Opera House At Boothbay Harbor

I love this place. We went to two events this year. First was the Christmas tree show. All the trees were either up for auction or had an auction component. So you could bid on gift certificates for food and varied items or the trees themselves. They also had some «shops» around the outside with various things. I would suggest they sell some bottled water next year. I could have killed for one. Next event was the gingerbread houses. They allowed kids and adults to compete. Lots of funny, interesting, and just plain beautiful submissions were available. Many you could bid on and take home. Where the events huge, no we are a small town. The fact that they had them and it was open to the community was the best part! I look forward to many more opportunities in the future.

Loved every minute of our experience at this place. Very nicely run by local staff! Will go back without a doubt.

Fantastic venue for live music. The acoustics are great and the staff are super friendly. I look forward to returning for another show in the near future.

Great location for an intimate show. They have done a great job keeping the building maintained. The staff is very pleasant and welcoming. It is in a great location with several eateries in walking distance. There is a parking lot if you are going to see a show at the Opera House. There is also a lot of street parking (parallel) around town. Summer months are busy.
Worth the trip if you see something to your liking.
