One of the best places in Boise to get a crisp, thin crust pizza that really pleases. I decided to make my own with black olives on tomato sauce with mozz and basil. It’s my favorite pizza. But their Don Kahuna is a tasty twist on a Hawaiian and The Boss is a great pepperoni option! Lots of delicious brews on tap here. I’m not much of a beer drinker, but my friends that are adore coming here. Many selections from the Pacific Northwest. The best night to venture in is Tuesday. That’s when they make calzones to order. Served with a salad, you get a filling and great meal for around ten bucks or less. Service is friendly. Their one bathroom can be in high demand on weekend nights but fun to pop in for a slice after catching a show upstairs at The Reef!

The pizza and wraps are delicious. I always get pizza by the slice Friday and Saturday night! Great deal. The atmosphere is chill and I like that they have about five TVs with different shows/movies on. The staff is friendly and cool but not in your face. The ½ off happy hour deals are worthwhile. Yum!

Amazing, delicious, well priced. The pizza was unique and high quality. Happy hour beers and appetizers were too good to be true and we finished off with a warm gooey fresh baked cookie topped with ice cream. Yum!

This place has one of the best tap selections in Boise! It may not be large but its always eclectic and interesting. The pizza there is also really good. The place looks kind of like a standard hole in the wall pizza place but it is anything but. The pizza is creative and extremely tasty. I highly recommend the Enforcer if its your first time. Its also a great place to snag a good beer if you heading to the Reef for a live band or just for other food. They don’t mind if you bring your beer upstairs(I think its the same owners).

Upon sitting down at The Front Door, we were informed they had the BEST pizza in Boise, so of course we had to put their claim to the test. I’ve been to The Front Door for drinks before, but had never eaten, so I was excited to try something new! Food: We started with a la carte wings. They offer several different flavors of wings, and we tried the Thai Peanut and Buffalo versions. They are saucy and amazing, costing around $ 1.65/wing… super reasonable. I also had a side organic greens salad, which was a big stack of greens, topped with croutons, a tomato and cucumber. It was very good with their balsamic. Finally, we tried a personal Boss pizza(basically, it’s a pepperoni pizza). It was absolutely delicious. The crust was puffy & crunchy, the pepperoni was thick and salty, and the cheese – OHTHECHEESE~it was like a cheesy pizza commercial… absolutely amazing. Now, I don’t know if they have the BEST pizza in Boise(we love Lulu’s!), but it’s definitely worth a return trip. Drinks: n/a Atmosphere: Upbeat and fun. They have tall tables & booths, TV’s, and an open view of the kitchen. It’s not a huge space and can really fill up, but we like it a lot! It feels warm and cozy. Service: Fast, friendly and helpful if you are not a pro at ordering or are going in for the first time. Thanks guys! Happy Hour Offerings: M-F ½ off apps, $ 3 wells and $ 1 off wines. Healthy Hack: Their side organic greens salad is a great item. Add it to the side of your meal or eat as a stand-alone with a la carte wings. Tips: n/a

Did you know… the proper amount of foam will hold the multifaceted aromatics within the beer allowing consumer to embrace and relish it’s complexities. Since we are just having a light lunch, they cheerfully split a beer for us so it was the perfect amount.

Godfather and goodfella were both really tasty. Best pizza crust and overall pizza I’ve had. Trust me I’ve eaten too much pizza in my life. Fun beer selection. Great patio

Got in late before closing. They were great about letting us order so close to closing. We got the«Underworld» with sausage added. That was awesome and one of my best I ever had. The bar tender had a vast knowledge of the beers served and was very pleasant to converse with and make us feel welcome. Definitely worth the stop!

While passing through Boise we Unilocaled and found this highly rated place and were very happy we stopped and tried it out. We tried a few pizzas and the deep dish chocolate cookie. Best pizza was Santana(Italian sausage) followed by Underworld(veg) and then Gambino(chicken). The sausage and the onion on the Santana pizza was wonderful. The garlic infused olive oil and the taste of the basil on the Underworld pizza makes it a very good choice for vegetarian people here. I really like both of the pizzas. Gambino was also good but in contrast with these two pizzas it was found to be wanting. But for chicketarians it is a good option. The deep dish chocolate chip cookie with a scoop of ice cream on top was warm, fresh and super delicious. The ice cream had a salty flavor to it which made the combination of the taste awesome. The whole experience of service, atmosphere(we were there during a live game when Boise was winning), and food makes me give this place a five star rating.

Ordered a large half Enforcer/half Wise Guy and of course, the meatball sub. «Delicious by Chicago standards» according to a couple of Chicago natives we brought along. I have to agree. Keep rockin’ on, Front Door.

The Mighty Mac n Cheese in Boise was posted today and it left out one amazing example: the Mac n Cheese Pizza!!! This amazing pizza has a cheese sauce, macaroni and cheese(of course), jalapenos and BACON! All of this comes on what I consider to be the best pizza crust in town. If you’ve never tried this personification of pizza perfection you really need to get to the Front Door! Not sure you want to commit to a whole pizza? Then get down there in Friday or Saturday night after 9 pm and you can get just a slice(BIG) and try some of their great craft beers as well. Yummmmmy!

Dynamite pizza, and always a fantastic and eclectic beer list. One of our go-to’s when we’re downtown.

This is one of the top 20 pizzas I have ever had. It was busy the night I visited, but the wait staff still managed to take good care of me. I look forward to returning again soon with my family. Great sauce, fantastic crust, quality cheese, excellent toppings, and cooked to perfection. What else could a person possibly want in life?

Come here for amazing local beer and their rotating drafts! Also… I have to say that this place could give Flying Pie a run for their money with these pizzas! Beyond amazing! Yum yum yum! The Front Door is right under the Reef and has an «Old New York/Old Boston» feel to it. I feel like if I walk in the door, I’m going to see some Italian mobsters making a deal and seeing old Hollywood actors by the bar. It’s a very cool atmosphere. And the new bartender is very handsome ;) hint hint ladies.

Best pizza I’ve had outside of Jersey. No pizza outside of NJ will ever be good as what I had going up, but nothing has ever come this close anywhere else.

Another successful father/daughter date took place here. Our waitress was very nice. We HAD to try their pizza… duh! I like thin crust, but it was on the flimsy side. We also tried their BBQ and Thai wings. The food was good, but I can’t say I MUST have any of it again. I will say it’s a great spot to hang out. I like that it’s a small place, because you don’t feel like you get lost among all the other tables.

I had my second trip to the front door last night for a late evening snack and beer. It was moderately busy but we had no trouble getting a table. Our waiter was right there and helped us decide on appetizers too. Good appetizer, great pizza and lots of beer selections. I’ll go back again for sure.

The Front Door is definitely one of my favorite places in Boise. They have the awesome combination of a great tap list and delicious food, plus they offer cheap slices late on weekends. My boyfriend and I usually frequent this place for beers, share a house salad, and get a medium-size pizza(good for two people plus a few extra slices). The staff is super friendly and remembered us after our second visit. Definitely recommend!

This is my kind of place! Small but very comfortable! Has a good downtown vibe and the staff is very proud and love to tell you all about it. Good beer and wine selection. But the thing that makes this place a 5 star is the food. Loved everything I ate and wanted everything that came out of the kitchen that I could see. I will tell you that it is a little hard to find but when you do its worth it! I learned about the happy hour from 3 to 6 daily where the appetizers are half price! So the awesome jalapeño poppers would be about $ 3:50!!! Are you kidding me! The quality is amazing! This is a must try! You won’t be sorry!
