I went here when I was in town for a convention a few months ago. I’ve literally have had dreams about these burgers, they are that good. Gets pretty crowded so go early to avoid the lunch rush. But it’s totally worth it! Everything was delicious

Have you tried their new menu items? No? Really? Why not? They’re totally delish, seriously. They have new seasonal salads, fresh & tasty smoothies & new quinoa bowls. I usually frequent their downtown location more often than this one but it’s all good. I have been a fan of b. Good for years & they don’t disappoint. Mark my words no matter what you get it’s awesomeness. The veggie friendliness of their items is great & they keep adding more which of course makes them even better in my book.

I really liked their Seasonal Burger(JOANIE), tastes really good — just that its not the same size as you get from other burger places — definitely smaller.

B. Good, at any location, always serves up a solid meal. I am a creature of habit, which means that I always order a turkey west side burger. YUM. I skip the fries(I like fries to be extra crispy and that’s just not possible when baked) and get the crisp veggies as a side. Love having a good quality, healthier fast food/burger option that’s always nearby when I’m in the city.

I used to go here on a weekly basis after class because it opens relatively late compared to other spots on Newbury and mainly because I used the wifi while having dinner to catch up on personal stuff, etc. The last 4 or 5 times I went the wifi wasnt working, so I will STOP going. Im sure my 4 meals per month pay for the internet service. Now they just lost a customer.

I agree with others on here that the food can be very inconsistent. I’ve had great burgers, and I’ve had lousy dry ones. I’ve had fresh crispy fries, and soggy cold ones. However, I keep coming back(maybe it’s because they are right across the street?) so that must mean they are doing something right. Their seasonal burgers are usually pretty delicious, and loaded with fresh ingredients. I also recommend the plain fries over the sweet potato fries. I just wish they weren’t so pricy either…

Ordered grilled chicken sandwich and they gave me cardboard tasting beef. Fries ok not great and came cold. Best thing was the shake. Coming back? Hell no not even for the shake.

un sitio muy agradable, correcto, hamburguesas buenas, lo considero el típico sitio de fast food, me habían hablado mucho de él pero me pareció bastante normal, te quita el hambre pero nada más

There’s no good way to say this: the burgers here are pretty average, the buns are unimpressive, and the food gets cold in seconds due to the subarctic temperature inside. However – and here’s the only real reason to come here – the ice cream vanilla shake is AMAZING. Best vanilla shake I’ve ever had. The place should be renamed«b.shakes».

I want to love b.good. I really, really do. Their menu is great, but they don’t handle lunch craziness very well. You’ll get a long line, every time. They’ve started having someone take credit card only orders in line, which helps get the ordering done sooner. However, I often wait a good 30 minutes for food there. I even had a coworker wait 45 minutes for his food and he ordered it online before we walked over. No refund or anything. I often have things wrong with my order — I ask for«no onions» every time and only get no onions on my burger maybe 25% of the time. The food is often only lukewarm and I have to eat there for that to be acceptable vs. ice-cold after heading back to the office. Overall, I wish the prices were a bit lower or the service a bit better and I’d be happier with the place.

I like that B. Good tries to focus on a healthier version to your typical run-of-the-mill fast food joints. Their burgers are not really that special, and not really worth the price they charge. I only really came to this location if I absolutely needed to grab a bite to eat between classes.

def healthy and tasty! I ordered the veggie burger w avocado n cilantro style just to hold me off until dinner and it was satisfying I think this place deserves better reviews and higher ratings — it was clean and the staff was friendly A bit hot since it is kinda underground…

On the whole, I like b. good as a chain. It makes me feel kind of virtuous when I want to eat the triumvirate of artery clogging meals, burger/shake/fries, because of their use of baking over frying and focus on healthier ingredients. The food itself is decent. I particularly like the sweet potato fries and the fact that they offer the leaner option of bison burgers along with regular meat, veggie and turkey burgers for all their sandwichs. This particular location feels kind of weird though. First of all, the basement locale has awkward signage and it’s much smaller than the other nearby b. good outposts on Dartmouth Street and Mass Ave. The times I’ve been here it’s been a bit too tight and I ended up having to throw bows every time I wanted to grab ketchup or refill my soda. But if 3 stars is A-OK than that pretty much sums it up. Same quality food, same oversized pictures informing you whose potatoes you’re devouring or which dude raised the cow you’re about to masticate. Plus they offer LevelUp now, which I absolutely love. Bottom line: this location is perfectly acceptable but with so many other b. goods in the hood– I’ll probably just end up walking a bit farther for the extra table room.

