Atlantic Edge Lobster

as we ventured up and down the coast of boothbay harbor, it was decided Atlantic Edge was priced just right.
parking in their own private lot, kim and i ventured inside to gauge what they had available and about potential shipping to family back home.
we decided on the 1−¼ lb lobster that had our names on it. bagged live and ready for travel, we took them back to the cottage and began to prep them for dinner.
i ended up napping, only to wake hearing kim laughing, as both gary and andy were not in the kitchen as the boiling water was prepped. something about the end of a lobster’s travel without their say…
one attempted escape. megan kept her eye on it and played briefly with it before being scooped and placed back into the boiling pot of water.
dinner was served. delicious and very flavorful.
i ventured back and placed an order for a dozen to be shipped overnight to my family — as they will now experience what i have been enjoying all week long.
they, however, will be receiving the 1−½lb’ers. i look forward to hearing what they have to say, even though i already know what to expect.
i may be calling and having more shipped, if they keep their prices down and steady for those craving Maine’s hard-​shell lobsters!
