has egg in it. So you can have… a salad. Thrilling, I know.

One of my favorite spots in the City to Watch any type of event Great selection of beer on tap, Great bar food. If you get a chance to go on a nice day the patio is very nice as well. The manager PJ is a great guy if you get a chance to talk to him. Extremely friendly and very knowledgeable about anything you want to talk about. They also have a bartender Ola who maybe one of the nicest in the city. Would recommend for any occasion

We recently checked this out with a Gilt coupon for a late night drink/snack. The bar itself is a pretty cool spot. A big added bonus is the outdoor patio seating. A great location for a quiet late night date. Our downfall was making the mistake of ordering appetizers. I can only describe them as, «Icky.» We realized the error of our ways as soon as we saw them come out; didn’t even have to taste them. I’ll probably go back there just to have a couple of quiet late night cocktails on that outdoor patio. I’ll just make sure that I eat somewhere else before I go. JB

Every time I go to Battery Park I always have a great time! The bar is clean and the service is very friendly and accommodating. I enjoy their veggie burger but the hummus plate is my favorite– perfect texture and flavor.

The pretzel roll for the California burger made my night but the service was questionable enough to bring my review down to three stars!!!

After looking at pictures on their website, I was excited to try Battery Park. It looked like the kind of semi-upscale sports bar I normally gravitate to. So I headed over after work on a Thursday evening. The first thing I noticed was how much smaller the bar area is than it appears in the pictures online. There’s a few too many pub tables and shuffling around them can be a hassle. They have a solid selection of beers on tap. I ordered the Bluepoint blueberry, which is probably my favorite blueberry beer. It was good, but the bartender offered to put blueberries in it before she realized they were all out of blueberries. Get it together, toots. We tried the Shark Tracker lager next, which was a nice, light lager with a fair amount of flavor. Nothing amazing, but worth a try if only because ‘shark week’ finished up recently. After a couple beers inside, we headed out to the patio area for dinner. It’s located down an alleyway, which is a little weird, but overall it has a decent vibe to it. It takes a while for the waitress to grab beers and food because there is a LONG corridor separating the indoor bar and kitchen from the outdoor patio, so that immediately creates a problem with service; not necessarily the servers’ fault. I ordered the buttermilk fried chicken sandwich with onion rings. The chicken itself was chewy and overcooked. The onion rings were much better as they had a hint of sweetness to them that worked nicely. They also had a light coating of batter that reminded me of tempura style fried food. My friend ordered the California burger, which was much better than the chicken sandwich. The avocado was a nice touch. However, the fries were under-cooked and overall underwhelming. Also, as the night went on, there was a fairly strong breeze that made it’s way down the alleyway patio. Even though it was 71 degrees outside, we found ourselves shivering from the coldness.

I am not surprised to see this place keeps getting negative review! The way the owner treats his customers is something you never want to experience in your life. If the owner is an a-hole, What do u expect from this place? Right?

This review is just for the food — its solid shitty food. That’s the best way to put it. It’s shitty for you but it tastes pretty good.

We stumbled upon this place when we were looking for a quick meal before a movie at the AMC. We have since made this a regular stop in Boston. The menu is far above average for a sports bar! I also love the atmosphere. Is a great place to watch games, however, it’s not too loud or crowded. The servers somehow manage the large number of people in the bar. The menu items are very unique. I have never ordered anything that I didn’t love! My favorite dishes are the hummus plate and the Reuben egg rolls. The best menu item overall is the molten lava cookie dessert. This dessert must be sent straight from heaven. It’s truly indescribable. You must order it!

I I was surprised to learn this place was in the 3.5 range on Unilocal,as for a place aiming for the«Classy Sports Lounge» atmosphere, I thought they played the role rather nicely. However, I could easily understand someone coming in off the street and feeling it was not on par with the other quasi-classy bar/restaurants that a grand number of Boston joints attempt to position themselves as. I would recommend asking about their rotational grilled cheese offering and changing up your typical game-watching beer to one of their nicely curated tap selection. That is where this place shines.

Really good lunch. The atmosphere is great. They have a ton of good TVs, big front windows that open to let the outside in, good beer selection and good, bar food/sandwiches. We had very good service today too. Looks like a great spot for drinks after work. Not cheap but hey, that’s downtown Boston.

This place has a nice lounge to come and socialize after work. I wouldn’t come here for food as it tends to be greasy. Drinks took a while to come out, so if you’re looking for a very efficient place, I’d go elsewhere.

Great spot! A hidden gem! It’s open late, kitchen closes at 11, TV’s everywhere, food is outstanding for a bar and the service was excellent! Pricing is a little high but the food and experience is worth it! We got the Black and Fuzzy cocktail(perfectly mixed and tasted amazing), the Lobster Mac & Cheese(SOOO cheesy, lots of lobster and so flavorful) and the Sweet potato burger with Brie and jam and a side of fried pickles(I was shocked at how good all the ingredients came together)!! The fried pickles were lightly fried, perfect crispiness to them. It was on a Tuesday so there wasn’t a huge crowd, but people did keep coming in. Our waitress was very nice and all together the bill was under $ 45! I recommend this bar for great food and wonderful service!

We were SO pleased we decided to stop into Battery Park Bar and Lounge and even considered going back during our very short stay. Hubby and I decided to take our eatery to the next level — in Boston, MA. Unfortunately, the first day we arrived it was cold and rainy, and we needed a place to watch some of the sporting events. Through some Unilocaling, Hubby found Battery Park as a short walk from our hotel. Deciding to brave the elements, we traveled forth to what happened to be a really fun night. When we arrived(around 8PM on a Saturday), the place was full, though not packed. The Bruins were playing, so every table was filled, but the host assured us that we would be seated quickly. Meanwhile, we ordered a round at the bar and waited about five minutes until we had a great booth with a front row seat to TVs! While we originally anticipated going to Battery Park for just a couple of drinks, we decided to stay and ordered a few of their appetizers. We got the buffalo chicken rangoons, buffalo chicken wings, clam chowder, and to top it off, the cookie dough pie. O-M-G. I never thought a sports bar /lounge could deliver as well as they did in terms of food AND service. We were treated well by all the wait-staff + host, who consistently brought us clean plates and cutlery. The food, amazing. If you ever go, you MUST get the buffalo chicken rangoons AND the clam chowder. We were in Boston a few days, but this was the best chowder I had the entire time in the city(and I had a lot). The cookie dough pie is baked skillet perfection complete with ice cream on top that melts in your mouth. We finished everything, and we did not feel guilty about it. In the middle of all this enjoyment, Hubby’s phone(and second love of his life behind me) died. No fear, PJ the wonderful host came to the rescue and supplied a charger to get him back to life and onto his ESPN app again. Overall, we had such an awesome time at Battery Park and would have loved to have gone back. I am sure we will be back if ever in Boston. Really liked this place!