Genuinely, not that good. Sweet potato fries were burned, too starchy, and cut far too large. The burger was dry, roll was practically stale and frankly not that good. The iced tea was mediocre, and appeared to have been mislabeled«homemade orange», there was nothing orange about it.

b. good…My 1st visit to the Newbury St. location was 5STAR! BUT…My 2nd trip to the other Back Bay location was 2STAR? B.Good on Newbury Street made me a perfect, med-well burger, with a crispy side of sweet potato fries and a flavorful fruit smoothie. B.Good on Dartmouth Street made me a half raw, REDBURGER, with a side of mushed, greasy fries… smoothie was still great though. THEDEAL: Food can be a little inconsistent by location. Many Unilocalers have whined about receiving semi-raw burgers from b.good. Perhaps the Back Bay chef may be colorblind… so he can’t see the burger is red on the inside. Cut him some slack… he could have a disability! Of course, if he IS disabled, and they did fire him for serving raw burgers… he’d just end up collecting unemployment. Unless he didn’t know he was fired because he couldn’t tell his Pink Slip was… well…you know.

I love b. good! Having asked Unilocalers for some rec’s prior to crossing the pond, b. good was said as being good for gluten free. My first meal in the US was here and it was fab! Battling jet lag and trying to stay up for 22 – 24 hours so my body could be on US time, I wanted good solid food! I loved being able to have a burger, complete with GF bun, and salad. I also tried the sweet potato fries which were great. As I ate early, I grabbed a table outside so I could people watch on Newbury St. Service was lovely and friendly and my server brought my food out to me, instead of waiting for it. I like b. good’s model — good local healthy food! Portion sizes were just fine for me here(pretty normal rather than huge US portions), rather than the huge array of fatty foods usually on offer so it is well worth a visit!

Just what i was looking for. Fresh burger, with quick and super friendly service. Turkey burger is pretty delicious, and the fries aren’t bad. A little on the pricey though. Over nine bucks for a burger and fries, no drink Side Note: are all people around berkley this friendly? This is 3rd place ive went in where the people are just ridiculously friendly for a city

Great concept! I love that they show pictures of who’s growing your vegetables, etc. but I’ve had much better burgers elsewhere! I shared a double patty burger(forgot the name) with mushrooms, bbq sauce, and swiss. We also added avocado, which was basically mashed avocado spread, and a side of sweet potato fries. Disappointed in the sweet potato fries! They were totally soggy. But what I did like was that you could really taste the sweet potato flavor shine through and since they were thick fries, you could see the texture of it. Although they were baked, they weren’t crispy at all but rather sitting in moisture The burger had good flavor and not too messy like I thought it would be with the bbq sauce and all The thing I didn’t really like about this location was that it was kind of in a lower level(basement?) so the only ventilation seemed to be the door that opened and closed. THUS, when we came out, our clothes smelled like burgers the whole day! No wonder all the outside seating was taken.

This is a chain(small) of the Northeast and since I needed food after being denied service at two surrounding restaurants, I found this place hidden underneath the galley that is Newbury Street. I walked in and it is a fast food place. More like«not fast, but prompt» food is more like it. It is made to order because they grind meat in house and get all their vegetables, ice cream, and other supplies from local suppliers. It’s all over the restaurant, which in my opinion is a hell of a marketing(or maaaaketing tactic since I am in Boston). I got to put my own Sriracha chili sauce on my «El Guapo» burger which I got on a wheat bun! Nice! I also got sweet potato fries which were awesome! Fresh from Carolina… COUNTIT! I needed the full experience to «b.good»,(see what I did there) so I ended up getting a strawberry banana shake. I am glad I ended up here, because total it was about $ 15 for a shake, fries, and a burger.

When I was in college across the street at Berklee 10 years ago, this godforsaken location housed a place called«The Wrap». The«wrap» sold terrible sandwiches wrapped up in tortillas, some of which they were silly enough to call burritos. Being from Los Angeles, I sometimes had to physically restrain my friends who didn’t know better from dining at this establishment, which had no onions or cilantro on the premises. But given our collegiate economic restrains, I sometimes ended up with a chicken ceasar«wrap», much to my chagrin. Yesterday I was fortunate enough to see that the people of the great city of Boston have come to their senses, putting«the wrap» out of business and erecting this in its place. Although their ads for freshly ground meat are kind of hokey, I love that they have pictures on the wall of the people/companies/farms who grow their veggies, potatoes for fries, etc. My burger itself was great, the cheddar was nice and sharp, the pickles were dill and cut thick, and the beef was peppered with… um…freshly ground pepper. The fries were nice but not memorable, but the rasberry iced tea and lemonade were phenomenal. A lovely place to grab a burger that actually tastes like a burger. I’m all for it.

I stopped in to redeem a coupon I had for a free order of sweet potato fries. A shake made with local blueberries on the menu caught my eye so I ordered one of those too. Though I understand that the fries are baked and the idea is that they not lose their integrity as being a «healthy» alternative to the regular variety, they just didn’t do much for me. They weren’t crispy or very well seasoned. But they were free and that was a nice treat. The blueberry shake… YUM! So smooth and creamy and full of blueberry flavor. I know the local flavors on b. good’s menu change but definitely try the blueberry if it’s available!
