YESSSSS. What can I say? I’m a huge sucker for breakfast sandwiches and live right around the corner. Affordable, delicious… and they never skimp on the bacon. I’ve had lunch here a couple times as well and never been disappointed either. Iced coffee is good too! Excellent service, very friendly and generally speedy. They can certainly get busy around lunch time, but what do you expect? Wish they were open on the weekend, but I get it. They cater the the M-F business crowd.

Perfect if you’re craving a sandwich. Hearty portions, yummy bread, creative combinations and a quick crew make for a damn good sandwich shoppe. No salads or soups, just sandwiches(and cookies, deep river chips, bottled soda). The staff is sort of crass and the shade they throw at subway(A few doors down) cracks me up. My faves are the Gobbler, the Cubano and the chicken cutlet on a baguette.

I go here 4.5 weekdays per week. Rotate between the Mexican wrap, the BLT, and the daily specials. Excellent value, excellent sandwich. Why does anybody go to the Subway next door?

Breakfast: Big start on a wrap. Lunch: Cubano. Haven’t had a bad meal here and everyone is super friendly.

Greek omelette good. Don’t get the buffalo chicken salad. Very sour and salty. And I just got my fit start 10 min later after everyone has there. Fit start is decently good. A hit and miss here.

I almost always order the same sandwich when I visit BBS, and they do a great job with it. In particular, I need to give two thumbs up to one of the employees, Derek, who delivers an awesome product every time. He takes into consideration my favorite proportions and he is very friendly. Excellent service! The man deserves a raise! My only complaint is the long line, but I guess it’s an indication of their great food.

It did not take long for this to become a routine lunch stop for me while I worked in the city. Featuring a wide array of sandwiches and wraps, I failed to find one I did not like after close to 2 years of getting food here at least 1 – 2 times per week. My favorite was a tie between the Tex Mex wrap, and the Spicy Italian. Not much else can be said, quality food for lunch at the heart of Back Bay at prices that will make you think you’re far from the city.

It was my first time here yesterday. I ordered the egg, cheese & prosciutto on baguette. The sandwich was pretty good! The saltiness of the prosciutto was perfect with the egg & the white cheese(tasted like a mild American cheese, but I could be wrong). The total was $ 4.22. My reasoning for 4 stars is that the sandwich was kind of small. It might’ve just been my bread choice. I saw others who ordered the wrap/burrito & it looked a little more filling. I’ll try again next time!

Came here at 11:20am on a weekday and the place was pretty empty. The location is inside the office building in a strip of stores so you’ll have to go inside to find it. I got the Sweet Carolina chicken wrap with a pickle on the side — service was fast and the wrap was pretty well made. I liked the sauce and the chicken was really yummy, though the wrap was a bit smaller than I had expected(especially since they’re called«big» chicken wraps). Also, the pickle wasn’t the sour type that I really like; it kind of had a unique taste. Nonetheless it was a satisfying meal. I’m not sure if I would come here all the time, but it does seem like a solid lunch spot.

First timer. Wanted the Cubano(I love me a good Cubano), but went with the Steak & Cheese Special instead, which had peppers, onions, and horseradish sauce. Several others near me ordered the same thing, so it must be a popular sammich, but it was way too fatty and chewy for me. Will I come back? Sure. I still need to try the Cubano.

Absolutely the best sandwich takeout in the back bay! We work across the street and I go here every Friday and get the Sweet Carolina chicken wrap. The sauce they use in the sandwich is SO good and mixed with the diced pickles is a different taste but delicious. They have such a wide variety of sandwiches and a selection of vegetarian options as well. Overall a good lunch option for a work day! Also great assortment of chips which is necessary!

I love this place! I always get the Greek Wrap, but I switch up how I get it sometimes. You can add hummus or chicken or both, and it’s always amazing! Their chicken is SOGOOD. I imagine it’s good in any of their sandwiches or wraps. Also, their pickles are amazing! Definitely try this spot for lunch if you work in the area. The line may look long and intimidating, but they are very fast and efficient!

It’s good, but it’s not great. Their meatball is pretty awful, for instance, but their buffalo wrap is nice and tangy. The chicken wraps in general are a solid choice, though you wish there was a little more to the chicken to make it a little more interesting. It’s your standard breaded chicken tender. The chicken BLT with guac, for example, was bland to the point of being bad. I wasn’t nuts about the italian either, which lacked the crunch of the vegetables or the chew of good bread. If you can, avoid getting the sesame roll they use for sandwiches, which tends to be a bit stale and flakey. I’ve had a lot more luck just getting everything in wrap form. I like this place, but I wouldn’t really recommend their sandwiches. Stick to the wraps and you should be fine.

I really like the quality of their sandwiches, when they remember to add all the ingredients listed. I’ve had a few that were missing this or that, and it was kinda disappointing. But overall the selection and quality are good. They’re a little pricier than I’d expect, but not outrageous. Definitely worth trying. That said, during lunchtime they are slooooow. i can’t stand waiting that long, even as good as they are. So if you believe the other reviews, just don’t go during say Noon to 1pm.

Finally! A delicious chicken parmesan sandwich in Back Bay. The chicken was thick, lightly breaded and fried, and the sauce was thick and tasty. Fresh bread, too, at 3pm. For $ 6.25, it’s good value, though I was charged $ 6.75 – maybe for the extra sauce? How much extra sauce can you put on a sandwich? If I asked for just a little sauce, would they charge less than $ 6.25? Would have been a 5-star review had it not been for the price stacking. Oh, the owner, Nick, sent me a nice email regarding my comments above. First of all, thanks for the email. It tells me you care. The over charge was unintentional. Also, the chicken is baked and not fried – and it’s spectacular. I’ll be back soon, Nick, and thanks again.

After working in the Boylston St area for 4 months, I have to agree with other reviews that this is the best lunch option around. The area is made for tourists and not businesses, but there are still lots of banks here. Lunch options here are sandwiches, sandwiches, more sandwiches, the(awesome) food trucks, and Viga. BBS competes with 4 sandwich shops in the same hall and easily outperforms them. Any of the chicken cutlet subs are good. Breakfast croissant with the Texas Hot Sauce is good too. PROTIP Don’t come at 12:30. Try 11:45 or 1:15pm, or else you’ll be waiting in a line out the door.

Everything about this place makes it the perfect lunch spot. Grab the Boneless Buffalo wrap or the Cubano. Both top my lunch delicious list. Definitely ask for extra pickles on the side. What this place lacks in speedy service it crushes in taste. Avoid during peak lunch hour, 12−1pm can get nutzo.

Went here for a quick bite to eat for lunch. This place gets a bit crowded so be prepared to wait in line, but the overall wait time was only about 20 mins(10 mins in line, 10 mins waiting). For my meal, I went with the corned beef reuben which was decent, but pretty average. However, I had a bite of my friends Turkey Tuesday special and it was absolutely delicious. The service here is very friendly and the prices are definitely reasonable. Has a good amount of seating and conveniently located in St. James place. Worth checking out for lunch if you’re in the area.

Quick service, tons of variety, and they have Iggy’s baguettes as a bread option. I’ve noticed the staff is heavy handed with the toppings(pickles) which is great for me. I’m excited to have found another solid, affordable lunch option in the area!
