Bens Espresso

Bens Espresso is a very tiny coffee shop that (I think) is attached to a grocery store of some sort…
First thing I noticed was the awesome prices they offer, and that everyday they have a different deal running. The day I went, it happened to be free italian sodas for kids, but they also had like 50% off coffee days, 50% monthly special days, etc. I love when little coffee shops do stuff like that — that’s how you create regulars! I’d totally be one if I lived in the area.
I tried one of their October specials — the Witches Brew. It was a white chocolate/​butterscotch mocha. It turned out pretty amazing, but I was kind of bummed because I couldn’t taste the butterscotch that much. For a 20 oz, I only paid $ 4! Dealz.
The barista was really nice as well, so customer service is something they’re well-​oriented with too!

I used to go to Starbucks on a regular basis but then I started going here after trying a few drinks when I would pick up my boyfriends red bull drinks. The baristas know him because he always does coffee runs for his work (vapor st8) I love how friendly they all are and they were really helpful with suggesting drinks to try. Their smoothies are to die for! Especially the strawberry banana, and I love the Snickerdoodle blended. They also have an awesome selection of treats!

Drinks are always great. Service is always friendly. I’ve been coming here for years and never disappointed!

My favorite place in Bonney Lake to get coffee. I converted to Bens from Starbucks, and I have never regretted it. The service is great, the baristas are SO friendly and welcoming, and the coffee is AMAZING!

Went to Ben Franklin to get some art supplies and the smell of fresh espresso and the posted specials drew me in. I was surprised that for a walk up espresso it was nice inside. The Barista gets 5 stars for friendliness, pleasantness and overall good natured service. I had a friend with me that was giving her a hard time and she didn’t even bat an eye just returned his banter with ease all the while continuing to prepare our drinks (without burning them) and provide greetings to the incoming customers. She knew her menu and specials without even looking at the board and was able to give recommendations both on her favorites and what people generally like.
The espresso itself was good not burnt and not over sweetened. I will more than likely stop there again when in the area.

This place can go between 2 and 4 stars depending on who is the barista the day you go.
I normally get a crème de menthe latte with omg amounts of syrup.
Sometimes it comes out almost perfect, and others my coffee is burnt and they don’t put in nearly as much flavoring as I ask them.
Service is okay, yet again depending on the day.
However I will say their italian sodas are the bomb. So I avoid the coffee and get those because they are a.) cheaper b.) no one can f*ck it up and c.) they have every flavor under the friggin sun.

GREAT service and the barista that works on Wed. Sat and Sunday is the sweetest every. Always makes my soy mocha ½ pump just right!
